I have used the cam only briefly so far, my observation is that it's delivering images of excellent quality - comparable to DSLR quality. In particular, I'm very impressed with its low light performance - I think it outperforms some of the DSLRs pics. Portability is the key advantage here; it's smaller than a typical smartphone of these days, except in terms of thickness.
