I am an ice carver. Every week, I work with incredibly powerful and dangerous tools. I purchased this jacket because I was looking for something that would keep me warm and dry while I worked with the ice.
I recently had a near miss with a high-powered cone sander, and this jacket saved my arm! The sander got caught in the outside of the jacket and didn't even touch the liner - I walked away without a scratch. It is truly a miracle that I did not end up in the hospital. If I was wearing a thinner, less puffy jacket I would no longer be able to use my left arm.
I am incredibly grateful for the quality of this jacket! I have recommended this jacket to my ice carving colleagues so that they can have the same level of protection as I did.

Nice looking jacket. My son thought the fit was perfect as he will be wearing layering underneath and he liked the longer fit so the snow won't go up his back. Can't remark on the warmth as he hasn't worn it yet.
