I recently purchased wood handrails from Stair Warehouse, and I am really satisfied with my decision. They have a wide range of styles and materials, so I was able to find something that fits perfectly with my space. The handrails are sturdy, easy to install, and comfortable to use. Ordered 4 balusters from website. The description and picture were exactly what I needed. After paying an arm and a leg for shipping, they arrived and were not what was described on web site. I took a copy of receipt (which had a picture on it of the product I that was SUPPOSED to be) and contacted customer service. I sent all needed information that they requested. Customer service told me the item had been discontinued in the last week and they were unable to restock or provide a refund for the items or shipping charges. Out over $200.00 for 4 balusters. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE TAKING RISKS WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!
The title says it all. This company is full of amateurs. I'm convinced the only reason they stay in business is because they happen to get 1 out of every 10 orders correct on accident. If you're okay with a 90% chance of someone dropping the ball with your order, go ahead and buy from stair warehouse.

I could not believe the quality of wood handrail for the price. The shipping was a little pricey but once the nice customer service lady explained it to me, i understood. If i ever have to do another stair project, i will definitely use them!

About a week or two later the company finally refunded me my money minus the 30% restock fee. However never received address to return goods.

I was looking at some items for some work on my home. When I decided to go in another direction. It was a hassle to return the items. I knew there was a 30% restocking fee. However I was informed that it would cost more to return due to shipping. Keep in mind that I was willing to pay my shipping. My total sale was around 53.00 so I asked how much the shipping was when you sent it to me and all I got on the phone was crickets. If you are telling me that shipping is so expensive than how can you stay in business for your self. Don't buy from them if you are in the process of evaluating products for your project.
Not sure why they cannot figure out how to answer the phone, I am worried they are out of business, and their website is out of date
