I was trying to use Firefox, but it kept saying "You must supply either a source or a customer id" at the end of the checkout process. I had to switch to Internet Explorer.
In the past, I have purchased SSL certificates elsewhere, and I still shop around regularly, but for the last several years, I always arrive at the conclusion that SSLs.com (formerly CheapSSLs.com) is BY FAR the #1 best place to buy ANY/EVERY time of SSL certificate. They haven't always been perfect, but they have always listened to feedback and responded well. For example, in early 2013, I complained that CheapSSLs.com did not accept American Express although its sister/parent company Namecheap did. Today, SSLs.com does accept AmEx.
So at this point, it has become pretty hard to find fault with SSLs.com, but I do still have one minor pet peeve: The SSLs.com site allows multiple credit cards to be stored, but it will only store one Billing Address. In other words, SSLs.com assumes that all of my cards have the exact same Billing Address (which is not currently true for me). It would be more convenient if each card could save its own Billing Address.
Information on the sequence of purchasing and installing could be presented on the activation page without requiring navigation to where the requirements are listed.
Also, it would be good to allow any user within the domain to receive emails, not just the standard admin, hostmaster, etc. Most of the sites I deal with don't have these addresses defined.
Nice and easy. I think the installation is going to be what really gives value - does ssls.com help you learn how to install these?
Good
I had some issues with a faulty CSR - chat-support was very friendly and quickly made sure I could re-submit my CSR to create a new cert. Impressive good service - with "no questions asked"...
The only thing I see as missing is a message as to what to expect as the next steps for getting the SSL and putting it where it needs to go.

Answer: I have been using them for a couple of years and the certificates work fine for ecommerce.
