My most recent attempt to get support because I could no sign in to my on line account was excessively frustrating. I had to call a second time because the first rep disconnected me after 16 minutes. The second person disconnected me after over 20 minutes. They were both difficult to understand. Will be switching from this carrier.

Very rude customer service person. My brother just passed away and I had been paying for his phone usage. Straight talk would not cancel the contract They said I needed to provide the last three numbers called. He lived in Colorado and I live in Louisiana. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they denied my request. This is terrible service. Very rude customer service person.

Worst customer service. I have TMobile and trying to transfer a number from straight talk. 4 phone calls to STalk and the last call TMobile and my daughter were all connected 1.5 hours later and still no resolution of number being transferred. I'm waiting another 24hours to start the process all over, AGAIN. My advice is never knowingly use this company, they are the worst. Don't even deserve one star.

StraightTalk Sucks

Have been a customer for 10years. Customer service has reached rock bottom, it's beyond horrible. CS dept is outsourced overseas. They bill Straighttalk for 15 minute increments and they get paid in 15 minute increments so plan on spending 30-45 minutes talking to an redundant idiot to then have your call "forwarded" right back into the same call center clownshow.

I am in the process of a better business bureau complaint made by me because of this company didn't refund me correspondly with their return policies as agreed when signing. I have been a loyal customer since a year ago but after being mistreated I am searching for a new provider. This company has no regards towards being a qualified business. I was owed 474.94 for over a month without even just one response by email, writing, or telephone. Very irresponsible business and I want my money back even if I have to go legal with a lawsuit.

Bought a new phone activated it with $35 thirty day service card. Phone deactivated after 5 days. Said they had no record of activation and I would have to buy another $35 card. Had service with them for several years. Going back to prior phone service. Don't like being cheated

Pissed off

They disconnected my service without any notice when my service plan was just purchased a week prior. Forcing me to put a Verizon sim in my phone which I did NOT want to do. Now my phone still isn't working on day 2 and they can not figure it out..

This company hurts

I spoke to different reps that all wanted to know my name but shockingly the one I talked to gave different names but sounded like same person. Breach of privacy from company that promised no contract. Yet by purchasing we should all be protected by usa laws. Someone at bbb should inform them of this. I mentioned to them I wanted reminders of when to refill as they gave in past. Despite this same person fielding and assuring me this was done nothing to date. Also the missing data from my phone is revealing. They need oversight. If not here than from legislators respectful of privacy laws. Minimally. Overreaching I'd ask for security and continuity of plans paid for in advance. Sounds like I'm not alone.

They suck at being helpful. They don't actually listen to your problems just always quick to transfer to the next dept without asking questions. I've been transferred all day and haven't spoken to a single rep. My wait time for being on hold is 2 hours and counting. Don't switch if you don't have to. There are no reps to physically help and I can't get a refund on the service that I bought because I bought it at Walmart and not directly from straigh talk

WORST CELL PHONE CARRIER ON THE PLANET
April 9, 2023

My boyfriend decided to switch from Straightallk to Spectrum and they have held his phone hostage for one week now by not unlocking his phone. Pretty sure this is illegal, especially since he is current on payments. This is criminal and should be stopped

Ok, I had StraightTalk for several years, for a fixed wireless phone. It worked for the rural area I needed it for. The problem came when needing to move to another company.

StraightTalk's web button to get a PIN to release the phone number to another company was broken, and it took in excess of 6 hours of getting bounced to various departments between Straight Talk and Tracfone® to get it straight.

Hold times are long.

They don't hire enough people to answer the phones.

Straight talk wireless continued to charge me monthly for services that I was no longer receiving. Once I contacted them with all relevant account information and transaction numbers they denied I ever had service with them. In total they refused to cancel my account and have forced me to file a dispute and stop pay with my bank to end future payments.

I have been dealing with this company for well over a year. They refuse to unlock my phone so that I can switch companies because they do not have international calling. They tried to tell me I had 46 days left. They tried to tell me the same thing when I called a few months back. I just refilled my phone and they will not even give me a refund because I want to cancel my service with them. I also was on hold for 1 1/2 hours which is unacceptable! I would not refer ANYONE to this company especially if they need international calling or just want to stop service. NO REFUND will be issued back to the customer.

Decided to switch to straight talk. I haven't even received my package in the mail yet and I'm already pissed off with how they handle things. They don't tell you your package requires a direct signature. Then they won't allow you to simply pick up your package from a nearby FedEx bc they state that once the package is purchased they're not allowed to make any changes to how the package is delivered. One that doesn't make sense. Two I'm a single working mother whom doesn't have the ability to stay at home all day waiting for FedEx to drop off my package at any given time in the day. I haven't even begun my plan w straight talk and I'm already canceling this phone service and new plan out. What a waste of time.

So, I like many other people who have gotten tired of raising phone plans costs, I bit the bullet and bought the 99 dollar A12 straight talk phone. What a joke it was slow from the start and I now realize that 23gb of space fill up quick. Okay bought I bought a memory card that doesn't help. I'm order to update apps I have to delete files to make space. I have deleted everything off this phone except essentials. Next goes my photos... DON'T buy straight talk. The Sachin are not worth the hassle...

Today i went to my account with straight talk to see my service end date only to be informed of a alert on both my home and cell phone service, I clicked their links and it said finally a error has occurred. I contacted them and was told in order to maintain my service I had to buy new equipment I asked what about my loyalty to your company a customer for over 10 years they offered nothing if form of discount on new equipment this happened November 16 2019 coming up with money at christmas for phones during holidays and living on a fixed income I can not afford to do this. After this experience I would not recommend this company or any other Tracfone subsidiaries companies. They cant even attach a working link to their webpage their customer service is beyond belief and has to be the absolute worst I have ever experienced in my life. Don't make the same mistake I made go to a real company that knows what customer service is and should be. You have been warned!

Caught Off Guard
July 19, 2022

I have had Straight Talk service for years and have had sporadic issues. This latest issue is the final straw for me. My service cut off in the middle of the day and I could not get it to work again. I contacted customer support only to be told that I need a new sim card and that my current sim card's service is terminated. I was at work trying to figure this out only to be told I'm out of luck and that it was on me for not knowing that they changed providers. I would have gladly changed services if I was informed of such changes. The agent pretty much told me there is nothing to do but wait for a new sim card that would be sent by them.

I purchased one of their BYOP plans. The activation process failed, and I could not get the SIM card to work. It swallowed the entire price of the package (about 60 dollars). I have talked with customer support four times now, with no effect.

I am writing this company off. Never again, worse than any other business that I have ever dealt with.

Trying to use my old number plus add a current unlocked phone now I have no service on my old or new phone and waited 2 hours on hold with straight talk CS just for them to hang up on me. Im out of time to wait on the phone today and I have customers trying to contact me and im loosing buisness due to straight talk. Might cut my losses and use another carrier

There customer service team need more training. I paid for service but my phone never came back on. I have 3 phones with them and every time I call they take 4 hours to just add service. I will be going to another service. I hope everyone stop using this service they never help u when u need it
