It's simple. If you have an item that is out of stock, you don't let the customer purchase it with their credit card. If you do, you have to send them an email three days later to tell them it's out of stock… And finally return the money. How about you tell them it's out of stock when they attempt to make the purchase? I don't know how you could possibly stay in business with these types of practices.
So many quality items. I love many things that are offered here, yet hard to find in other places, like the big selection of gluten-free pastas, the almond stuffed olives and the big "bar"torrone with almonds and pistachios. Everything is beautifully bubble wrapped to avoid breakage. I love ordering and having the confidence that all will be delivered well and safely, and it always will
I love the ease of shopping online at Supermarket Italy. They carry so many things I can't find anywhere else, and have a great selection of olive oils, vinegars, olives, Italian, tuna, and other hard to find items. I have confidence that the products will be excellent and well wrapped to avoid breakage. I will continue to buy from supermarket Italy.
I have 0 complaints with this entire transaction. My package arrived quickly, I was notified every step of the way, it was packaged well, and the olives I got were surprisingly perfect. I won't be buying my olives or maybe anything they offer from anyplace else.

I was searching online for the my chocolate hazelnut star cookies. I actually tried to order from Amazon. That order failed completely. The response (after the order) was "unable to deliver."

As I said, I love this flour, but I would like a year expiration date. I ordered 13 bags and it is very difficult to use that much in less than 12 months. My first order of 13 bags had a 1 year expiration date and it worked out beautiful. I now feel I may have to dispose of some this flour due to the date.
I am an Italian based in TX. I struggled to find these biscuits for my kids, as a child I grew up with Plasmon! Then I found you, the whole experience was perfect, some of them are broken, maybe check better on the packaging but overall happy I found you!
I do not place orders online unless I am sure the money is available for the purchase. Supermarketitaly.com tried to pressure me into buying my order before I was ready to place my order (reminding me there was still items in my cart and stating since it had no control over cart, my items may not be available if I wait)...I have enough common sense to know items may not be available when I'm ready to place my order. However, if they are not available, then I'm up the creek without a paddle and have simply lost out. I'm 78-years old and have been around the turnip truck several years, if you get my drift. Because of this experience, I may or may not ever order online from supermarketitaly.com again...it would depend on whether or not I can find what I want on some other website. Please stop pressuring customers to purchase when they are not ready to do so.
It took longer.than we expected to receive the order but we discovered the fault was all ours for using an address we should have known was not appropriate. For this we apologize and thank you for bearing with us to straighten everything for a satisfactory conclusion. We hope to do business with you again
This was a great shopping experience. My husband's family is Italian and I was on the search for Italian Long Hots as he lives these on sandwiches and the deli in our town stopped carrying them. This website was a welcomed find and I am positive to return to it for future purchases.
I originally ordered 6 products, one of them became unavailable before my order shipped, but I was refunded. My only "issue" was that I didn't get a tracking number until I emailed for one. The order came quickly though and the products were all in good condition. The order was a hit for Christmas at my house. Thank you.
No issues with seeing to product or ordering. I did get a refund for a credit card purchase of an item that I think was out of stock - I didn't receive a definitive message why the item purchase was cancelled but mentioned that I would not be charged for it and refunded my credit card.
Ordered and paid for item listed as in stock on 4/12 and waited for shipping info. On 4/17 notified item was not in stock (5 days after order) and asked if I wanted to wait an unknown period of time for it to get back in stock or request a refund. I requested a refund and received it the next day.
Ordered same product from a different vendor on 4/21 and received product on 4/24 (less time than it took Supermarket Italy to notify me that it was out of stock).
The grain and the processing make the pasta... this is the best!
If I were to change one thing, it would be to ask for the pasta to be packed in its original shipping cartons instead of being consolidated into a single, more compact single carton. It has become much more difficult to shelve in the pantry without its original packaging.
Great selections, prices, and promos! Too much bubble wrap and hard to break merchandise loose...But atleast nothing broken!
I found products unavailable anywhere else in the US and the shipping was fantastic. Everything was carefully wrapped and arrived in perfect condition.
I purchase items from here that I like but can not find in my area. I always seem to find something new to try and have not been disappointed with anything I have purchased. The items are delivered on time and packed with care so everything arrive undamaged.

I received my order very quickly and everything was packed perfectly. Unfortunately, I didn't receive two items and did receive one item I did not order. Customer service had been very pleasant so far.I'm awaiting my missing items and look forward to shopping with Supermarket Italy again soon.
When I was placing my order, a little glitch must have happened. I was not credited with my discount when I checked out. I sent a note to customer service and got an immediate response from Angie, who took care of my discount so speedily and graciously.
