07-29-14- This was my first time ordering from www.stagestores.com. Everything went smooth until I received an e-mail cancelling my order on 08-01-14 due to "unforeseen inventory issues". Okay, fine I get it, so the e-mail they sent offered me 30% my next order and free shipping for the inconvenience which was awesome, except for the fact that the coupon code expired the day before the e-mail was sent. WTF!? So, I tried to use the code anyway, which failed and I figured it would, but the kicker is that the one item I had ordered, the one that was cancelled, was still available to add to my cart for checkout. I called customer service, she had no explanation for the inventory issue, no comparable coupon code and no apologies. I will never buy from them again.

Rip Off!

They took forever to send and then the dress came and it's super thin and cheap and a waste of money. To return it, they said I'd have to pay to send it back to China which cost more than the dress. Don't waste your money!

STOP CALLING

I have ask Stage Stores more than once to stop calling as soon as i say that. They hang up but the next day there back I have block one phone # but they have more. I have never brought from there stores and never will.

SORRY SERVICE!

I would like to say that this online purchase was the worst experience, first the website wouldn't let me log on, even with "Customer Assistance", therefore I placed order as a guest! Second, this was ordered for a birthday party that was to be received within 10 days and I find out that it has been shipped but will not be here until 14 days! I will NEVER buy anything from these folks again. By the way "Customer Assistance" was terrible all three times I called regarding this order!

My order is taking so long to receive, and each item on the order is arriving by itself in a separate package every couple of days. It's agonizing and so frustrating!
I ordered two eyeliners... one day I got one, by itself, in a package. The other one never came. A few days later, another item from my order showed up. The next week, I got one other item. Today I received one of two fleece items that I ordered. Don't know when the other one will show up.
I'm shocked the company can function and stay open with this type of service. 8 items on the order, only 4 received over a period of weeks.

I highly advise you to stay away from this company!

Disappointed
November 27, 2018

I placed an order for about $200 worth of stuff. It was supposed to be here friday. Never was. Then was supposed to be here saturday. Never was. Finally got my order on monday and im missing over half of my order. I call customer service and she says itll be a few days before she hears back. So I still don't have my items and I gotta wait days to know something. My order better be rushed and here the next damn day. Stage has lost my service. Im pissed. Beyond pissed.

Stagestores ripped me off... I placed an order and cancelled immediately after placing the order. They told me it already processed. BUT, they said they would try to cancel it and would call me to let me know. WELL, they never called me, and it wasn't cancelled. They sent me a free return shipping label and I was charged $8.95 for shipping. I cancelled the order two minutes after I placed it. This company is ridiculous and should be shut down for incompetent reasons and unfair practices. DO NOT SHOP HERE! I'M SERIOUS!

Haven't received my order
December 25, 2016

It has been almost 2 months and I am still waiting for my order (mostly likely am going to ask for my money back or call my credit card company). Do yourself a favor and just order from places you know and trust. I have no clue where my order is, and if you call to find out you are forced to wait for at least 2 hours because there are 100 people ahead of you. If you choose to have them call back... they never do. Absolutely horrid. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Got a simple bra today which was used because of the strong lemon detergent odor and you can tell that someone had taken out the tag and later stuck into the bra because it was put back in a wrong part of the bra lol. The bra came with a big sensor that was visible and I couldn't take take it out! Who was that blind? The same bra also had a hole and that hole was hand sewn lol this was a disaster and I feel like here is no way they can be serious with this service they must be playing a prank on people. I called to complain but the automated message said that the wait is over an hour so I waited... never got to speak to anyone so now I have contacted my bank to file a claim to resolve this on my behalf. I don't have the energy to waste another hour of my life on these idiots.

The Beall's store in Fredericksburg, Texas has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experieced in my entire life. I have walked out after twice after standing in line for over 20 minutes with only one person in front of me. The cashiers at this store are the worst, I wish I could name names. I will never shop in this store again. Walmart is 100% better than the Beall's in Fredericksburg.

They are very shady. I placed an order on the 24th of July. They canceled part of the order, on the 25th they canceled another part of the order, then on the 26th they canceled the rest of the order. Each time an email was sent saying a refund would take up to 7 days. Well 7 business days came and went, so I call 11:24 till 1:32 on hold with customer service. This was after I sent 3 emails and they didn't respond with in 5 days(still no response). CS finally gets on the phone and the response was we really have 10 business days before we have to refund. I replied my email states 7 days. The CS rep said ya but we have 10 business days. It's amazing that it took 3 cancellations to figure out they didn't have the inventory and CS says 10 days while they are sending out emails that say 7 days. It seems they can not get it together. Why would you run mass sales at the end of the month, cancel more than half of them ((4 of my friends purchased on the same sale & all of their orders were canceled as well)) then not refund for weeks? Interest drawing accounts, I would assume just waiting till the end of the month!

