You get to have cute clothes for helping others. They are always right on top of redirecting toward the current events.
Why don't they have reviews on their site? That should have been my red flag warning. I loved that some of the proceeds went to charities so I decided to buy some and was so excited to wear them. They were not cheap! Ordered multiple sweatshirt/shirts from them in one order and once they arrived I could not have been more disappointed. Such poor quality and the fit is all off! I'm not super skinny... but I definitely felt skinny, and not in a good way! Not sure why the sizes and descriptions are so off on their website. Awful experience!

I love what The Shop Forward appears to be working towards, however, in my experience, it's all surface level. I have an online boutique and unknowingly used a very vague, common term they have trademarked. It was an honest mistake; I removed the term immediately and emailed them to apologize and asked for their assistance in making sure my updated description was satisfactory. They never responded. As a small business owner who quit my job only two months before to pursue following my dream full time, this was scary, threatening to my livelihood, and unbelievably disappointing coming from a company who claims their mission is to support and uplift others. I emailed the lawyer on the trademark, the CEO, their generic support email, and even contacted the shop on instagram after all my previous attempts failed. It's obvious their support only extends to causes that will promote their image. If you want your target audience (which I have no doubt I'm part of) to believe in your mission and your company, maybe you should start practicing what you preach. I have plenty of friends who have ordered from them in the past who now take their business elsewhere. Disappointing.
I ordered the Camo #PimpinJoy Dad hat for myself. The day I received it I loved it so much, I wanted to send one to a friend so he could appreciate the hat as much as I do - and I thought a surprise gesture was a perfect way to support the #PimpinJoy Movement and its monetary cause! I made the purchase, but forgot to send it as a gift or leave a personalized note. As soon as I received the confirmation e-mail, I replied to it and ask for help! Immediately,@AshleySilva8 (IG) replied and took care of me and ensured my order would be shipped the same day! I had an exceptionally pleasant customer experience with prompt and courteous customer support! This makes me a happy (and loyal) customer and is definitely in the spirit of what The Shop Foward stands for!
I have full respect for what they do. But if I'm going to pay $30 for t-shirt I'd rather buy a high quality shirt and send $30 to the charity of my choice instead.
I was DYING for the "Pimpin' Joy" camo shirt that the Bobby Bones Show promotes to fund their charities. The shirt came and went on the website so quickly I couldn't get one. Finally they became available again recently and I snagged one. I was really kind of nauseous about spending $30 on a t-shirt, but I kept reminding myself the money goes to a good cause, so just let it go.
It arrived yesterday (quick shipping, only a few business days after ordering, during the holiday season, so that's good.) It IS buttery soft. But it's completely see through. And I ordered a men's. I'm used to women's clothing being ridiculously thin for some reason, but men's shirts are usually heftier.
So, I guess I'll get as much wear out of it as I can, wash it gently with other soft clothing with no snaps or buttons, and just hope for the best. And in the future I'll just donate to charity directly.
**Note in the picture I'm simply holding the shirt up, not stretching it at all.
Tip for consumers:
Items are thin, quality is sketchy. But proceeds go to a good cause.
Products used:
Mens t-shirt, Large.
