Subco Contacted In Style magazine And started a subscription in my daughters name who is a minor. I tried to cancel it and they said I would have to contact Subco and you can't get through to anyone when you call they just hang up. Can someone help me stop this now!
I have attempted to call and cannot get through.
I need an answer to the following question in your response to this review:
A) HOW and WHERE did you get my information (address, FULL name, zip-code)?
B) Why am I being sent magazine subscriptions I NEVER signed-up for?
C) Am I or have I EVER been charged for these?
You now need to remove ALL of the information you have on file for me immediately- including name, address, and ANY OTHER DATA you might have stolen. You also need to inform me of exactly WHERE you got this information from;
> Consumer laws dictate that you are required to provide that answer/information to me.
The only time in my life I have received magazines it was some kind of scam. I sure as hell did not authorize GQ freakin magazine. Stop your scamming $#*! practices!

Thank you Edward for your professionalism, product knowledge and the courteous behavior you demonstrated to me when I called Subco Clearing House located in Fresno, California. I had received a magazine subscription I did not order and Edward handled the matter efficiently and treated me with the utmost respect. He was a delight! Unfortunately, Edward is in a minority of customer service representatives who take pride in their job and elect not to dismiss and rudely "cut off" the customer. I was so impressed with his actions I expressed them to his supervisor Allysha. The world needs more Edwards. Congratulations Subco in hiring a gem.

UPDATE: Thank you for the quick response. The magazines were being sent to a really old address as well as old name. By the time the new tenant met up to provide me with them, it was a years worth :O so I am sure it has bothersome to them as well.

This company should be shut down ASAP they send magazines to people without them ordering them or consent to pay. When you call they NEVER pick up the phone it shocks me that places like this exist. Good luck to anyone who gets a magazine from them!

Got a magazine subscription that I didn't order. I went to the publisher to stop the magazine and was told I couldn't because it came from Subco. What a crap company. Just a bunch of scammers. No way should anyone have to waste their time stopping something they didn't order. If Subco cared, they would contact the individual and make sure they wanted the product or service.

All my concerns were handled on-line with swiffness and very helpful. And I would do business with them anytime and recommend them also.
Did not order a magazine but got a bill, I have spent 2 hours trying to canc. So now they can send it and not get paid. I even sent it back telling them to stop littering my mailbox. Over the phone I cant get past the surveys they want me to take.

I am disabled and retired when last fall I started receiving People and Glamour magazines. I never ordered them and I just got through to. People Mag to cancel and they said they were ordered through Sub Co and gave me a # to call! This is crazy that they just sign you up!
I started to receive two magazines that I did not order. Elizabeth, from customer service called me back right away and was able to help me to stop the subscriptions. She assured me that the subscriptions would b stopped. Thanks Elizabeth!
As of March the 2nd 2020 I have received 3US weekly magazines and one vanity fair. I called US weekly to find out why I am getting these and she said that it came from sub co and gave me the number. I called the number and got a recording that they were closed so I will Call again tomorrow. I don't know why I'm getting these and I do not appreciate it and I will take this action further if I am charge for anything. I want to know how they got my information and why they started sending me these!

Will take your information from scamers and subscribe you to multiple magazines without your consent but when you try to cancel or try to figure out who charged your card they make you jump through hoops

This company will send what ever they can, just to make a sale. Will not correct their mistakes. I have ask for my new and old magazine. I do not speak SPANISH. Now I lost out on some crap, thats not even my fault. BBB is my next call! Don't order from this 3rd party for anything. BAD BUSINESS FOR SURE! I just made the call to People Magazines tells me this is the company that place my order. HORRIBLE SCAMMERS! I have tostarted receiving Cosmo Magazine for some reason. I am in my 70's on a fixed income and would never subscribe to Cosmo magazine for any reason. How did this company get all my banking information? This company in dishonest and is a scam. I would like to know how this compnay got my banking information. I am furious over this. How many other companies or people have my bank information? This has to be illegal! I believe I will press charges. When I finally contacted Cosmo they told me a 3rd party business names SubCo purchased a subscription to Cosmo Magazine in my name with my bank information. How scammy and crooked is that? I am extremely upset!
