I received a phone call asking me if I wanted to take a short consumer survey in exchange for a cruise to the Bahamas. Sounded good. I answered a few questions about my sex, age, college education, rent or own and a couple of other questions, and then they gave me a website: www.surveyclaim.com to receive my cruise. I went to the website and entered the information the caller had given me. I went through all the steps 5 times and each time I did it an "error message" came up... identical every time. There is no way to contact them, even though they make it look like there is. Avoid this scam!
Told me to answer their survey questions. Promise of 2 free tickets on cruise. Went to www.surveryclaim.com answered all questions and got an error message. Their phone number is *******665. Answered Universal survey. You hear a recording that they are a survery company.
COMPANY CALLS YOU, SOMEBODY COMES ON THE PHONE AND AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFERS YOU TO A RECORDING STATING, YOU PARTICIPATE IN THE SURVEY, YOU GET TWO COMPLIMENTARY CRUISE TICKETS. AT THE END OF THE SURVEY, THEY INSTRUCT YOU TO GO TO THIS SITE, ENTER THE PHONE NUMBER AND ZIP CODE THAT THEY GOT FROM YOU TO CLAIM YOUR TICKETS. YOU GO TO THE SITE AND NOTHING WORKS.
Called me on my cell when I was busy. Slowly got around to saying they wanted to do a survey --- PESTS!
