DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAM COMPANY! Don't do business with them! With 26 panels I still pay over $280. Not professional! Liars! Promise something delivers something else!
Sun-Tec is a very unreliable company. We purchased a system, what they installed was another, cheaper system. They are denying any responsibility and are coming up with senseless explanations and excuses! Now we have to sue this company. They are ignorant. Just hands off this company! Do not trust their sales math!

The "Sun-Tec" salesman claimed that if my electric bill was $130 per month or higher that this system & loans would pay for themselves - WRONG! Their Solar Hot water system & attic Fan gave me $21 per month in savings & a $60 monthly loan bill! This system is a GREAT way to lose $40.00 a month for years! At this rate - your electric bill would have to be about $400 per month for you to come out ahead! I spent about 7 months working with them to try to get this system working - but it never did. Asked them to remove the faulty unit & give me a refund... they refused. I tried to contact "Heng Phu" the elusive CEO - I called him daily for a month - He will never call you - customers are not important enough. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE! They are VERY expensive & they did NOT stand behind their product or claims! I read another review about them online where the saleman talked about how he quit due to their practices. Look up "Sun-Tec" Solar under "Scam" & "Ripoff" & see what you find!
You can buy a Solar Unit for about a Third of what they charge... If you just do a Quick Internet search... The $3,000 Tax credit should just about cover the cost of the Unit... Don't let them Fool you into spending $10,000+ on thier "high-quality" (LOL) unit and ending up with a high-interest loan for the rest!
They even tried to buy me off to get me to take down my bad reviews... SHEESH!

Sun-Tec Solar Energy is not a “scam” company, nor do we lie to our customers. It is unfortunate when a customer resorts to name-calling and making slanderous claims.
Sun-Tec performed exactly to the contract terms and the system is producing perfectly. In the last billing period, 1.31 megawatts of electricity were generated by their system, better than even the manufacturer’s specifications. The customer’s bill was only $176.10, not $280 as claimed. The electricity bill based on consumption would have been $320-$350 conservatively without solar. The customer has only owned the house since December and has no summer bills as a basis for comparison. We want all customers to be satisfied with their contribution to a greener world and savings in electricity bills, but we cannot tolerate defamatory comments put out in the public domain that are simply lies.
