I was only on for 15 or 20 minutes before Erica Unit 56 answered my call. Erica was so professional and so polite and was also so helpful. She was able to give me the basic information that I needed for my Tax Return. I am so happy to be able to send a very positive review and I cannot recall ever speaking to a Social Security counselor who was as professional and as helpful as was Erica Unit 56. My experience frankly brought tears to my eyes as I was overwhelmed with just how nice and helpful Erica was. I am so glad that I am able to recognize such a wonderful and professional experience. Lastly she wished me a Happy New Year and I wished her the same. I am a sappy guy and the tears came, but they were really happy tears. God Bless Erica Unit 56
For over a year I have been trying to get into my account. For over a year I wait and get worthless pin resets and just keep going in circles. Then the agents are utterly useless and have attitudes up the kazoo. I just want a copy of my statement for crying out loud. I am so done waiting 2 weeks for everything and then to be told oh hang up go a a fax and we will fax it. Seriously? I waited 30 minutes just to get through. Now you want me to do that again! This is the worst business you can ever have the privilege to get information from.

I had to listen to a recording for way too long and then still put on hold - and it keeps telling me to get on line and take care of what I need - does anyone work? And by the way, on hold now for 15 minutes and still no human on the other end
I asked for a copy of my benefits at different ages would be to be mailed to me. No response except to pay more money to talk to an expert. I just wanted the statement mailed to me.

The people at the social security office in my view are primarily useless and do not want to do their job. All I needed to know is why a payment was issued and they could not tell me and wanted to set up an appointment just for that. I talked to Todd & Perry in the same day and they both did not know what they were doing. I waited two and a half hours to talk to someone and then they cannot tell me anything. They made a payment error so any one on SS needs to watch them. Make sure your benefit letter is the same as your payments. It took them a year to figure it out & fix it. Trump & the republicans has made senior care go to the dogs. Don't have to worry about the service cause there is none! I just wanted to let people know in my opinion DO NOT TRUST THEM! QUESTION EVERYTHING! THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
I am no more clear then going into the office in person. Unreasonable requests, and a typical inefficient government monstrosity. Unfortunately, I didn't expect anything more from this agency. 2 words, "private sector!"
