I was paid a few times. The last time I went to cash out they said my account was locked to protect myself. When I inquired they said my account was locked for violating the rules. It's not true. I asked them which rules I violated and got nothing from them. There is no phone number listed but the BBB website states survey junkie it is another name for blue media ventures. I made you $#*! $#*! mfs so much money you $#*!ing lying $#*! scammers STAY AWAY IM WARNING YALL
They pay all blogs and articles about them so that articles will boost their users, they are nothing but scammers and will not pay you, do not ever take this site, go for prizerebel is waaaaay better. Survey junkie DO NOT PAY because they are a scam they just want you to complete 5 surveys so they get enough information to sell your info to survey providers. THEY WILL NOT PAY DO NOT TRUST THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY
Been using this app for a while now and have made money. All of a sudden my account was deactivated and I'm waiting on my last money. Has been over a week waiting on $22. Where is my money at?
They would not let me cash out for days i sent them a W-9 and now i dont get any surveys and it says my account is under review
Have 11.69._11.08(at time of photo) to cash out CAN NOT get a response I have a verified pp and email and have cashed out numerous times I think this is a SCAM
Out of nowhere banned and took the money I earned, no reasons why, multiple times. No emails, nothing.
Although their platform UI web page is designed well, look forward to disappointment, frustration and anger. I've been doing survey junkie for a few weeks now and although I have cashed out a few times, it's probably averaging something like $2 an hour. Maybe a little bit more maybe a little bit less. That's not the problem. The problem is when you complete a full survey and it results in an error page. You contact survey junkie, they tell you what's the clients fault. They then asked you for the survey ID. But of course if you didn't get credited with the survey, you will not see the survey ID in your history so it's a catch-22. If you really complain, they give you $0.35. I'm not kidding you. They will give you 35 freaking cents. This is a company that has no empathy. They pass the buck, and they think everything is all good. Well, the next time I cash out is the last time I'm using them. I wanted to spend an hour doing surveys tonight and I wound up spending FOUR hours trying to make up for the one hour of surveys that I didn't get credit for just to have more surveys not credit. You know what I did? I contacted the clients directly and told him about this. Hopefully I can get some sort of payment from the client. If not, I'm writing this review as a warning to potential users. If you enjoy taking surveys and don't mind getting $0.70 per survey, then by all means do it, but if you are trying to make a little bit of part-time income, run far away it's a shame because it seems like someone put a lot of time and effort into designing the interface of survey junkie. But they literally pay out peanuts. It's a crying shame. They kind of ruined my night. I'm done with them.
So, for any who read over my review, I have an update.
Short story of beginning. I had ran into the same problem most seem to face. I had points, told me to contact support, support wasn't contacting me back. Not even giving me a phone call as promised.
I sent in an email on the 5th day to Survey Junkie, and told them "Hey, this is NOT how to conduct business especially those who spend their time and rightly earned that money". Within 1 day I received a call from Survey Junkie, took 5 minutes. I asked if I will ever have to worry about this again, because it was kinda silly to wait 5 days to nearly a week in a half to get a response, and I would hate to have to do the account verification again.
No. I was promised that I would never have to be contacted again. Sure enough, right then I was able to redeem my points.
The time to do the survey's can be time consuming, sometimes getting through a 30m survey to be told you don't qualify and get 3 points does blow, HOWEVER, it does add up, AND sometimes getting those 100-300 pointers add up quickly. In a week I got 1900 pts, and one week it took me 5 days to get 100, it just works out that way sometimes. I give them a 3, because essentially they need to work on contacting people in a timely manner, but if you give them enough hassle they WILL contact you.
This isn't a scam, I just recommend if you want to get some action, take the bull by the dangles and just don't give up contacting them. All in all, Survey is NOT a scam, but needs to work on those call ques from Customer Support :).
Finally got enough points to redeem and the website told me that my identity check was invalid. Over 5 hrs of work wasted over their dishonesty.
Don't waste your time. Branded surveys is much better. Survey junkie is just that. A piece of junk. It should be banned.
The last 15 attempts to find a survey, it's always on empty WHY? There probably pocketing all the money! They use to have nice paying surveys but GREED GOT TO THEM! SURVEYJUNKIE IS CRAP NOW!
You will see it all over Pinterest. Earn hundreds of dollars a month by simply completing surveys. I've been on this site for 9 months now and I have earned $30. Most of the surveys will get personal information and then ask a few questions regarding their topic and then tell you that you don't qualify "here's three points". That equals $0.03. When you finally do qualify for a survey, you will spend 20 to 25 minutes completing it, and half of the time, right at the end, the survey will freeze. You write to customer service and they will ask you for the survey ID number. The survey ID number is only available to you before you start the survey. So unless you record that number every time you start a survey, you're not getting any reward for all of the information you've given to that particular company. 2 out of the 10 times, you will complete the survey only to be kicked off at the very end, where they tell you that you've already completed the survey or that your answers were not consistent. Most surveys average around 20 minutes in length with a reward of 50 points which is equivalent to 50 cents. You will be bombarded with emails stating that there is a new survey available to you. You will receive the notification and if you sign in immediately upon receiving the notification, it will tell you that "sorry, this survey has already reached its maximum number of participants." The surveys themselves have been slapped together by who knows who, but whoever it is clearly does not put any insight into what they are asking. They will ask you for your age. Then they will ask you for what year you were born. Attached is a screenshot that's one of my favorite questions. So, even if you were rewarded for every survey you took, you're only getting paid a dollar fifty per hour. There are probably other things you could be doing for way more money than that. Save your time. Save your frustration.
