I met one guy from this website, dont know if he was posing like he had money to entertain a sugar baby lifestyle. Anyway he was fat, short and not particularly attractive, he was a gentleman for the most part (but I guess you can pretend to be anything for a couple hours). I was not into him because it seems he wanted a prostitute. Never saw him again.

Fast forward to another chap. We emailed back and forth maybe 3 times maximum before he asks do you need anything? Or let me know if I can get you anything I want to take the best care of you.

Luckily I didnt mention I needed anything, but Lo and behold he offered to send money, sad to say I got excited! Long story short, he claim to have sent $5,000 and I need to pay $500 to collect it as it is a new company and they are not established yet. Using western union and MoneyGram as affiliates.

Similar story about being in Russia military blah blah blah, I have no idea how I didnt find this site before to read the reviews. I didnt send a dollar, the streets didnt raise no fool.

Claims his name is Mike D. Simmons, he sent a ton of pictures, the money transfer is NSI money transfer, the pricks even had a fake website and also a tracking number and so much other things to really get you to believe their scam.

It was well played out and it seems theyve been doing it probably before I was born. No matter what sis, keep an extra eye out... they look for the vulnerable!

Useless website.
April 16, 2015

I used SD4M for two days of the free trial and one person told me he'd give me an allowance if I strip for him on skype. NO $#*! YOU, of course he was lying. I could tell because his picture looked like it was from 2003 and he had no income on his page nor could he tell me where he worked. Then after those two days I asked to cancel the account in three separate emails, but I was getting no response so I cut my card off. THE ONLY WAY TO NOT GET CHARGED IS LITERALLY TO CUT YOUR CARD OFF. They know thy aren't going to let you cancel the membership, because I looked at my account the next day and it said rebilling failed. Why are you rebilling me? The website just plain sucks.

I have a similar experience to the various reviews that I read about. Wesley McLeod sent me his email to email him as he works in Russia as an engineer but he also owns his own construction company. He kept emailing asking if I wanted anything I should tell him. After emailing for a good period of time we exchanged pictures and tried to get to know each other. He then said he was going to send me some money but he works far from the western union in russia. One day I got an email that he sent me $5000 using unistream I got so excited. He said the money can be collected at any Western union or money gram but I have to pay a fee of $500 in order to get it. In this day and age who pays to receive money from thereal I knew it was a scam. The unitarian then messaged me to pay the money to James Camilo in Dallas, Texas. I then message unistream how is it they are a Russian money transfer outlet n I have to send the money to the u. S they did not respond. The next day he got confused and said he sent the money through monito there and then it was more than obvious Another scam artist is Alex Joe He wanted my bank account and password number. One thing for sure is that these ppl are scammers. The site should not be trusted. When sending pictures be careful about identity theft. Also they send email by spam mail so its able to send to many ppl and spam mails is also able to hack your phone and get important information such as credit card number and password. Just be careful.

Useless staff
April 19, 2015

I had not logged in for a while and just suddenly changed my mind about being on there so I tried to log in so I could delete my info and account all together. Turns out I signed up with an email address and password that I don't remember. I tried to contact staff but they just keep telling me to send them my sign up email address. WTF? I contacted you because I FORGOT what I signed up as! Stupid useless people!

EDIT (reply to the sugardaddyforme staff that responded to my review): You people are $#*!ing morons! I clearly said I FORGOT MY SIGNUP EMAIL ADDRESS Proof that your site is a $#*!ing scam, and if it's not then make yourself useful by actually helping people who contact you for support/questions instead of monitoring a review site replying with copypasta comments to every negative review! Get to work!

RUN!
September 9, 2017

This website is everything that all of the reviewers stated who rated it one because there wasn't a negative one available to select.
I've had so many different "sugar daddies" send me the same message as if they copy paste the message. After receiving over 200 messages over three weeks I've started putting two and two together. The language they use is pretty similar. All text messaging. Different pictures and screen names used... but the same bio stating something along the lines stating " I want a honest baby that don't have trust issues." Hahaha which is laughable in itself since they are scam artists! You may have seen some of this language yourself... The conversation will include grammatical errors that teenagers use, refer to you as dear... Hun... No video chatting... Want to send you money to your account and get your passwords to deposit... Ask you to be part of a scam to the bank or credit card company... Etc
I've had it all and seen it all on this one site as I stated in my title RUN save yourself some time.

They prey on an idea that you I looking for a lavish lifestyle provided by a real sugardaddy counting on the idea will do anything for it... Keep in mind~~~ sugar daddy would never ask you to send naked pictures... Send you money and you send some back... hoping your need for an arrangement will Cloud your judgement but open your eyes as we are telling you what it really is why do you need money... Sugar daddy's don't start the conversation off with what kind of arrangement do you like and I will send you $1,000 a week or $500 a week or 100/say. That would not be an intro message. That's a hook to get you to bite!

