Sunrise Hospital has been harming and killing people for many years. It is rated ONLY ONE STAR by Medicare and that says a lot because the rating is based on patient data (not the fake reviews that are posted on most websites). Learn about their lawsuits and fraud and violating ADA rules, and read patient stories at https://www.sunrisehospitalvegas.com.

I spent 2 weeks in Sunrise Hospital, my last week I was waiting for 1 procedure to be done. That procedure was never done. The higher ups kept cancelling the procedure. Now I have to try to have this procedure done, as it can be life threatening.
The nursing staff, CNA's & attending doctor's were all excellent.

A will to live
March 17, 2023

I came out of there with a will to live which i didnt have when i got there. Theyre not trying to give someone something they dont want. Sometimes the job looks so stressfll they get patients clean dry and do it all over. My greatest wish is that the staff have a room where they can vent the day to each other. Kimberli werby

Crazy still on 911 gurney. Security checking my pouch and pockets for weapons. Come on….!
Every black person is not a drug seeker. The 2 stars are for the 2 kind sweet nurses I come in contact with.

Bad service
April 15, 2022

Unprofessional nursing don't know anything about care
Nurse in room 3118 never show up all night to my son room with the pain medication and antibiotics meds
A lot traveling nursing hire in this place
For all the money they charge in this hospital they don't hire enough nurses. Really bad almost all the patties complain about this I'm not the only one.
I hope they do anything about this especially here in vegas

I asked how much the co-pay was going to be and they told me $500 dollars. They didn't even saw my son a bby. Yet we left and then I got a bill home for $315.70 dollars. For somethings they didn't even do. This is a ripoff. Sad to see that some hospitals can be like that, and upset with them because I called the billing department and they called me a layer.

There is hardly any one good thing significant about this hospital during my 2 month stay there. Most of the doctors that I saw didn't bother to communicate with me on things like procedures, medications, dietary changes, etc. I was frequently left alone during treatments, for upwards of an hour or more, especially during physical therapy and respiratory therapy, in addition to being verbally abused by therapists and a few nurses on 3 separate occasions. I was harassed daily for 3 weeks by a hospital social worker who also harassed my family, until a lawsuit was threatened. Medications were frequently withheld, I was not properly cleaned by staff ( my family had to see to that until I could do it myself). My personal property was gone through and my smart phone was stolen by a staff member. Staff even went against family wishes (and mine) by trying to put me into a poorly run long term care facility, one that is known for patient abuse and neglect. When I was discharged, I wasn't given appropriate amounts of medicine to help the transition from hospital to home. It was just a distressing and horrific experience I would not want to ever repeat.
