How many times do we face frustration when support staff keeps on sending back automated responses that neither solve the problems nor give any clue. Not so with Template Monster Tech Support, whom I find have always responded with more than expected a help...Thank you Daniel Dawson

TemplateMonster are a pack of fraudsters. I paid $199 for the template customization service, and after 3 months and many attempts asking them to complete my work (with clear instructions), all they have done is load a logo I supplied them (and even that took 3 attempts to get correct in wordpress). Stay clear of these people, especially templates from DREAMIT. I raised a dispute for a refund, and templateMonster refused. Hopefully, PayPal can assist to retrieve the amount i paid, as I will show all evidence, emails and communication from TemplateMonster. I quote *. The company processed a refund so I'm good with them. They also gave me an offer for my trouble but I did not accept it after all the headaches.

Tip for consumers:
Purchase at your own risk, you may need to spend hours fixing your website if their theme takes it down, and don't expect a prompt and courteous refund if your website server configuration is not compatible with one of their themes.

Jace quite quickly gave us answers to all our questions. But after that spent a few times more time trying to provide more help than we ever asked for, I don't know why... maybe some kind of a provision system I suspect? I had to try and end the conversation for quite some time.

They managed to fix the issue but it definitely took some time and I kept getting passed around to different tech agents when I initially had the issue (and contact support). The amount of times I had to repeat my issue to a new agent and constantly being moved around was a little frustrating.

This is the update: 2 weeks after I got that infamous phone call, I got another call yesterday from the same guy that tried to blackmail, who I nearly hung up on when I found out who it was, but this time he called to apologize and offer me $100 credit on their site and free hosting for a year. Based on what I had to do to get this, it kinda left a bitter taste in my mouth. Although, I have to give it to them, they didn't mention or suggest this time around that I take my reviews down. I really would have lost it if they tried that crap again. Don't get me wrong, I'm still pissed about what happened but, not that many companies offer compensation or even give a crap, but in saying that I would have preferred they do this earlier when I told them the problems I've had and asked many times for that refund. My final review to those that are thinking of getting a template from these guys is that, it is really just going to be the luck of the draw on some of these templates. I've bought 2 templates now from these guys and the first time went pretty smoothly with not much hassle but that was for my magento 1 where the code was quite a bit less complicated from what I understand and this time was the upgraded 2 called Ketty Fashion template.
I've looked up some of the elements on the template and it has a crap tonne of nice extras, It will take a few weeks for me to go through them and the customization ability is impressive but you'll need a few days of messing around with it to understand the full scope of what you can do. I'm no way taking away the focus of the glitches that I've experienced and that the techs at siteground has informed me about but I've looked at the cost of how much some of these functionalities cost on its own and it's pretty impressive they charged me $179 for this, and I've done my homework with companies like spotify, Volusion and a tonne of others all charge an arm and a leg. If you have a good financial backing for a website, then those I think are a good choice since its easier and less hastle but I wanted it all, a versatile website with costs that won't break my bank. Do your homework and if you decide to get a template from these guys, make sure you pay with Paypal, cause if something goes wrong, those guys have your back and you won't have lost everything, just your time.

They are not only incompetent, they tried to extort me today in exchange for taking my review down!

A few days after posting a negative review based on the fact that they took 4 days attempting to install a template that they sold me and then gave up on, which is until I wrote this review, I got a phone call from template monsters a week later, asking if they could exchange the refund for another service or keep it in credit which I respectfully declined and asked them for the refund which they reluctantly offered, but a week went by without a word or refund. Then I got a call again today telling me that they would only refund us if I took down the review. I told them it was extortion and they didn't disagree. Instead they implied that it would be hard to refund if I didn't take the review down. I thought they were just incompetent but now their also criminally negligible. I am still fighting to get my refund back and I have their conversation on a recording app I installed on my phone, and for legal reason have indicated to them that it was being recorded. I will keep this if legal charges need to be brought up.

Beware! Don't buy their install services. All are Amateurs and only help you until they have your mo

Very dissapointing. I use to like these guys, the templates seemed ok but the service is the worst. After I bought a template, they kept insisting that I get an install from a professional so I wouldn't have to worry and they said they would take care of everything. I even asked if their was any guarantees and after assuring me that it would only take a 3 to 24 hours I paid the, U. S $99. I have wasted hours with them on chat with the siteground hosting company to try and install the template. They had no idea what was going on. I kept getting transfered between techs and they blamed it on everyone else but themselves. Even the techs at both bluehost and siteground thought they were very unskilled to be having so much trouble with simple tasks. Now, its been 4 days with no progress..