Survey Junkie's policy about technical errors SUCKS! Multiple times, a HIGH-PAYING survey has gotten stuck or had a similar technical error such that it wouldn't let me complete it. This is common, so when it's just a short time into the survey, I just chalk it up to bad luck and move on. Yet multiple times, I was near completion of LONG surveys (2 examples: 45 min. On one, total completion on another), when the thing froze or quit. Even though it is not the respondent's fault, Survey Junkie refuses to pay what you have RIGHTFULLY earned! They claim that because they're third-party surveys, they can't. Total lie! Once very early on--when they wanted to keep me as a reviewer--they paid a very small amount... though I practically had to give them my firstborn child to convince them I wasn't cheating. Furthermore, OTHER survey sites (Swagbucks, for one) DO pay what you have earned, and they don't act like you're a thief. As one review I read says, "Survey Junkie will do everything they can not to pay you." I couldn't agree more. Swagbucks, on the other hand, does so fairly, cheerfully, and quickly.
I've been trying since January 22 to redeem my points but survey junkie won't send me a verification code they won't answer my emails what's going on
To change the email address used for login ID, password and account recovery, that you have on file with Survey Junkie, you have to create a new account and they deactivate the old account, which isn't too much of a problem. The problem occurs when you try to redeem points from the new Survey Junkie account. Survey Junkie refuses to let you connect the bank account you used for your old Survey Junkie account, and insists on keeping that bank account tied to the old Survey Junkie account. This creates a security risk to the bank account you attached to the old Survey Junkie account, especially if someone else were to claim the old email address that you used for your old Survey Junkie account.
Even worse, is Survey Junkie's arrogant response of "Please also note that users are solely responsible for the security of their usernames and passwords and will be solely liable and responsible for any use, whether authorized or unauthorized, of their membership accounts," especially since they hold you hostage to old usernames and passwords that have gone bad.
272 bucks that I earned following directions error reading won't allow me to complete task but that still should stop me from cashing out I need help
I sent in a ticket (basically an email) to link paypal to surveyjunkie to redeem my hard earned 34 dollars. A Surveyjunkie representative responded to me through email that they would need to call me and verify who I am before linking paypal to my surveyjunkie account. I agreed to have them call me and days later a surveyjunkie representative calls me. I verify who I am and she said I will now be able to link my paypal to surveyjunkie to redeem my 34 dollars. Well, as soon as I get off the phone with her and log into my surveyjunkie account it says I cannot redeem at all UNLESS I request a postcard to fill out with my information and return it to them.
After sending in another ticket to them saying I have verified my account by email and by phone they send me another email stating "The only verification method available in your country is through a postcard verification." I live in the United States and was able to redeem at least five times before now through direct card payment. What I interpret this to mean is they are not going to give me my money ever, so stop asking. They also cheated my friend out of her money. They are scam artists, avoid at all costs.
Words cannot express how disappointed I am with this company. I think they could have gone far with honesty and turned this company into something bigger. However, instead of trying to get closer to survey takers, they are distancing themselves from us as much as possible.
This company absolutely should be reported. Surveyjunkie representatives are good to many people starting out but get nastier in time. Please people, save yourselves hours of your life by finding something else to do. To those who have YouTube channels this would be a great company to expose.
After fixing their glitch, the site has been working great! I recommend this site to anyone wanting to pick up a little extra cash.
Within a day of leaving my review of having no problems, I went to sign in and there it was. I can't even access the webpage. It says "Error code 14, request was blocked by the security rules." They have blocked my IP. I didn't do anything against the rules. I have always been honest. But, just like the others, I have been blocked.
I joined survey junkie at the beginning of August 2020. I've made and easily cashed out $82.78. I cash out frequently, every time I hit the $5 threshold, in the case they tried to shut down my account (I had read many reviews where they would ban them for no reason). I wasn't doing anything wrong, I never used bots, and I always had thoughtful answers. Then three days ago, I started getting the "No Surveys Available" page. I've gotten it before after I took all the surveys offered, so I didn't stress. But then that message was still there the next day. And the next day. I didn't receive any emails about being banned or anything. I was receiving normal emails regarding the 14-day summer challenge that I was trying to complete. So I had to email them myself and ask them what the issue was. They responded: "Thank you for reaching out. Your account is under revision. Once we have the updates on the case we will contact you back immediately." A few hours later, I got this message: "Based on the survey activity review the quality issues, as well as an unauthorized activity has been detected. Thus, your account has been temporarily disabled during the investigation process. Please be aware that SJ reserves the right in its sole discretion to cease or suspend providing all or any part of the service." WTF? I didn't violate any of the rules! I emailed them today, a day later, saying I didn't break any rules and asked them how long this investigation will take. I guess we'll see. But even if you make another account, they will still block surveys. It's about IP address. I'm wondering if I redeemed too many points (even though there isn't a point limit) and they're cutting me off because of it. SO annoying. I was using that to pay my internet bill as I am a college student. Totally sucks. Update 9/4/2020: they have not yet responded to me and it has been more than 48 hours. I believe they are banning me using their own discretion and will not be replying to me at all.
Answer: I'm having the same issue rip I don't think we're getting it back
Answer: Don't bother. They won't pay you. Survey Junkie is a scam.
SurveyJunkie has a rating of 1.6 stars from 362 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with SurveyJunkie most frequently mention customer service, phone number and many times. SurveyJunkie ranks 219th among Survey sites.
