I never ordered a tailored coat before and had no idea on how long it would take and everytime i would inquire about my order i would promptly receive a email on the status of my order from mark when i recived my coat it was above and beyond what i expected absolutely beautifully made coat that fits like a glove i cant say enough about it but if you want a authentic replica of a Gestapo leather great coat look no further than the History Bunker

My father was a pilot in WW1 and I have many fond memories of him telling me flying stories, I have several photos of him in his flying togs and I have been looking for years for a real WW1 RFC pilot leather overcoat to match the one in those photos. Never found one. When I saw the ad for a newly made one I thought I would order one - it is great. Just like the photo. Leather quality is great. The company took pains to be sure it was the right size.

I bought a complete set of the British ww1 officer tailor made uniform and coundn't be happier of both the quality and the customer support.
My trouser needed to be exchange because of an error on my part and everything ran smoothly from the first contact with mark to the delivery. Because of the niche nature of the market it is hard to find a good address that delivers quality and customizability.

I must say, despite at first having slight doibt I was proven wrong in a heart beat. I ordered a German Tunic from WW1 and thinking that it would take at least a week to get to California all the way from The UK I was settling to wait until next week. 3 days later, boom, it was here and all ready. I absolutely love it and I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a uniform to reenact or simply for collection purposes. Great website, I absolutely love it! Will buy from here again!

My one and only regret in ordering from this company is that I will never get to meet Mark, shake his hand, and properly thank him for delivering the best quality service and the best quality product humanly possible. It's a shame to do business on a custom, tailor-made product via email and never get to fully express one's appreciation. Mark was attentive to our every question as if he was right down the street. Moreover, his expertise allowed us to order the exact sizing we needed, thereby preventing a return. Because we live "across the pond," this attention to detail was invaluable. The quality and workmanship of the product is A++ and you will be, as the rest of us are, astonished should you choose to place an order. I thought that I would say a few words on this purchase.
I live in Australia so all communication with The History Bunker was via e-mail only, and at no time was I uncomfortable with this purchase, the professionalism from Mark to the seamstress's is clearly evident from the workmanship of the uniform which fits extremely well, The delivery of the uniform was though a well known company (DHL) so there was little chance of the package going missing in the mail.
Over all I would highly recommend The History Bunker to anyone who is looking either for reenactment uniforms or show pieces. From Adam.

I ordered both the WW2 German Army (Heer) Officer and the WW2 German Army uniform packages. Both uniforms are absolutely downright amazing, and I love them. The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. They were very helpful when I needed to exchange an item, and responded to my emails the same day; this is a commodity that I rarely find. Overall, The History Bunker is an amazing company that has not disappointed in any way, and I cant stop looking at those uniforms I got. Im giving them five stars.

Myself and a colleague recently contacted Mark to see if, with a change of braid colour, they could produce NZ Mounted Rifles uniforms instead of just NZ Infantry. Needless to say THB were more than up to the challenge and I'm now a very happily kitted out NZMR trooper. Communication was clear and regular, the product quality is No 1 and delivery to New Zealand was fast and not overly expensive. I would most definitely buy from them again.

Received my leather u-boat pants yesterday afternoon. Perfect! Great fit. Can't say enough good things about them. Can't wait to show them off. Worth the wait.
