I always use Skiplagged to find great flights that are cheapest and also often times not available at the low fare on the airlines site as is on Skiplagged. Highly recommend checking here first.

Recently, I checked my confirmation number with the airline and there is no such ticket booked (return- July 24). I have contacted the customer care and they were not responsible for the ticket now if I need a ticket I have to pay extra 500$ for new booking.and my previously paid money was lost.please don't buy tickets.

I used to book air flights through Skiplagged.com and was earning credits through their "rewards program" in the process. However, after trying to redeem these credits to utilize for my next flight, I would always get an email from the airlines telling me that there was something with wrong my payment. Mind you, this happened 3 separate times and not once did it ever work. Although, they would reimbursed me back with credits, I felt that they were always laughing at me as they knew it wasn't going to work. AVOID SCAM!
I used Skiplagged for a family trip. They advertised a flight on Spirit Airlines that never existed. The departure time was 3:47 pm per Skiplagged and that was the time given in their confirmation email. When I got the Spirit Airlines confirmation the flight did not leave until 8:39 pm that day. This flight was the same flight number and everything! When talked to Spirit customer service there was never a flight available at that time. Skiplagged does not have a customer service phone number, only email. The email was a bs answer blaming Spirit Airlines. So horrible! Do not use or trust anything you see on there!

They advertise you can cancel free within 24 hours, but only get a credit back. On top of that it is a 99 dollar fee to use the refund. I spent 118 dollars on a ticket and only got 19 dollars of travel credit (not even money refund) back and have to use it within the next few months. Very deceitful company.
It's a great idea - when it works. You risk having to repurchase your flight at the airport. My husband booked a flight on skiplagged, it was somehow flagged in the airline's system. They cancelled his flight and forced him to repurchase at the full price. We paid the skiplagged price + the full price. This is NOT clearly explained on the skiplagged website.
Skipped lag are thieves! This company does not have a phone number for a reason. They only communicate through email so they can ignore customers that are requesting refunds. First i was told 1-2 business then 3-5 and then 10-15. We are already on the 15th business day and now they ignore my emails. They charged my card fraudulently for $768.20 and I have been trying to communicate with them but they give me the runaround/ignore me as if they are trying to keep my money. Be careful with Skiplagged and be prepared to fight for your money if you ever need it returned from them.
I requested insurance, received confirmation. When I call 4days prior to flight I was told no because I had not purchased it. When I told the rep that I had confirmation, I was told that it didn't matter. As they had not purchased it. I told her if they could not I should of receive a called. I received no explanation and I asked for manager. I told I get a phone sometime I have not.
I cancelled my trip they said I cn use the amount as credit for later travel, /after someday I want to use for a an onway trip, I can see a price in the ski-lagged website when I called them to book for it, they say a different price, which is way more than what a purchased for. When I ask them why is that price difference and they say when I rebook it, I can't go with the price which is shown in the website. Its literally looting the your money. Their cancellation credit policy sucks. Don't book here.
I booked a ticket for a certain day and they changed the date that's the first thing. Than I booked another ticket said it was going only to Charlotte North Carolina than after I paid for it they changed it that the flight was going to Orlando Florida. I couldn't get on the flight because they wanted me to put my carry-on under the plane and I was going to Charlotte Nc. I drive truck and I couldn't get to my truck because I just I spent money on 2 flights that was false I'm contacting my lawyer because I feel like they need to compensate me for my losses horrible place to book your tickets from. The don't have no contact number to speak to nobody this how u know they scamming people. This situation is not the airlines fault they are lying about flights I need to be reimbursed for my flight.
I purchased a ticket on their website and there was no service fee that showed on the final page of the transaction. I then saw a $46 service fee on my credit card! They wouldn't reverse it so I needed to file a formal complaint with the BBB and contest it with my credit card company. They also sold me a flight on Kiwi that didn't exist. Even though our credit card was charged, we arrived at the airport and were told that that flight doesnt exist. We then had to scramble at the last minute to reserve another flight for which we paid triple the price. Horrible.
After using skiplagged for years, I tried to use my skiplagged rewards to book a flight. I was directed to a link where you have to fill out a "fraud prevention survey" (which is basic information about yourself that anyone could know), which apparently takes 2 weeks to review before they let you use your rewards. I filled out the survey and waited, and never received a message that my rewards were released for my use. Nowhere in their terms and conditions does it say you need to fill out a survey to use what you earned. I reached out to customer service over email and received a nonsensical response that they let people access rewards much faster than other airline reward programs and that they will try to expedite it. I waited more than 2 weeks and reached out again and received no response. It looks like they must have blocked my email or something because I tried sending more follow up emails and they didn't go through. I reached out on Instagram and nobody responded. Don't use them to book anything-- you won't be able to use your rewards and with the service fee to book on their app, it's not worth it. They have zero customer service and are scamming people by making it seem like they can use the rewards they earned; they then make it impossible for you to redeem them. Just look up flights that could work for you on the app and book direct with the airline and save yourself the aggravation.
I bought my fiancé a plane ticket from this website, just like all of the real reviews show the type of company that is scamming people and you can actually get banned from airlines also could be sued in the court of law by the airlines!

Just because you have money to spend doesn't mean you have to. Skip lag is always help me find the best flights at the best prices! They are always my first go to.
Don't use Skipplagged. I recently purchased a ticket for $360, and I called American Airlines. My ticket DID NOT EXIST. I gave them the confirmation number and customer service said they cannot find my ticket. So basically, I spent money for no reason, and nobody can tell me where my money went. They gave me the run around and told me to contact my airline agency. I asked customer service, "Can I get in trouble for using Skipplagged?" and he said, "Well... to avoid getting in trouble, I can sell you a seat." Why would I have to PAY FOR A SEAT? I already paid for my ticket, so I asked for a refund. The customer service man, David, told me I had to pay $75 for a refund that I "might" get back. So, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE AVOID SKIPPLAGGED. I had to call my bank to get my money back. Do yourself a favor and just pay for a real, legit airline.
They do NOT have customer service. If that's all you read on this review then I've done my part. App worked well the first time I used it and since then has been a total pain in the $#*!. Like others in the comments, I too have run into payment issues. The app will tell me I'm booked and then the next day say they couldn't book my flight at the stated price and I now need to pay more. Or the charge took forever to show up on my debit card. I'm not talking about "pending transactions"…I'm talking like the charge was nowhere on the card in the first place. The next time I used it (I know, I know, fool me once.) my debit card wasn't charged for days. I actually liked this because I wanted to take a train instead so I canceled the flight before I could be charged and had to deal with getting a refund. Lo and behold a few days later the United Airlines charge comes through on my debit card AFTER I already cancelled. Now I'm overdrawn in my debit card and the cherry on top, Skiplagged has NO customer service to try and help me on this. Never again. There's plenty of other good services out there, I recommend you try those.
