They will find anyway they can to NOT give you points. I have been using SJ for roughly a year and up until October 2022 it was fine, I got decent payouts and I could make the points I needed to make within 2 days. But after the beginning of October, I would regularly be kicked out of surveys for no reason other than the bogus reason they gave. At one point 95% of the surveys I tried I'd be kicked out of, with the same reason given that I wasn't being honest with my answers. It seemed to get better into November and December, but late December it went back to rejecting alot of the surveys I tried.
There are various things they do to users. Ever since October, I figure I have lost out on 3000 points...so most would think that's not much, that's just $30...yeah thats $30 I could have used for groceries and 3000 points that I wasted my time trying to earn because SJ found some reason to have me kicked out of a survey, for whatever bogus excuse they felt was appropriate.
Their so called customer support is worthless. They will give you a bogus excuse for anything you bring to them...I've worked in customer support for well over 30 years, so I know a bogus excuse when I see one. Some people might fall for it, but I won't, and it appears others won't either. I've seen plenty talked about on various platforms about how pathetic they are. In just the past 2 weeks, I've had 3 different surveys result in pending confirmation before any payout was made...ok that happens, but these 3 surveys had absolutely NO notice whatsoever that they would not be immediately applied to my account...I found out after I finished the survey and no points were applied (found them on the points history list showing 'Pending Confirmation'). When I went to SJ about it, their answer was that there was a notice when the survey started indicating a delay in points being applied. I pointed out to them that there was no such notice, yet they would not budge, and they again told me there was a notice blah blah blah - their response was basically telling me to F OFF. 2 of them I have since gotten the payout applied, but the final one was from last night and I know if I ask them about it, they'll just tell me the same thing. Anyway, they are of absolutely NO HELP if you have an issue, they responsnd with standard script responses that the higher ups at SJ have probably told them they must follow and that they cannot think outside the box. Even if they give you compensation its a mere 50 points at best.
They have even said that the third party providers are who kick you out of a survey, not SJ. Ok so to a point I get that, but considering how often it happens, I cannot help but think that SJ has found some way to do so via software algorithms. I mean you goto a survey from the SJ page, and then you come back to the SJ page, which shows to me that SJ has a 'connection' to you while you are in that survey, otherwise they wouldn't know that it has been completed and to reward you points. It's essentially a software cookie that follows you to that third party site...scam artists always find a way to screw out a user, and this is how SJ does it. My belief is that they have it set that you get so far into the survey where they know the payout is gonna be given (90% of the survey completed for example) and so their algorithm kicks you out so they get not only the payout they are entitled to on their side, but they also get your payout...they ping the survey provider to say it was completed and to pay them (the provider assuming the user will get paid out, although they don't). It might sound far fetched and believe it if you want, but it is a very plausible method given todays technology and those software developers, etc, they might use who are willing to be a part of their scam. Or maybe its wrong, IDK, but it makes too much sense to me not to be BS
Anyway, if you are thinking about using SJ, don't...run away and run away fast from them and the others. They'll eventually scam you out of your survey dollars. There are far better ways to make money than coming to scam sites like SJ...most popular side hustles are scams or don't make you much money. If some website talks about you easily making $20 or more with Survey Junkie, don't believe them...you will struggle to make that much, trust me
Survey Junkie used to be a pretty good site, payouts were immediate and customer service was fast and responsive. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case as its become an unethical copany. Surveys gather your PII and then DQ you or say surveys have filled up. This is how I could tell they were headed downhill. I am no longer getting survey invites, even though I am an active member.
BTW, any survey that ask for your full name, address and phone number is a scam... unless you know for sure that they are going to send you some product(s) to test. Surveys are supposed to be annoyomous and therefore should not be asking for this type of info. If you encounter this, take screenshots and report it to the survey company which sent the invite. If you can find the name of the company hosting the surveys ( it's at the bottom of the page on many of the surveys... or at the beginning when they throw up the legal verbage about how they will, handle, store and share your info.
Make sure to read and understand any legal and storage verbage if it's not a company that you regularly do surveys for. Even then try to stay abreast of any changes. The devil is in the details! I find now a days I am declining surveys because of this. Many of them have a fancy round about way of telling you that they will hold your info for an indefinate amount of time and will share it with this one or that one who will do this or that and share it with so and so. Then so and so will use it for MARKETING and ADVERTISING. This could mean they are selling your info to other companies and the info goes on lists so that they can contact you either via phone, email, or postal mail. Also be weary of companies that will store your info in other countries as you don't know the laws govern how they can handle/store or sale your info.
I am most confortable with compaines that do not ask for indepth PII, will only store your info for the duration of the survey research period and securely destroy it afterwards. Some are ok in my opinion if they state they will only hold it for a year. However, be careful as you might take several surveys over time from the same company and that could mean the cycle is never ending and the year starts over every time you enter a new survey. Thus they may be keeping your info continuously. I also opt no when they state they want to link the info from the survey you're taking with info they might already have one file. This could mean giving them the permission to store your info indefinately.
