Supermarket Italy

We recently discovered supermarketitaly and done a handful of purchases already. Great selection of products that we can't find elsewhere in our area, reasonably priced, great customer service. Really can't ask for anything more.

I had a really great experience ordering. The items I purchased were perishable and they came double packaged and sealed with bubble wrap. I was so grateful they didn't spill out at all along the way. Really great prices too.

Very excited to find such a variety of food items. I ordered my favorite hard to find Olive Oil bar soap and a selection of tea cookies, All arrived quickly, well wrapped and I found no damage on any items.

Unfortunately, two out of the five items ordered were not available even though they were still shown as available on the website at the time of ordering. No email was sent ahead of time notifying me that some items would be missing and I only became aware of it after the delivery to the house of the in-stock items. I would think that it would be in the store's best interest to notify before shipment and ask the customer to pick other items as substitutes if possible. The website, especially in pre-holiday periods, should be updated daily to advise of any out-of-stock items.

My items were excellently packed! I've had oil shipped before from other vendors who couldn't seem to figure out how to pack a glass bottle so that it could arrive at destination intact. Supermarketitaly knows how to pack their delicious bottled goodness.

Supermarketitaly.com is one of the best companies around. Their site is well organized, they have products that I cannot easily find--and I live in NYC!--they have a stellar customer service, and they ship fast!

Although I was not satisfied with two items ordered, I must say the service overall from beginning to end was totally professional. I was happy to find the specific Sherry (Jerez) vinegar that I needed in your website. I received it as expected. My only complaint is that shipping costs are so high these days. (I imagine that this is everyone's complaint.) This is a great vinegar, and it should last me awhile. I recommend it.

Found through the internet; can't remember how I got to SuperMarketItaly.com, but so glad I did! They had my favorite Goya Guava Jelly at a reasonable price. Although shipping arrival was delayed due to weather issues, it waswrapped and boxed beautifully, and arrived in excellent condition. Thank you SuperMarketItaly!

Love products and efficiency. I have bought items for myself and others. Always the products are excellent quality. But, quite especially, SupermarketItaly wraps their yummy deliverables very carefully so that nothing EVER arrives damaged.

Great prices on items that i was looking for, and also the items came packaged very well. Very well protected and wrapped. There was no chance any of the glass items would be broken with the large amount of bubble wrap provided. Shipping was quick and I have no complaints about my order. I will order again when i need certain items.

Based on my research, Supermarket Italy had the best price for Caffe Kimbo of any online retailer. We've actually used them the last several years. We purchased 24 cans of coffee, which were packaged carefully and shipped in 1 business day. They provided a small discount for buying in bulk, free shipping due to the purchase price, and even a little freebie for spending over $100. An excellent shopping experience! Nonna is thoroughly pleased!

Your site isn't user friendly after stepping away returning to complete order it wasn't in cart. 2nd attempt you've changed prices on numerous items listed in clearance. I had over $70 in total you list shipping fees. That's it!

First time with Supermarket Italy. Placed the order on a Tuesday. My credit card was billed the next day. I still had no confirmation or tracking by Thursday. I contacted them on that Thursday. They checked into my order and told me that it would probably ship that day. They also told me they would email tracking that day. I never received tracking that day. No email on tracking Friday either. I happened to look up my order later that Friday evening and found tracking in the body of my order. They never did send me an email on tracking. My order arrived on Monday via FedEx. They package was wrapped and padded quite well. However when I unwrapped the can of cherries, the can was badly dented. There is no doubt in my mind they shipped me a badly dented can. I will be leary to ever order anything ever again from them. I should receive some sort of credit for the severely dented can.

I was looking for an online place to order my favorite Italian products. I love the Sicilian olive oils. They are so fruity and not dense. Also, I wanted something that wasn't a blend if oils from some other country. I wanted a true Italian olive oil. This site provided me with the oil I wanted and also offered other products that I was shopping for.
I am ot disappointed.

I am a huge fan. I moved from a large city back east to very rural Wyoming. I love it here and am so glad to have found SupermarketItaly so that I can enjoy many of my favorite things even way out here. Service is great, items are very well packed and always arrive in perfect condition and in good time. Love it.

Your site is terrible! Could not check out easily. Would not recognize my stored customer information. Had to repeat everything over and over. Could barely see the "Not a Robot" pics. Had to start all over as a new customer. Second time I had to do this!

Was shocked that they asked for a tip after checkout. WTF? A tip for whom? The program running the site? The server hosting the site? The business owner?

What offends me about these nonsensical tip appeals, where no personal service is actually rendered, is that they obscure the fact that we do have a professional server class, who are skilled and dedicated, who are paid primarily by tips. Labor law singles them out for a minimum wage that is less than half of what it would be were they not tipped. These appeals for frivolous unearned tips obscured that fact and create a backlash, a tip fatigue, that adversely affects them.

Shame on Supermarket Italy for this absurd and offensive attempt to extract "tips" from their customers without delivering any sort of personal service.
