So many calls unanswered & no return calls in the past 6 months. I paid extra for expedited service too. Save your money, this place is a rip-off!
I decided to purchase a flexible partial with 2 add on teeth. The order process went smooth and was timely. Although I did pay for expedited shipping after I was told my order could take up to 3 additional weeks. When I received the partial, I tried in on and it did not fit properly...talked with a lisp as a result. Immediately took out the partial and contacted CS 2 days in a row. Normally the CS was timely and responsive...now all of a sudden crickets... I waited a week before submitting a dispute with my credit card company. Ironically, 2 months later I receive 2 review requests of their product. I didn't respond as I was in the process of disputing this charge because they never responded to my 2 attempts to reach out DIRECTLY to the CS. I find it a bit dubious that all of a sudden they send me 2 review inquiries but never respond directly to me regarding the information that I already sent saying the product did not work/fit properly.
Here is the return policy, which seems a wonky. How can you know if the product doesn't fit if you don't try it on?

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be returned in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused, with top and bottom dental stone models and in its original packaging. At any rate, this started off as a decent experience and now has become a terribly bad experience.
Turn around time is 40 days at best but only if you ask over and over and that is with the rush processing. The company produces subpar products. They also know that the products that they are producing may cause damage to your mouth. I had to clear guard make a partial then I went to the dentist with said partial. The dentist said that the partial would ruin the teeth adjoining the partial and the gum tissue because it was ill fitting and made improperly. I contacted the clear guard, they said they would adjust it. After waiting for so long for the partial, I was concerned about the length of time it would take for the adjustment. I was assured that it would only take three days maximum. After two weeks, they said they had to reproduce it. I told them just to refund it. Communication throughout the entire process was horrible. Most of the communication that they offered was misleading in order to get you to buy something. When I asked for the refund, they gave me 1/3 of what I paid. I paid for rush processing which they did not do and I paid for a partial that did not fit. Yoiu will be unsatisfied at best with your order, never order from this company. What you'll get will be a paper weight!
This just doesn't work. It still has too much play between the top and bottom pieces and it doesn't put my lower jaw forward enough to help me sleep. Total waste of over $400. Very disappointed. Additionally, the guarantee doesn't cover the mouthpiece so I can't even get my money back. That was misleading.
It does seem to help to a degree, however even using the shortest bands apparently supplied by clear guard, my lower jaw is not extended as far as when I used my last device made by a dentist - and I can tell if doesn't work as well due to this. (Confirmed using my overnight pulse ox). By my estimation, if they had a band 1/2 to 3/4 size of smallest it would do the trick. Mine has also cracked only after a few weeks.
The Silent Nite I ordered has an excellent fit and definitely works (I use the 21mm connectors). The Clear Guard team worked closely with me after my first impression failed; they sent me everything to make another impression which turned out fine. I'm so impressed by the device that I ordered a backup as I can't imagine sleeping one night without it. All in all excellent service and craftsmanship---you won't be disappointed!
I got an upper night guard with a little discount for 72$, which is super cheap for night guards and I didn't expect much. I had an old night guard made by my dentist which didn't really fit anymore, and a new night guard at the dentist would have costed 400$ or so, so I rather tried this company. The dental impressions were easy to make, I shipped them back to the company and received my night guard some weeks later. It fits very well except that I find it a little weird that the plastic is reaching my palate at one side. But that doesn't disturb me, so I really have to say that I'm positively surprised by the night guard. I see that reviews for their other products are not so great, but this night guard I can recommend. Hope this helps anyone.
Order partial denture in feb, bottom impression had to be redone ordered new impression kit store never responded back once I needed a new tray size every other week will respond will oh sorry how can I help you with no resolution it is now may, contacted bank for chargeback and got it! What an absolute joke I paid extra for expedited shipping and still waited several days to receive my order. Once the order came there weren't enough impression trays for both my daughter and I to complete our orders. They requested that we share the same trays (since when does any legit medical request this?!) even though I mailed hers back IN the tray as instructed.
Following this I went back-and-forth with the company who was very delayed in responding to my emails and could never justify the lack of follow up or the inaccurate order fulfillment.
I requested a full refund and they kept $35 without justification.
Trash company. Look elsewhere.
After so many communications, I was not able to receive the product. I called, spoke to Michael over the phone and emailed back and forth so many times. Their internal communication is a mess. Please give my money back!
The clear guard has awful customer service. I ordered a night guard kit on Nov 2nd, submitted it back to them within 5 days. After a month of continuous messaging they finally replied and said the mold wasn't the best but they could clean it up and send it off. I asked them to clean them up and ship to me on Dec 1st. As of Dec 13th I still have not received them.
I order partial for my upper front teeth. It came back fast and the most important the fit is perfect. Thank you Clear Guard
There is bad customer service and then there is bad people. The people running this company are just bad people. They don't care at all about anyone and randomly change policies, terms, shipping estimates, processing times and whatever else conveniences them on their website at whim. Like one day it'll say one thing then another. TAKE SCREENSHOTS OF THE TERMS IF YOU DARE TO GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!
Horrendous customer service. They have a ghost number they never answer and just text you whenever they feel like it even for the most basic questions. Then fail to give you critical information about overnight shipping timing then act like oh well. They just don't care about people. Not sure how else to explain it.

