This has been an awful experience and the results were only magnified by the extremely poor quality of product. Not edible. Left a cheap extract taste in your mouth. Every piece tasted the same. Shame on you swiss colony. The tin of christmas hard candy contained a small bag of cheap dollar store candy that identical can be purchased at the Dollar Store for $1. The tin was okay but the bag of candy only filled it a third of the way and the pieces were crushed with absolutely not one piece of ribbon candy. Poor poor customer service. I could go on and on and on but won't waste anymore time until we've sampled the rest
These folks really messed up my Christmas order and were most unhelpful getting it resolved. Ended up doing a charge back on my credit card. My thought is when you see this seller run and don't look back!
I got the coconut cheesecake and I'm so disappointed. It's sickening sweet with a chemical after taste and none of the tang you expect from a standard cheesecake. The texture is more like a custard than cheesecake even after chilling. One of the worst things I've received from this company.
Received two of The Swiss Colony 27 variety pack. (#715) Price w/tax & shipping was over $82. That comes out to $41 per box. The cheese & meats were so small they weren't worth serving to guests. (unless you only had 2 guests) We will never order from this company again.
I bought an item that stated it had free shipping! A week later the product was $8 cheaper. When I called to inquire why, they said the product I shipped was including the shipping charge. So, I really did not get free shipping …did I. Wow. I'm really disappointed in you Swiss colony. That's really manipulative.
My Dad used to order from Swiss Colony every year. This year I placed my first order, and it will be my last. Their customer service is ridiculous. Also, I ordered the fudge liquer balls. In the picture they appear to be quite large. I was thinking we could cut them in half if one was too big. In reality, they are the exact size of marbles. Before they came, I ordered four boxes of Christmas petits fours as gifts for coworkers. They were due by 12/20. I never got them. Had to do some quick last minute shopping. It worked out, though. A local dept. store had Harry and David candy gifts, and they went over big. Coworkers LOVED them. Next year...Harry & David.
When I received my order last year, I noticed that the meats, cheeses, and other items were significantly smaller in size compared to years past. I still got charged the same amount though! The flavors of the soft cheeses were also a bit "off". I wrote a letter to Swiss Colony expressing my concern over this, and explaining that we have been long time customers. I never heard a word back from them. They may be yet another company that are just letting themselves go. What a shame.
Placed order Dec 10 for 5 families and as if the 20th nobody had received. Called CS and the entire order had not been shipped because items were out of stock. Was promised expedited SH so people would get gifts for Christmas but one had still not been delivered after Christmas. Called again and was told the items were never ordered. Reordered to fix their screw up and now items may not even be there until after New Year's. People who received some or all of orders reporting back to me the petit fours are stale. Garbage company with garbage products.
When I placed my order, I had to use the phone because Swiss Colony's website wasn't working. Apparently the representative did not add our names to the three gifts we sent. Thus, the recipients don't know and most likely believe we did not remember them at Christmas. After learning from one of the three recipients that our name was not on the gift they received, I checked with Swiss Colony on the others. The customer service rep said she could "no longer connect with the others." After being transferred to the supervisor, she said she would get a letter out in 7 to 10 business days informing the one individual of the missing greeting, but she couldn't read me or adjust the alleged letter. Don't waste your money ordering through this company because it's like giving an invisible gift. Very sad when you do everything you are supposed to do and the company you are trusting still fails you. Don't trust.
I ordered a basket to be delivered to a family member. The very next morning I received an email confirmation that the shipment was coming to me and if there were any errors on this order to contact them. I immediately sent an email and then called them. I got the total run around and ended up sending 4 emails and 3 phone calls only to be told it was too late and there was nothing they could do. Everyone I spoke to head rude and didn't care. Such bull$#*! considering I just placed the order literally the night before and double checked the address to make sure it was getting delivered correctly. NEVER AGSIN!
