T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

A few years ago, I purchased a t mobile plan because they had a free phone on offer that I could give my son. But the plan was significantly more expensive than my previous carrier and when I realised it, I returned the free phone. I cancelled the plan and I received a email cancellation. T mobile continued to charge me a monthly amount and I called, I went to three t mobile stores in person and I emailed. I did not pay on a plan that was canceled. When the amount owing became $582.00 Tmobile stopped the plan and sent me to a collection agency. I have been harassed by the collection agency and they continually reusubmit the bill to the FICA and therefore the 7 years does not count. They are very evil. I do not have any collections except for Tmobile. I will not pay what I do not owe...and I am sorry I ever signed up with Tmobile..
T-mobile is selling lies what we were told didn't take place. Never again will I deal with them. I rather get a Walmart ph.
I use to be a Metro customer due to store closing in our area we were FORCED TO SWITCH TO TMOBILE. I've never had so many lagging issues with my cell phone service u til we forcibly were switched. DO NOT GET TMOBILE YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED.
The service was not very good and when we tried switching to another provider things got worse. The service we received was beyond bad. I would not recommend T Mobile to anyone. They have locked our phones and at this point it is taking more than a week to switch providers without costing a fortune. This company is ridiculous.
When a website has no function to give them feedback, you know they really don't want to help you. There are numbers to call them--if you want to talk to a computer for 5 minutes before getting through to a human. I try to avoid interacting with T-Mobile because the website is so poorly designed--it took two days to update my credit card info.
We had T Mobile service in Pennsylvania with no problems, however when we moved to Sussex County Delaware October 2021 we have had nothing biut problems my wife phone could not make it receive calls call I made were constantly dropped and our service was expensive
We had to get a land line
My advice stay away from T Mobile
T Mobile is just awful...Terrible Service! Phone does not work in Buildings! Internet goes out Daily! Worst 2 years of my Life! I have Verizon at the same Price! Thank God
Initial visit was good, but the system was down so we could not pay. When we returned...the girl could not been more annoyed that we interupted her doing nothing! She sold us the wrong SIM card, did not set it up properly. We cancelled the card within 3 hours, after we realized that it was not what we needed. CSR was great on the phone. No problem cancelling it and a refund was issued. To make a very long story short that was in March, its now May and I still don't have the refund! They keep apologizing and making promises...you will see your refund in 3-5 days. I do not encourage anyone to use T-Mobile.
On approx. Day 10, I called the Mgr back since he did not call be as promised. I guess he doesn't like to give bad news to his customers. No I am not getting my, rightfully deserved, money back. I I guess I am going to have to eat the $50.00. I have a long memory.
After 20 years at At&t I just brought 5 phone lines and 2 watches over to T-mobile. "We'll pay off your old phones"- bait and switch. "We'll credit $150 for bringing in the watches"- bait and switch. "We have internet available at your address"- bait and switch. "We'll pay up to $500 for your trade in"- scam/ bait and switch. The number of times and number of hours spent calling customer service, starting over, submitting receipts, and clicking broken email/ text links is absolutely unreal. 2 watch lines still don't work and I am dreading calling back- I've already held and spoken to them twice for this. They made good on NONE of their promotional offers. My family has been robbed.
I do not have an account with tmobile. However, I'm being charged on my cc monthly. Customer service is not in usa. They won't let you speak to the fraud dept. There is no way to resolve. They refused to close the account that was set up by a fraudster that has my ss#. I recommend folks stay clear of tmobile. They took 417.00 so far and the meter is still running.
They say and promise everything to get you to switch and then once you do they raise the prices in ways you cannot argue. Very bait and switch. Service is not even that good. Sad!
Spoke with Deona, she was absolutely wonderful. She solved all my problems. Informed me of my iPhone serial number because my I watch doesn't come on at all and she even offered me an upgrade on both devices very personable and friendly girl. Thank you.
My brother has been diagnosed with dementia and can't recall his PIN number. As his POA, I am not allowed to have access to his account without his pin. I tried to move to another carrier for him, and T-Mobile has his account locked even tho his phone is paid off and he owes no money for his account. They have the most unreasonable guidelines I have ever seen. I have never seen anyone like them in my life!
