I have been purchasing items from Sweetwater for about 2 years now. When something wasn't in stock, they let me know of a similar product and gave me the option to choose that instead. I appreciate that because it was just a color difference. My other option was to wait 2 weeks, but this was a gift so timing was important. I emailed them back asking if they could put a note in the box or even on the outside saying "Happy Birthday!" I was told they move fast there, but they would try to catch it. And they did! There was a cute Happy Birthday written on the box with balloons. It was so nice I didn't even wrap the box! Thank you for always emailing and giving me updates and asking how my experience was. I really appreciate the service and your turn around time is so quick.!

One of the best online buying experiences I have ever had! Things to note:
- they actually called me before finalizing the order just to verify the purchase and see if I had any questions. And when I called back (they had left me a VM) the person who originally called me answered and knew who I was!

- Easy tracking of package as it was on its way to me

- When I emailed them after to receiving it the same person I had started the process with actually replied back and asked me to let him know how the item had I purchased was working out for me.

- the item I ordered arrived as expected, was well packaged and had a nice insert that explained returns, how to get tech help, etc.

I would highly recommend Sweetwater and will be using them in the future!

I had never used Sweetwater before for my music needs but I needed a few things and when doing a google search they had the best prices so I decided to give them a try. I have been blown away by their service and attention to my needs as a customer. I don't think I have ever been treated so well by any company and I cannot recommend them enough!

Sweetwater is honestly my go to for musical equipment. The customer service is outstanding. I made the mistake of purchasing the wrong update and they were able to refund my money, which was a messy process. Mark Johnson, a member of Sweetwater, is very easy to work with and talk to. I received a lot of products from Sweetwater and every product worked out to its maximum potential.

I have always had good experiences with Sweetwater. I rather buy from then than Amazon. Their support is great. However, I bought a new drum set and it came with a defective tom mount. Cannot be used without that part. I have talk to a few and they seem to pass the ball round. Today a week later I still do not have the part. Had to invent a mount to do a gig and it's embarrasing when I bought something good. When it comes to returns Amazon is better too bad. Sweetwater should step up to returns and fixes.

We have had nothing but good experiences with Sweetwater. They have helped us select quality gear for our studio that we started almost a year ago. We had a small budget to work with and they were able to share their experience in Pro Audio and get us in the right direction. We still continue to buy from Sweetwater.

Received my guitar via FedEx in perfect condition. Waited the 24hr period before opening.
The packaging insured no movement of contents. Opened the case and the D'Angelico 12 string far exceeded my expectations. Removed and played guitar right out of the case. Only a couple of strings were out of tune. No problem, with the built in tuner I was playing in no time. What a joy this guitar is. Such rich tones. Couldn't be more pleased with my selection and the GREAT service from Sweetwater!

I took in a Gibson guitar that needed restrung and a new pick guard.
They talked me into $800 worth of worth of work.
That was over a month ago and, despite several emails, they still won't tell me when I can get my guitar back.
I'm about to tell them, "Keep the damned guitar and my $100 deposit. I'll just buy a new one on Amazon."
If your guitar needs work, go somewhere else.

Great company

I recently bought a Fender Champion practice amp. It is a great little practice amp! What I like best is having my own advisor, Jason, who is very knowledgeble. He patiently answers all my questions even when they are detailed about a product like strings. Sure you can buy the same products elsewhere but the Sweetwater staff cares and can advise you when you ask.

I bought a little bag of picks for under $5.00. It was the best price on the Internet. But what impresses me is how Sweetwater cares about the purchasing experience. I received emails, and even a call, asking how the experience was, how Sweetwater could help me, and just generally being friendly. I have no doubt that if I bought a $10,000 guitar and smashed it on the stage in a rock and roll frenzy they'd call to ask how well the guitar performed in the smashing. They care.

Outstanding Service

I placed an order with Sweetwater and immediately received a call. The representative was pleasant and I was assured of a smooth transaction.
The purchase was quick and effortless. I needed a Taylor 800 series guitar before Christmas and Jon was instrumental in insuring I had the instrument Christmas Eve. Shopping through Sweetwater is almost as good as actually handling the instrument because they take quality photos of the actual instrument you will be buying (serial numbers). I knew what the Taylor model and serial number were when I bought it. Sweetwater will be my "go to" store for buying instruments. I have also ordered smaller items and accessories and they also arrive fast and there have been no negative surprises. Actually there have been some pleasant surprises but you will have to order something to see what I mean. Great Job Sweetwater!

Sweetwater has customer service quality down. Apparently, I have a personal representative that my calls get forwarded to every time I call. He has called me out of the blue to ask how my equipment is working and has given me technical advice.
That is customer service.!
This time I called to check whether a less expensive piece of equipment would do the job as well as the more expensive one. He told me that it would and I ordered it.
It arrived at my home before another order that I placed at Amazon at the same time.
These guys are great!

Their QC is as bad as Gibson's

Here's the guitar that passed their "55 point inspection". When I went to send the guitar back, they wanted to offer me a "discount" instead; gosh, I wonder why they won't post my review about this incident under "Gibson Flying V - Antique Natural"?