I put in two orders as gifts and received confirmation they would be delivered by 12/24. The first order made it, no issue. I heard nothing from the second order. Since the expected time was close, I checked the order status and, to my shock, there was no status. I messaged the customer service to see what is going on and apparently they were unable to fill the order. I was relying on this order to come through and Swiss Colony sent NO correspondence advising of their inability to fulfill my order. As such, I was unaware I needed to make other arrangements, which I cannot do now.
Point being, if you expect Swiss Colony to fulfill your order and communicate with you then you're likely to be out of luck. Go with one of their many competitors who have earned their high ratings. Swiss Colony seems to work hard to earn every low rating they have received.
Been a customer with Swiss colony for 10 years. April of 2022 they credited my wife's CLOSED account with my payment. They refunded 3 of my payments to me and reported that I was 30 days late to the credit reporting agency. I called there accounting department and they fixed the problem but still have me reported as 30 days late in April of 2022. I've made several request to fix this but they have not addressed this problem. It's a shame that their mistake is effecting my credit report and I will not be purchasing Swiss colony products in the future.
This goes back 3 years now and I'm very disappointed with Swiss Colony, I called and reported 3 years ago that I haven't received any of my orders and I was told to disregard it and today I received a call from a collection agency! First of all how can customer service say disregard any future billing it was taken off my account and 3 years later I'm being billed. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Please get it together. I'm the type of person who pays for what I receive and if I don't get it why would I pay. Would you do so!
I purchased the old fashioned candy mix. I paid 36 dollars for 2 lbs. When I received it, it didn't look anything like the picture on line. The flavors all tasted the same. I thought it would be rich in many different flavors. It was all stuck together. Poor quality. I will never order from them again.
I would give 0 stars if I could! I placed an order online and when I received a shipping notification, the address was completely different than the one I gave. I called and fixed the address. A few days later I received another shipping notification and the rep that I spoke with had apparently typed in part of the address incorrectly. I called to AGAIN fix the address, however the items had already shipped. They corrected the address a third time, but were out of 2 of the 3 items and would not substitute anything. I was stuck having to place a last minute order through another company. I will NEVER order from Swiss Colony again!
I ordered from them paid all the time early got charged late fees even when I was never late. They never reported to the credit bureaus until I stopped paying them for this. I tried to get in contact with them to settle this issue to finally get it off my account they say they cant help me. I will be contacting any agency that will listen to the scam this company runs.
I have been ordering from Swiss Colony for longer than I can remember. I even got Swiss Colony every year from my dad.
This year I had to cancel one item and its thrown their charges crazy. I'm being charged for the item I canceled months ago, it's Also changing me an amount nobody can figure out where or what its for.
Items that are delivery included credit department says you still have to pay delivery fee.
This will be the last year I order from them.
Ordered different holiday gifts to be sent to different addresses. Able to track packages on Swiss Colony website with links to track shipping. Noticed gifts were mixed up and sent to wrong addresses. Called customer service, the lady was very rude and did nothing to correct the problem. I will never order from this company again.
I was very upset with my order. I placed an order to get the items ASAP as they were a gift for Christmas. I received the items that I ordered prior to Christmas, but the other items that I ordered for my in-laws were initially set to deliver after Christmas. I contacted customer service department prior to my order being sent out and was told that both "sets" would then be delivered to my home address. Since one set was being delivered prior to Christmas, one would think that they both would be!
A week after I placed the order and the second "set", the ones that were supposed to be a gift for my in-laws, still had not left Wisconsin! So customer service said that I need to take the items to donate and get proof to refund me. Nice idea, however the only place to accept it is over a half hour away! So I need to take my time and gas to "fix" their mistake! This is frustrating and disappointing. As a first time customer, this has certainly changed my perception of their company.

I was so excited to send a gift from my Wisconsin to family and friends, thank my good sense to try it first. The hard candy is beautifully wrapped, pricey and tastes like the wrapper. The chocolates are really pretty and tasteless. The petifours are dull, dry and crumbly. I spent nearly $100.00 on absolute trash. To be clear, I rarely leave reviews.not this time.
