Very happy with the rod purchase. With the current covid situation, my order was shipped within 24 hours. I also had placed another order for two rods, and one of them was out of stock. A tackle direct representative contacted me about the specific rod I ordered to tell me the rod was on backorder, and that I could either wait for it l, or go with a similar product. Outstanding customer service when they reach out the way they did. I highly recommend ordering from tackle direct!
Understandably, during this Virus panic there have been some hiccups in the ordering process. Once I was able to get in touch with a customer service rep everything was quickly resolved. The products have arrived and I'm ready to hit the water with some new Patrick Sebile Lures! I can't wait. Thank you Team TackleDirect!
Shipping? Was very good. My concern is ordering the bulb type butt for my rods. I was concerned if the Bass Pro choice would float my rod and reel if it was bumped in the water. Talking to someone with your firm I wasn't convinced he was really sure it would. I ordered 12 and hope they do.
The reason I ordered from Tackle Direct was because the product I ordered appeared to be in stock. After I placed the order I then was made aware the product was out of stock. Customer service was slow getting back to me when checking order status and it took a long time to get order. I do however appreciate getting at a fair price.
I don't understand why I was charged a shipping fee with an almost $500 order and was charged an $8.00 fee for the rod shipping in addition to that. I started out with the order from an e-mail that said free shipping on orders over $199.00. I went ahead and paid it anyway.
I had to email about the UPS delivery information. I didn't get a response until after I received my order. UPS had indicated that they were delivering to my billing address, when in fact it did come to my shipping address.
When I make purchases they send it to me in parts. The shipments by parts I do not have to see that they are sending only until they deliver it to me. The website is not updated with partial submissions. When I have written to them to know when they will send the missing articles, they do not respond. I have received a bad after sales service which makes me hesitate to make another purchase with you, the truth is I am very dissatisfied with your service.
Terrible customer service sent five emails and no one answered. I called all the available phone number and no answer. Finally I had to drive 2 and a half hours to the store to return a product after 27 days of no answer
Charged me for 12 packages sent 9 packages tried to call. Was told to send e-mail. Sent e-mail never heard back. Sent pictures of packages received picture of invoice. Nothing. Terrible service, and a rip off
It would be nice if in the order history it didn't say that items that have not been shipped due to being on back order have already shipped with the rest of the order. If possible give approximate dates when back ordered items will ship.
Selection is easy and shipping was quick but the quality of the hat received...It's gotta go back! However the price was so low on it, maybe I got what I paid for, but I thought I was getting a bargain, not a low quality item.
I recommend that you create a method to track order status before items are shipped.
My initial order was for three items. One item was sent and the order for the other two were cancelled. I was not notified that the order for the other two items was cancelled. I only figured it out because your email ad spam kept recommending that I buy one of the items that was cancelled. I used the chat function on your website to discuss this issue and it was rectified immediately.

Nice product but it take near 3 months before I see my order ( order march 13 2019). It was supposed to be ship between 3 and 10 days on the site but they have problem with the order stock so I try to cancell my order 2 time without answer just a e-mail telling me my order was on the way in may of april and I finnaly received it june 05 2019. The product itself if ok :) but be aware if it's not in stock it could take long time
TD has great prices and is easy to work with when something's not right. I purchased a new rod & reel and several other things.
Everything arrived quickly but my new reel was missing the handle. I sent them an email, they sent me a label to return the reel and my new reel with handle arrived a few days later.

Great website with a responsive and knowledgeable team. I only hope that they will add on more Japanese Market items like Yamaga Blanks or Zenaq rods and Japanese jigs. Aside from that, great selection of stock.
Product had too long of a tail. Tail should end at last treble hook. This caused short strikes from barracuda because they attack lure from the rear. They are used to prey escaping. Like needlefish.

Received delivery of fishing rods. Was poorly packaged, 1 rod was damaged during shipment, or when it was packed. Took almost 2 weeks and multiple emails and did not get a response for a exchange. Had to go to Facebook book messenger to get a reply to get a replacement rod shipped. Still have not received replacement
I have not received my order. Its been over 6 weeks. I have sent numerous emails to tackle direct and no response. The phone number does not have anyone answering it. The recording just tells ypu to email them.
Answer: Yes, other companies I have used for online purchases are much better with communications and customer service.
