Not too happy with survey junkie rite now, I've been trying to redeem points for over a week, no one is getting back to me
You spend 10-15 minutes on a survey answering 10+ questions where you think you're getting 80 points, only to be told you didn't qualify and then they give you 2-3 points for your time. It's insulting, just keep the 2 cents, it's clear you need it more than I do.
The first 5.00 was easy. That's all you'll get. From nor giving you the points, to ending surveys half way thru. If I wanted 2points (2cents) to do a survey. Then they sell your info. Total scam beware!
I finally tried to cash out my 500 points ( $5) to PayPal and the option was not working in Survey Junkie. I then opted for a $ 5 Visa Card instead. When I finally found merchants who accept $5 gift cards ( Panera Bread, Wallmart) the 'supposed virtual card' from Survey Junkie was not accepted. Beware of this site - the rewards are FAKE. Do NOT waste your time doing their surveys. They will use you / your information and you get nothing - AVOID THIS UNETHICAL SURVEY SITE!
I've used this site for a few months and have been scammed multiple times by their third party surveys. It only have I completed entire surveys and not been compensated for completing them, I've been penalized because the third party's don't verify their verifications. I have answered all surveys honestly and have been scammed out of 85+ points on multiple occasions. It's so frustrating that they can use our time which we don't get back and then tell us we aren't being honest. I only use this service when I absolutely am in a pinch and need extra cash but I am immediately reminded every time I use it that they are playing us and really don't care about how they use us. So disgusted by this.
I answer a few questions and then it takes me right back to the dashboard page, over and over and over and over. I don't think I have completed an entire survey once. Is it really worth it?
I started using Survey Junkie around April or May of 2022, and at first it seemed like it was worthwhile. Yes there were constant screen outs, but in general I was qualifying for probably one in every three surveys, and I was making what I considered decent money. However this year, 2023, I think I've only made ten or fifteen dollars, because I can never qualify for surveys.
I'm not sure what changed, if they're just not getting worthwhile surveys, or what. But I can attempt twenty surveys and not qualify for any of them. It's a complete waste of time. I just counted, and of the last forty surveys I've attempted, I was able to finish two of them. And they don't even pay out that much, I would be lucky to make even a dollar an hour.
I've switched to using Qmee and Prime Opinion, and I can usually qualify for over half of their surveys, and I tend to make at least three dollars an hour on either of them. There are some days where I can get over five or six dollars an hour on them.
TL/DR: Survey Junkies used to be good when they were one of the few games in town. Now, they're just terrible, both in rates of qualification, and the amount they pay out when you do qualify.
Wasted about a day taking surveys and when I finally reach five bucks, I can't have it. They claim to require photo id. They provide an app for that. The app reports a clear photo on my CDL as blurry. Same for my wifes dl and her employer id. NONE of these photos are blurry and both of out phone camera lenses are clean. This is just an excuse to not actually payout. It's a scam.
Survey Junkie is terrible. Low paying, waste of time and they want your information to sell. If you notice, if you ask google is survey junkie is legit, the first search result is a fake review stating survey junkie is great but there is no actual feedback from users. Now come to sitejabber where people can put up their honest opinion about a website or business etc, and take a look at the overall rating now. Do you see how bad this website called survey junkie really is? Some surveys also should be illegal because it asks you plenty of questions just to say after you already put in 10 minutes of your time, sorry this survey wasn't for you and instead of it paying you 80 to 120 points like it said they only pay you 2-3 points which translates as 2 - 3 cents. Cmon people we can do better and take these fools out
I've made about $150 over the past year or so. The complaints of getting kicked out of surveys and not getting the point ARE legit. Despite all that I still took surveys. Recently they wanted me to send them a picture of either me or my ID. Take that $5 and shove it, you aren't getting a pic of my ID no matter how "safe" you say it is.
I used to really like this site, and they pay out very quickly when you reach the 50.00 threshold (49.99). But the last few months the surveys have gone from interesting to horrible, and the surveys I've noticed are in NO way relevant to you, and another thing that makes me angry is that when you do a survey and you KNOW that you told the truth, they tell you that you lied and to be more truthful. I believe that I'll go to Prime Opinion and do surveys at Swagbucks, as they do have PLENTY of surveys that are relevant to you and they have have so much more to offer in terms of the sheer number of survey offers than Survey Junkie does now. Hopefully, SJ will get themselves straight and go back to being what they used to be 2 or so months ago But for now, they're awful and I hate saying that. Get yourself together Survey Junkie!
Survey junkie says they will pay you a certain amount of money to do a survey and state the survey is 20 minutes long they will let you answer 15+ minutes of questions and kick u off so they don't have to pay you I've tested this many times and 80% of all their surveys do it it's not fair they are getting the answers they need and not holding up their end of the deal it happens way to much and for way to long
I no long recommend any company who suddenly after 5 months ask for a picture id drivers license or any highly secured document that you shouldn't send to anyone especially if you have been a victim of identity theft
I've been taking SJ surveys since 12/23 in my spare time to keep my brain activated.since starting I've averaged $60 per month 200 points a day. It's been great the payout is easy I forward funds to PayPal then to my checking it very simple I would highly recommend it.The extra cash comes in handy.
My email to Survey Junkie Thanks Nush! (in my comments...you & your refer to Survey Junkie)
Your comments completely ignore the difference between what is stated as earning potential in your advertising, and the reality of what was offered. The last survey I received an offer to participate in (assuming it took the time estimated by the system) would equate to just over $1 an hour. This is incredibly dirty. It is false advertising.
"The rewards for each survey will vary, but with commitment and regular participation, members have the opportunity to earn extra cash each month." Your advertising suggests that people can earn approximately $800 per month in their spare time. Based upon all rates that I have seen, nobody will be making that amount even if they are doing it for 40 hours per week. All that matters is actual amount earned for a specific time. If the amount likely to be made were honest, few people would ever bother wasting their time.
I have been paid nothing for wasting about two hours of my time (surveys resulting in zero income); the system showed that I had earned just under $2 at one point. Knowing that people would just stop after such an experience, all the company needs to do is generate a constant flow of people trying it out, this way you get a few hours for free from everyone.
"In any case, the more effort members put into checking in daily for new surveys and completing them, the more they will earn in the long run." This is irrelevant if people are making almost nothing ($1-$2 per hour).
I will certainly share my feedback. So that everyone can see that no words have been changed, I will post your email with my reply. What was received was like a standard script that had been copied and pasted. My specific criticisms were not addressed.
Regards,
David

Survey junkie has gone from a once robust survey site to garbage. For example, surveys are completed following all rules and expectations, but frequently are disqualified. In addition, good luck if you can complete even one survey a day.
For those who want to use Survey Junkie; if you want to continue being disqualified and your 100 points taken from the thieves, and you get 3 pts for trying, then continue using the app if it is worth your time. Otherwise,
REDEEM ALL YOUR POINTS AND CLOSE YOUR SURVEY JUNKIE ACCOUNTS!
You will spend forever answering the SAME questions repeatedly only to be told "you don't qualify" $0
This asks you the SAME demographic questions (which should just be stored in the site and given to surveys on your behalf?!) over and over and over and over and then just tells you you're not a match for this survey - EVERY time.
This company sell your personal information such as phone number. I made the mistake of trying this service and now receive multiple calls a day from numbers my phone auto labels as spam and scams.
Answer: I'm having the same issue rip I don't think we're getting it back
Answer: Don't bother. They won't pay you. Survey Junkie is a scam.