If I could give StageStores negative stars I would thats what they deserve! SLOW SHIPPING heard nothing for 2 weeks! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE lady on other end of phone absolutely no help on giving me time frame when item would be shipped let alone when it would arrive! Gets WORSE Horrible Product! Finally got shoes and OMG are these are either cheap counterfeits or total reject shoes from factory strings falling off or threads so loose side of shoe literally falling a part! Had to get money back via CC got nothing from StageStores at all!

This is the first time ordering online with Stage.com. No problem placing order, however if you need to edit or change or cancel the order in as little as a couple hours later, calling to cancel is a long hold time, and your order may or may not get cancelled before they actually submit your cancelled status, thus leaving you with the order still being delivered 7 to 10 days supposedly, and the hassle of finding a store or returning it or sending back to company for refund. Most likely that time frame will be weeks since it is holiday season. My opinion is that online with this company should be easy to edit cancel or correspond. This website is not for me, who has time to go back and forth calling more that once to check status and hold for 45 min or longer on phone to make sure things are entered correct or handled as reps state. Very disappointed that something so simple could be taken care and now this has created extra stress for me and more things to do during the busiest time of the year. Debbie P

Hi, new here and first time I order online from this store. My teen daughter just started high school where no uniform is required, so I was looking for sales online and I came across stage with a fantastic offer few days ago of buy one get 2 free. I was so happy I when crazy. The next day I received an email staying:
"Thanks for your Stage Stores order.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but your recent order, didn't pass our order validation checks and has been cancelled as a result. Please contact your issuing bank or select a different form of payment then try again."
I was like what? Called my bank and I was told there was no issue and they couldn't find any problem with transaction. Called stage the lady I spoke to told me she was going to call some central no sure what exactly and will be back to me. Well today I received a refund from them. You can imagine my disappointment and worse I had already show my teen all the clothing I had order for her. Not cool stage not cool at all.

I bought clothes from Stage in Zachary, Louisiana, with my personal credit card. The clerk offered me "free" goodies (magazines)... All I had to do was give them my email address & mailing address to receive the "FREE" goodies... Well, Stage handed out my credit card info to these other companies, WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE, NOR PERMISSION! Now I am being charged HUNDREDS of dollars for these FAKE "FREE" GOODIES (SCAM!). If you are offered any "free" goodies at your checkout, SAY NO! OR PAY ONLY WITH CASH! If you pat with your credit card, they will give your info out, without your knowledge and permission, & you will be charged for these "free" goodies! IT'S A SCAM! NOBODY GIVES THINGS AWAY FOR "FREE" ANYMORE! Guess I should have known better. Beware of Stage Clothing Stores! They are theives!

I made 2 recent purchases online within a few days of each other. The 1st purchase took a week to process, was charged to my cc and showed "completed" on my Stage account dashboard. I followed up on tracking just to find out the order was cancelled by Stage because the item wasnt available. I complained to customer service and it took 10 days to credit my account. I was following my 2nd purchase as this was going on with the 1st. And it took 2 weeks for the Stage dashboard to show that 2 of the 6 items I purchased were cancelled by stage. The total amount including the s/h had been charged 3 days prior to this info being updated online. Items cancelled are no longer available. My cc has not been credited the difference of those cancelled item amounts. I complained to customer service and was sent an online coupon for 30% next purchase... JOKE! That coupon can only be used on full priced items. Funny, though. One of my cancelled items is available at Stage again, at a higher price than what was advertised when I purchased it. It is a shell game when you order online with Stage/ Bealls... so good luck!

HOURS OF MY LIFE WASTED
December 27, 2018

So today I tried to order the Clinique foundation that I use from home because they have closed all their stores near me. I tried to do this using the Stage Stores app. The app is horrible! It is very slow and messes up non stop. After a half hour or more of fighting with it I decided to just go online. After finding the makeup I was trying to get and placing my order it kept saying there was an issue and that my order could not be placed. I checked to make sure all of my information was correct several times yet could not get the order to go thru. I tried the app again and this time couldnt even get it to let me log in. I called to try to place the order over the phone and it took over 3 hours to finally talk to a represenative! Over 3 hours! & then I could hardly understand the damn lady they had me talking to! I hung up because I was so aggravated from dealing with several hours of bull$#*!. So I guess tomorrow I am just going to have to drive out of state to the nearest Goodys with a Clinique counter to try to get what I want since they make it such a head ache trying to order it from home.
