Tesco Bank

Took out a Tesco credit card as it was one of the few cards where you can get rewards (clubcard points) for using the card.
I accidentally went over the credit limit by a couple of quid - which is not a limit if you can exceed it in my opinion - and they whacked on a 12 quid fee. Spoke to customer services who were not willing to budge and just said you can login online and set up alerts to text you when you are reaching your credit limit, I asked why this isn't set up by default and was told 'People don't like to receive these messages so you have to explicitly allow them'. What a load of tosh, who would complain that they received a message warning them they are about to be charged for exceeding the limit. Put the phone down in disgust.
