This really helped with our move to a new apartment. Organize everything! Gary was especially hellpful in explaining the permutations of the infinite varieties of Elfa storage.
I bought $900 worth of closet organizing and other items from The Container Store, online. The packaging was all cardboard with crumpled brown paper filler... so much, that it took me three (3) trips to the recycling center to get rid of it all. I mean, not one smaller item was placed inside a larger one... such a terrible waste of packaging! Anyway, the items were good, some great... but some cheap plastic boxes arrived damaged. It took several emails to TCS, only to receive an an auto response demanding that I take photos of the items that were damaged. Mind you, these clear plastic lids probably cost 5 cents for them to manufacture. Anyway, there was no personal correspondence from TCS back to me, and they took it upon themselves to replace the entire plastic boxes, apparently... according to the email notification I just received from them entitled "Thank you for your order!". I really did not want the entire plastic boxes, just the replacement lids! So, looks like I will have to cut up yet more cardboard and make another run to the recycling center. Anyway, I wish that TCS online company would train their Customer Service to treat their own customers in a more personalized manner. I doubt I will shop with them again, because of this. - so many stores sell similar items, I'd rather support companies who treat me with basic respect and courtesy.
I bought an expandable under the counter organizer from the container store. I had been trying to find something that would fit around my garburator and pipes. It took forever for this to arrive and I really should have thought more than twice because it is shipped from the US and with the conversion to CAD plus hefty shipping it was really expensive. I wouldn't have minded if I had an option to return it if it didn't work but that option isn't readily obvious and I'm sure the shipping alone would make it not worth it. I tried to post a review on their website as people should realize this if ordering because they make it seem easy. "International shipping available." Never easy crossing borders. Anyway, they refused my review. I guess they only allow positive reviews.
I thought I had measured carefully and this seemed like it was really versatile but it isn't going to work at all. It does not fit around the garburator and pipes so be really careful to measure everything. The material is also kind of cheap. It wouldn't be a big deal if I could return to Amazon or something but this cost $90 when converted from USD to CAD and took so long to get here and had to get across the border. The international shipping makes it far too expensive with no hope of returning it. Never again. I will stick to Amazon.

Only order if it's not international shipping.