Very dishonest site
April 1, 2016

The site has thousands of women on there that have left long ago. They never take down a "Sugar Baby" who just lets her membership go without cancelling it. My girlfriend was last on the site in 2006 and she still shows up as a member. Another girl I dated DIED over a year ago and in some of my searches (as a non paying member now) she still shows up as the first SugarBaby and with an active GOLD membership she got 6yrs ago and never renewed. I have been off and on of the site over the last 5 years or so and everytime I get off for a while, the site gets a local Young (I'm 62) gorgeous girl to msg me with the hots for me and when I got back on just for her, she doesn't respond more than one time. The last time I got off was a few months ago and they have a glitch in their software. In that few months I have gotten over 100 msgs in my mail and only ONE was within my 100 mile active area I list in my profile and looking for a guy my age and she was probably a Shill. The rest were from 300+ miles away and 99 weren't looking for anyone over 46. These people are CROOKS. I complained to them about the 100 shills (at that time. I still get 3 or 4 a week) and they denied it of course. I have had a few responses that were genuine, but were pros and I was looking for a Sugar Baby, not a hooker. It's a totally BOGUS SITE.

I have been a pretty active and meticulous user for a month, and nearly didn't get anything out of it.

I was contacted by close to 100 women in total, and contacted a few myself. What I got:
- The ghosts: In 80% of the cases, I responded precisely to what I was getting asked, and never got any follow up.
- The scammers:
(1) they would send me a long email describing what they are after, ask for my email, then never again responding (clearly harvesting my email address for spam)
(2) some would correspond, but clearly they were using something like google translate, because their responses vaguely related to what I wrote, but barely made sense, yet had no single typo. These ones are profiles from women outside the US
(3) one was supposedly stuck in Cyprus and needed money to pay her hotel bill... it was actually quite fun to make her believe I fell for it.
(4) a few were using pictures that were taken from celebrities (easy enough to find that out using the reverse google images feature), and were clearly scammers
These scammers would usually refuse to communicate over the phone, either pretending that it's below them to communicate with someone before he shows that he is not 'cheap', or they would invoke phony reasons why they can not talk (e.g. Their phone does not work)
- The escorts: a few of them just contacted me pretty much for that, i. E. they want to be paid for each meeting, and do not wish any relationship outside of the meetings.

All in all, out of all the women I was in contact with, there were at most 5 with whom I ended up having a beginning of discussion that could potentially lead to a sd/sb relationship.

I think the website does a terrible (yet so easy) job at filtering out scammers, i. E. by having more serious identify checks, checks of profile pictures being shamelessly taken from celebrities, having a more systematic 'review' system allowing to report suspicious behaviour. With this in place, it would clean up a lot of the garbage on the website, making it much more efficient for prospective sd to browse through the profiles.

The website also seems to promote the view that sb are a rare and precious commodity, as if the sd/sb market was similar to the classic dating scene. That leads to many profiles of sbs focussing a lot on 'looking for a man that knows how to treat a lady the way she deserves'. Whilst the reality is that there are way more sbs than sds. There are many profiles of very unattractive women on the website, which no rich guy with a brain would ever want to pay to be with. They are clearly encouraged to be demanding, but it is quite unlikely they will get any interest whatsoever. The website's culture is setting distorted expectations, which in the end doesn't benefit either party.

We're sorry you didn't have a great experience on our site. Please note that while there might be pretend sugar babies (those who ask for money even before you meet), there are a lot of genuine sugar babies as well. Please be assured that we have a complex process in place to filter out any potential fake SDs and SBs as well, and you probably have seen the notification when you sign into your account, warning you of any potential mischief: http://screencast.com/t/EGPzmhrP1. That being said, if a woman asks for money just to meet, don't waste your time with her anymore, and move on to the next one. It might take time to find someone who is perfect for you, but if you're proactive, patient and smart about the way to conduct your "online dating process" you will find that person (or even persons).

I honestly tried to give this site a fair chance. From experience, you are wasting your money on this site. My experience is most profiles are fake, girls not actually wanting to meet or just looking for a handout not anything mutually beneficial. Over a few months I sent messages and when i did get a reply saying they were interested, and I replied they never message back again yet were still on the stie. If these profiles were real from the pictures I viewed, they would be getting hundreds of messages each day and no longer on that site. Also, when I blocked several of the profiles and informed the site about abuse, I found they were still on the site and not removed. You will have better luck going to a bar then finding anyone on this site. There is a reason why when i tried to use my card to purchase credits my bank blocked the charge until I informed them it was me and not a scam.
