“Great Provider of Android devices & Services”

I've been dealing with the Boxxmen & Jeff Jones going on 5 years. I've purchased several devices including Freestream, Octastream and my favorite the Superbox. Although we have had minor skirmishes in the past, I find Mr. Jones a fair and honest broker. You may not always agree with him but he is a straight shooter. When there is a problem he offers alternatives... and his support Team is top notch. I would highly recommend Jeff, his products and his service.

“The Boxxmen may look like a good company, but it not!”

If you are thinking about buying a streaming box from the Boxxmen, you should read this first. The Boxxmen may look like a good company and their products may seem like a good deal, but they are not. I ordered an ezboxx a few months back and at first everything was great, so I ordered an ezboxx lite for the basement tv. The ezboxx came with live TV and 2 VOD sources (pop corn, Tsunami). The ezboxx lite came with live TV and Tsunami. On July 3rd I noticed that Tsunami was giving me an error and could not be opened. Got on Facebook page (the companies preferred way of getting IT help) and was told it was down and they did not know when it would be available again. I had only had the units a few weeks and I am thinking, what is going on, I just lost the only VOD to the ezboxx lite and the better of the 2 VODs for the ezboxx. Well after a few days they said that they are working on a fix (update) to take care of the problem. Then the update rolled out and several people said that they did the update and now there box won't work at all. So I asked the owner Jeff Jones via text if I should do the update and he said not to do it, because it is possible it would make things worse. So after several more days, I called Jeff if the update is ready and with a major attitude said yes, update and restart, then he told me that if I wasn't happy with the way things worked I could return all for a refund. Well after cancelling my cable and going through all of this I figured I would let it ride and hope things worked from now on. Anyway I did the update and I noticed right away that all of my history for my save tv channels, my favorite movies and watched history was gone. So I asked FB why did I lose everything and was told that sometimes that happens on an update. A couple of weeks later I notice that there was another update, so against my better judgement I did the update and of course all of my history is gone again, plus Tsunami is also been replaces with "Locker Room". Tsunami had most of the shows that I wanted to watch on it so I asked the Facebook page admins what I had to do to get it back and was told "you don't". So I asked why and was told "it is just a name", what the hell does that mean. So I tried to open Locker Room and it would not open. I then text Jeff Jones and asked how do I get into "Foot Locker" and he said that if I had an active account I could get in. I have only had these units 6 weeks and paid for a full year, so of course it was active. I gave him my units, ID and he looked it up and said that it should work and to try again, so I did and it worked. I looked through the movies and TV shows and it didn't look the same as Tsunami and I could not find some shows that I was watching before the change, so I felt like that was a bad deal for me. Then I get a text from Jeff telling me to "Just learn my unit because you will never be getting me again. I am going off the grid. You will have to use FB or not get any help." How unprofessional can you get. Then less than week later, I tried to watch the Ezboxx lite and it said that I had 2 updates, thinking they were the same updates that I just did for my Ezboxx I did the updates. Of course my history for everything was gone again, but to top it off, I no longer have Tsunami or it's replacement "Locker room" either. Again I asked how to fix the problem on FB and was told "the lite will not have those only Ezboxx unit, which I replied that I had it from the beginning and that is the reason I bought the lite, because I only need one VOD. Their reply was it was a bonus on the lite units and will no longer be available. So they sold me a unit that had Tsunami not telling me that it was a sold called bonus item, then they took it away, so now I only have live tv. Then they said that I could purchase different VOD from Jeff if I wanted too. I feel that when I purchase an item and it comes with certain software and IT help for a year, I expect nothing to change for a year and if it does, it is replaces with a least and equal item. When things work, all is fine, but this service is not reliable and the IT support is a joke. Oh by the way when I called them out on FB about this, they deleted the string, so know one else could see it. The only comments they show on their FB page are the ones that have people kissing Jeff's $#*! and I just can't do that. If the deal seems to good, it probably is. Avoid, unless you feel lucky