Honestly, I placed my order for 2 retainers, one upper and one lower. Only after I placed my order did I come across this website with reviews. Their website it nice and the prices are very good compared to going to the dentist. The impression taking was not hard as I did both on my first try. As the company requests, I emailed 2 photos of my impressions for review. The videos are helpful and easy to follow. My emails were responded to in about 2 hours and they gave me the green light to ship my impressions back for free using the pre-paid return labels.
I did not rush my order, but felt I should have for only $25 more. I received my clear retainers about 5 days later and they fit really good. The edges were smooth and they snapped into place over my teeth.
It is unfortunate others had a different experience, but I can tell you mine was very good. Again, I waited to get my retainers before I left a review on this site. Sites like this can be misleading and people just want to bury a company at any chance they get. I will try to post photos of my retainers. I would recommend this company and products to anyone who is looking for a do it yourself approach to retainers.
I would give more stars... To start, I had noticed a significant increase in my quality of sleep after using this for two days. I'm going to make this review as honest as possible, so others will know what they will get.
On the first night, I had difficulties falling and staying asleep as my lower jaw was not used to the overnight tension of being pushed forward for 8 hours. I recalled waking up with a bad headache, something that never happened to me before. I didn't much sleep that night, but I decided to stick with it and hopefully get used to it in a week.
After the second night, I woke up feeling refreshed. I had gotten accustomed to the tension and had no headaches. I recalled waking up and not feeling as if I need to sleep in any longer. For once in my life I woke up well rested. I had forgotten what mental clarity feels like until I woke up with the silent night guard.
P.S. For those who are curious, I am currently a college student in my senior year. I had been suffering from Sleep Apnea since high school. I developed sleep apnea as I grew older. My tongue was to blame as it was growing larger. This product created more room in my mouth for my tongue to rest on and prevented it from blocking my airway when I sleep. I hope this trend continues, but other than that I am happy with this service! :)
I wish I had researched more thoroughly before I settled on this company for my retainers. Beware they only send you one set of putty so if you screw up you have to spend another $9 for more putty. Other companies give 3 sets of putty and they are less expensive. I had taken my impressions for the upper and lower teeth and received an email saying my impression for the upper wasn't good enough but that I would have to purchase another kit. For $284.80 for two sets, they should include more putty. I emailed them asking for a refund and was offered a "complimentary kit" to try again. I was away on a camping trip and didnt respond immediately because I had no service (in the woods). When I got back, I saw that they had sent me lower retainers anyway without my response. Then, they refunded me $244 after I said I didn't want them. According to them, the lower retainers were a "free gift". Guess what? They are loose anyway! They don't even fit. Free? No. I lost $40 for subpar work anyway. Do yourself a favor and do thorough research BEFORE settling on this company.
On August 5,2023, they shipped my devices to me via USPS. On August 17, I had not received them yet, so checked the USPS website tracking only to see that they were last reported as in transit on August 9. I contacted Clear Guard to let them know that the devices were likely lost in the mail. They responded quickly to let me know that they will arrive later than expected, but there's nothing to do other than wait. So, I waited. I waited another 11 days. There is still no tracking update on USPS, so I reach out to Clear Guard to let them know. I even opened a case with the USPS to see if they could locate the lost package, however the USPS had no further information. I emailed Clear Guard on August 28 to let them know that the package was likely lost, and that I opened a case with the USPS which resulted in nothing. I requested to Clear Guard that they file a claim with the USPS for the lost package and send me new devices. They did not respond, so I followed up with on August 30 when they did respond and let me know that they'd get back to me by the end of the day. This was the last I was ever to hear from Clear Guard. They just stopped responding at this point. I followed up on September 6 and September 7, but I got no response from them. It is now September 23 and they're asking me to review their product. The only that I still have not received.
Be careful using this company. I placed an order on their website. After I entered my credit card and placed my order, their website said my credit card was declined. I called the company to ask why I was declined but I could not reach anyone until the next day. The next day the representative suggested that I try again and use PayPal, which I did.
My supposed "declined" transaction of the initial order was not really declined. The company got my money, charged my initial credit card, but did not send out the product to me.
My second order that I placed the next day through PayPal went through and I was double billed and mailed one plastic equipment set to take dental impressions
Instead of accepting my impressions as the company says it will on its website, I was later told to take photos of the impressions and send the photos to the company. I did that but was told the impression was not good and to do it again. I did it again but was again told it was not good.
The company website says the company is a "full service dental laboratory."
I do not know of any full service dental lab that requires a patient to take their own impressions and send the photos ro the lab for pre-approval.
I later talked with the owner and he said he would refund my money including the amount he charged for the plastic molds and mailing.
He refunded only the full amount of the first double billing and kept a portion of the second billing that I paid through PayPal. Like I said, be careful using this company.

Poor customer service. They will only reply fast if you are in the process of buying their product. Once you get your product, they will take weeks to email back to help you troubleshoot your problems. Even if you try calling them after you get your product, they will purposely dodge your calls.
This company does not allow you to directly talk to their engineers/dentists, instead they will direct you to their unprofessional customer service who all sound like they hate their job and sleep deprived. Most of them barely know English and any technical details about the products they're selling.