Switched to T-Mobile after paying off my $1000 iPhone that I had with AT&T because of their buyout program. T-Mobile was cheaper monthly but after six months of being lied to and hours on the phone I never got my prepaid Visa card for paying off my phone Through AT&T. I canceled my T-Mobile account and didn't mind paying extra with AT&T because they never lie. I wish there was a way to gather enough people to file a huge lawsuit against these people, because paying my phone off was a huge financial burden to me all based on a promise that was never delivered shame on T-Mobile, terrible terrible terrible customer service
In the past three months our phone bill which hsd always been $100.00, went yo $180.00, then $188.00, new bill arrived today, $192.00. Was told Bill went up because I made international calls to Belize, ok, and I paid that bill. The past two months their operators are so incompetent they can't give me a legitimate answer as to why my bill hss doubled. Closing account today, never use this company ever.
I have been a Sprint customer since 2000. There were times when there was poor signal but it improved greatly. There were suburban areas where there a little or no service then it improved. I was happy with Sprint. When the T-Mobile/Sprint merger was complete my reception went to near nothing. Places where I had great service there was little. I could use my phone in the office with Sprint, T-Mobile I can't send a text message at times because there is no signal. I thought it was my phone. I work with 3 other people that have T-Mobile and they have the same issue... no service.
Now the customer service staff at the Flowood MS store are great. They are friendly and helpful. They will go above and beyond to help you. They get 5 Stars. However the "servicing the towers" excuse is old. I'm not in the cell tower business I don't know how long it takes to upgrade a tower. However I see a lot of towers and nobody is around them and my signal still sucks. I am considering AT&T or Verizon after 20+ years. T-Mobile needs to get the signal back to Sprint level before the merger or I will have to leave.
Been with T-Mobile for a year and 2 months, very terrible. Since day one i've had nothing but problems as far as billing and etc like if you have a automatic machine then why is it charging more than my normal payments? Every monthly bill is paid on time. Then the service is horrible, they promise the best service even after my first altercation with them... i cannot get service anywhere, i could be on an important phone call regarding work and the call would drop and say the call failed and when i try calling about it they all tell me the same thing, "there's a power outage" and the customer service is a -1... the attitude is a no go. I lost my phone at South Beach (Miami) and they told me when i first purchased my phone i would be covered if anything were to happen, LIES! They said itll be free of charge to replace my phone and i ended up paying almost 700 for a replacement which is ridiculous cause the phone was 400 smh.
Webt in for question about my phone-1 person in store-waited 45 minutes for service, Started to explain my problem and clerk took another person to pay their blii. No excuse me"ignored me just like I was not there!
If ever ther was a rating of NO STARS this worthless excuse of a phone co. Deserves it! A real toilet of a store. WILLOWICK OHIO SHOPPING CENTER ******* DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!
So recently (near the end of Febuary), I was gifted a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. My uncle who had gifted me the phone had my phone on his family line. I was able to pay my bill during Feb, March and April with the fee of $54 USD. Well, not April, due to the carrier adding an extra $40 out of nowhere. Then fastforward to the day before I wrote this review. (23 May, 2023). They are suddenly charging me for the ENTIRE family plan of four lines, racking it up to $264.72 USD. For lines that I do NOT have control of. My line is simply a PART of the family plan, and I wanted to pay MY line and MY LINE ONLY. And then, since it was due yesterday, now today (24 May, 2023) It has doubled to over $450 USD. They SAY that my bill is supposedly only $54 USD, yet I'm slapped with fees for 3 lines I don't control, and some OTHER hidden fees. $264.72 USD JUST to turn my service back on? Ugh.
Along with all of those terrible things...the customer service is ZERO HELP. $10 fee for CUSTOMER SERVICE not being able to help? What?
Overall, a very scummy company. I suggest finding a better carrier/company, even if it's a little more expensive. There is a REASON why T-Mobile seems so cheap. They want you to BELIEVE that right before they begin unfairly taking your money.
Answer: Take the cheapest, clunkiest, most useless data coverage you can imagine. Now imagine it not even working. You pay for something that is USELESS.
Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