I have heard that many people are having payout issues with SurveyJunkie, fortuntely I was able to cashout before this started. NEVER give company or entity your banking info. Not even a legit company that you want to allow to draw payments for a loan or whathave you. This can go south fast! Request prepaid CC, giftcards, or payment via Paypal.
I'm hearing SJ has no means by which to be contacted. Many survey companies are owned by other survey or sister survey companies... so you can contact them via them. Sometimes each company is owned by another and it could take some time and research getting to the bottom of things. You might end up having to contact them via contact info that is for other means, like for advertisers.
I found the following info for SurveyJunkie: It's a BBB acredited company ( which could mean nothing in many cases as a company could just ignore complaints and requests to arbitrate. Also, the BBB in many states are not above board, thus you might see a good rating for a very poor company.)
This company is owned by consumer insights platform DISQO (This may be owned by yet another co. I'll let you guys further on your own, if needed.)
Address: 400 N Brand Blvd Fl 6
Glendale, CA *******-2359
Ph:*******217 (I've experienced companies that request you to leave a message with an automated answering service or a live person, but never get back to you, so don't expect too much.)
Do you know what 3 cents is when you get it 3 times in a row...? Nearly a dime. Quit griping about 3 cents. If you can't value your pennies, you do not deserve dollars, and THAT is why you're broke. And being broke is why you're doing surveys... If we really want honesty. They're not dumb.
The reason you get disqualified, is because you don't match the target audience.
"Honesty" has NOTHING to do with it.
You need to be smart, and LIE like a dog, and say exactly what they want to hear, and what makes you sound good.
If it isn't true... start making it true; because we all know the real reason many of you do these things, is because you're lazy and don't want to get real jobs, and probably don't qualify for many jobs even if you did try to get them because you do bad things with your time and youre socially awkward because of it.
BUT... if you really think theyre just jerking you around... then... why dont you just do it back?
Do them on a laptop,... and have about 6 surveys going all at once. Easier to switch tabs.
Only do this when theres a LOT of surveys on screen,... fail each one of them deliberately (say you're a 10 year old girl each time it asks for an age) and repeat.
Thats a fast dime (nearly) adding up right after the next.
The PENNY... is powerful. Dont underestimate it.
A dollar aint nothing but 4 quarters. You can find those easily at a drive thru window after closing hours, or in a garbage can/ vacuum vents at a car wash.
And btw, if the payouts aren't going into your paypal as soon as you cash out, its because you failed to enter some info that matches your paypal info... quit being stingy with it, thinking the hackers and illuminati are out to get you, its the same as any job, they have to have this info because you're dealing with actual money... how else would they get it to you? If somebody really wanted to cyber attack your ACTUAL bank account or your paycheck at work,... it CAN be done, (easily by the right people). If somebody working at the social security dept. really wanted to go to prison, they could easily do this... but...
When you see anything 70 cents and up... take them more seriously... but remember... DONT be completely honest.
Don't lie in such a way that it sounds unbelievable, but think more in terms of...
"The model human as seen on TV".
Be LESS like you and more like THAT, BE FAKE... Be eccentric... be like the way you see people on The Price is Right... because that IMAGE is what they're trying to sell... Illuminati confirmed.
You're a capitalist... you're a consumer. A worm on a hook.
Snared by the Dollar.
~Pleased to meet you. Hope you guessed my name.

Pros: -pays in US dollar - mobile phone compatible -can cash out instantly
Cons: - 100points for $1, However, you only earn like 90 points per day -has higher risk of not be able to redeem it - higher risk of not crediting the points user actually finished
I suggest to redeem everytime once reach $5 around. This way you will always get your money, and even if they refuse to pay you, you know they hold just $5. They will lose their credibility and you could earn from other website as well.
I don't think they are going to give you surveys worth over 100 points, at least they would trick you to complete those worth-big survey and only reward you like 3 points minimum, This is purely just a Huge laughing-out loud joke. They keep trying to challenge user's patience.
Or they tell you didn't qualified for the survey targeted group.
This is obvious a WHITE LIE for most survey companies they use it ALL THE TIME, because they don't want to pay everyone, they want to keep most of the money survey -generated companies pays for. They only spend small amount of money to pay users. This is the only way can explain why they set their system as only show you completed the survey and "received" points in the HISTORY section, however choose to not ACTUALLY credit the exact amount in the circle points for you to CASH OUT!
People, I would suggest you only complete those under the 100points survey only, it will prevent this survey site tricks you complete surveys over 100 points but not paying the full amount you authentically deserve! And another important point is 90,50, or 40 points survey have much higher chance you can score the full amount.
I'm new to this site, but I think I've known it far before 2010. I didn't choose to stay with it because I didn't like the way they only offering points for survey. I still don't like points, but it's worth the trying anyway. Overall it's not easy to earn money by doing surveys online, but you would find it's quite interesting to see various questionnaires if you starting to realize it's not that difficult to deal with.
--------------------------------------
Based on my recent completion of two surveys from this site, I would say their system is quite tricky. Especially if the survey is worth over 100 points. I think Survey Junkie's system deliberately tricks people to complete surveys worth above 100 points and not paying the exact full amount!
