I came across Mark at the History Bunker a couple of months back asking if he could reproduce the same leather jacket that was used by panzer ace Michael Wittmann, working off nothing but old black and white photos he took on the job, just received to my home in Thailand, shipped via FedEx, carefully packed, opened it up to find the most awesome reproduction of the same jacket, every detail in place, very fine high quality leather used, with beautiful stitching throughout, this is not just a movie prop or for something that's used once in a blue moon for re enactments it's a quality jacket, that if treated well will last a life time.
Thanks again Mark, great doing business with you, reasonable price, good feed back throughout the waiting period, photos sent on completion, total follow up from leaving the bunker to arriving in my home.

Immediately after a great purchase of a Pointe-du-Hoc WW2 road sign from the History Bunker, I ordered 3 more!

2 Carentan's and 1 Dachau sign - PERFECT! Totally convincing "vintage/battle scarred signs. Again, exceeded expectations (although I did know I was getting more great items!) Also, super 100% authentic RAF door signs, love my Bomber Command and Interrogation Room signs. If anyone is thinking of purchasing any of these signs, I can say that there is no reason to hesitate. One of the most satisfying and best bargain militaria purchases ever! Also, wonderfully reasonable shipping prices, thanks for that! I wish there was a 10 star option!

I'd like to start off by saying that as a historical re-enactor, historical accuracy is paramount. It has been quite a disappointing experience with other companies, for they did not provide the same level of accuracy as the History Bunker.

As a first time customer with the History Bunker, I was quite unsure if I would receive the kind of product quality that other companies have failed to provide. I must say now, that I was thoroughly pleased with the end result. The uniforms are absolutely affordable and yet made with the utmost attention to details in terms of historical accuracy. Medals are made so well that those unknowing will think of them as originals. The uniforms are made as though manufactured during their time. All insignias and patches are attached by them so that I won't get to ruin it by having to sew them on myself, for I am downright terrible at such things. (In fact, I can even ruin my clothes when I try to sew a button back on.)

Customer service is another extraordinary experience on its own. They definitely do pay attention to my requests in terms of uniform insignias and the like. Delivery falls to FedEx and nobody can ask for a more efficient way to go about it. Replies to queries are swift and on point.

They are human and do make mistakes from time to time, but nothing that will ruin anybody's experience. So in conclusion, I must be honest and say that the History Bunker will be my sole source of replica uniforms and militaria. I highly recommend all to look to this amazing company for all your historical reenactment needs.

I recently purchased a full length double-breasted leather German officer's greatcoat and I cannot say enough good things about my experience with The History Bunker. I worked with Mark who took the time and trouble to do a little back and forth with me to insure I was giving him my correct sizes, including sleeve length. My coat is an absolute work of art and I cannot say enough good things about Mark and The History Bunker. The quality of their workmanship is rivaled only by their attention to detail and the historical accuracy of their product. I live in Brazil. I had absolutely no physical contact with THB products but I had Mark, a gentleman who gave his help on a step-by-step guide, measure, payment, delivery with quick response to all my questions.
I now have my beautiful leather jacket. Absolutely beautiful, outstanding quality. I am honestly impressed by this product being sold at this price.
Will definitely buy THB products again, hopefully in person next time.

Myself and a colleague recently contacted Mark to see if, with a change of braid colour, they could produce NZ Mounted Rifles uniforms instead of just NZ Infantry. Needless to say THB were more than up to the challenge and I'm now a very happily kitted out NZMR trooper. Communication was clear and regular, the product quality is No 1 and delivery to New Zealand was fast and not overly expensive. I would most definitely buy from them again.

There's no better place to get a leather jacket on Earth. The stitching is impeccable. The leather doesn't get much better. This is something you would see at Bergdorff's or Neiman Marcus for upwards of $2000. In New York, finding a men's leather jacket of this quality, at the price I paid, is quite impossible. To find a comparable custom tailored jacket in NY at that price is absolute fantasy. When I put on the jacket the first time I was absolutely stunned at how perfectly it fit. The craftsmanship superseded all of my expectations. You can't go wrong with The History Bunker.

I work as a skipper and I was looking for a long enough leather jacket to protect the legs from the wind and heavy rain in particular when I am at the harbour. I contacted Mark by email and asked him if it would be possible to order a special tailor made grey U-boat leather deck jacket 6 or 7 inches longer than the jacket currently sold by The History Bunker and to add a piece of leather to close the collar to keep out the wind and rain, an additional inside pocket and elasticated inner cuffs. Mark answered me an hour later that it was possible. I thus ordered my tailor made grey U-boat Kriegsmarine leather Deck jacket and also a tailor made grey U-boat Kriegsmarine leather trousers. The quality of the items is excellent. The deck jacket and the leather trousers are waterproof and very comfortable. I'm extremely pleased with these two items. Thanks to Mark and to his colleagues for their work.