After you log in, you can see there's a circle indicates how many points you currently have. Every time you finish a survey, the points increase by the amount of that survey.
However, even if I can see the points for these two surveys have been showed in the history page. If the points didn't accumulated in the circle amount, I would never be able to cash out with that amount!
Somehow they intentionally don't accumulate those surveys with higher payout like over 100 points to your total in the account. It's been the second time I've completed a survey worth like 125 points, but survey junkie's system refused to add it to the amount of my total points in the circle!
I also emailed the first time but never heard from them, maybe they don't have a team. OR they just intentionally don't want to pay you the full amount for a survey takes more than 20 minutes minimum.
I already deleted my account.
Do i need to even give them a star? I wish i didnt have to, let me tell you something, dont waste your time this is a scam company when i was with them i had to fight them just about all the time just to get my points not every time but most of the time and i promise you you will not get none of your money if you violate their so called violations that no other survey company ever has, this is the worst survey company that is out there and when they lock your account so you cant redeem your points it dont matter how hard youve worked your as* off you will not get them or yull get a messege saying we we will call you back back in what used to be 24-48 hrs but has risen up to 7-10 buisness days let me inform you you will not get a call back very very very very very seldom ive gotten 1 call back just 1 the whole time and when they called the number was blocked as a private number in which if found out what it is and im gladly going to give it out incase you need it if your looking to make a little bit of pocket change this aint the right place ii incourage you to go to another survey site and their are hundreds out there DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON SURVEY JUNKIE let alone this last time i was told that i could no longer use paypal i needed it to link to my bank, do not ever give any survey company your social security number or your back routing number and account number this company is a scam and this is their number that they make sure they dont want you to have but here it is 1-949-=743-3217 good luck if you sign up with them im done with them it does and it wont get no worse than survey junkie their last name is junk for a reason cause they are a peice of junk!
Took a lot of patience! Contacted Cx 3x, got call on the 25th, been a member since 2018, no issue. :) Keep trying different departments and make sure you give them your phone number just encase there's a mistake on your account, also give them a reason for the contact. That's how I did it.
Started with survey junkie June 14th 2018 cashed out 9 times without issues and no verification, funds were in my paypal within 10mins. On Dec 20th 2018 after attempting to cash out, right before midnight I receive a message saying there was an issue and I needed to contact CX, I submitted a ticket and received an email at 1:59am Dec 21st confirming that my ticket had been received,,, they would contact me as soon as possible. I checked my email around 5am that morning and had received an email at 2:26am saying "You had pending points that were preventing you from redeeming. We have reviewed those points and you may redeem at this time. " I went through the process of redeeming my points and was told to check my email for a verification code, the code worked and I received my funds in my Paypal within 10mins. In Feb and March I successfully redeemed my funds with no issues using the verification codes they sent to my email. On April 1st
2019 I attempted to redeem my points but there was an issue and I was asked to contact CX, I tried cashing out my points again later that day and was locked out of my account, I tried logging from my laptop and was able to log in, so I returned to my main computer did some scans... got it cleaned up, cleared my browser history and was able to log back in.
At 3:59am I received an email apologizing for problems with my account and they would contact me by phone. I replied with the best time for them to contact me. On April 2nd I received another email saying I was added to the call queue but it may take 5-7 business days. By the 11th I hadn't heard from anyone so I tried again with all the same results, I
Never heard from them, but I was not discourage because I am a member of
Many survey and pay to click site and I knew a lot of them were verifying accounts and clearing out scammers who are cheating the system by using bots, there as also a big deal on the news about someone who was running dozens of computers being run by bots and this triggered a lot of companies to start clearing out manipulator. By the 19th I had not
Heard from anyone so I tried again but I didn't contact cx, On the 20th I tried again and again I didn't contact cx. On the 23rd so many surveys were coming in and I was disappointed that I couldn't do them I decided to contact customer support this time under verification (not under "can't redeem" like I had been doing) I let them know I was having no luck getting a phone call to verify my account in order to cash out, I also added my phone number to the ticket in case I had made a mistake on my end. Once again I received an email at 3:27pm apologizing for the problem I was having and would be contacted. At 3:57pm on April 25 I received the call. (Unfortuntely I can not give you the number because I don't have it, even if I did I'm not sure I could due to security reasons and too many angry people. I don't want to be responsible for represenitives being harassed or yelled at for something that's not their fault. I have been on the end of the line before, the calls just don't stop coming in) But I can tell you that it came in as "California". A woman was on the line, she didn't give her name or the company she was calling from, all she said was I'm calling to verify your account so your funds can be awarded. She asked the basic questions for verification about myself and my account. Told me I would receive an email shortly letting me know my account was verified and I could redeem my points. She was Not a foreigner! At 4:29 I got the email Saying "Hi Paul, Congratulations, we were able to verify your account successfully. You can now continue with your redemption. Thank you for being a Survey Junkie member! " I redeemed my funds through Paypal. Hope this helps someone. Don't give up they have thousands of members to get through.
