“Last Update/ Also Beware of Stack Commerce!”

Heard from Maggie from Support Heroes after 7 days of writing to her. Said vendor had not gotten back to her yet, (Another 7 days). Everything is 7 days. I've given up. I'm waiting 2 weeks and disputing the charge with CC company. Before buying first time from any site, check the FAQ's. Very telling. From PC World FAQ's... 1) Do you offer refunds? Answer- No, all sales are final. (I guess even if you receive nothing). The reason they give is a) Because our products are heavily discounted and b) Only offered for a limited time. Okay, what does that have to do with anything involving a refund? RED FLAG! 2) Do you have phone support? Answer-No. Because we work with 1000's of vendors. We can't offer the same level of support with phone as we can with email. Again- RED FLAG! Amazon deals with 10,000's of vendors, and I can call them and speak to someone in minutes. Plus Amazon can call their vendors. It seems PC World lives in email hell. No phone support because they would never stop ringing. Plus with email, they can wait DAYS before responding, or not respond at all. Plus vendors can do the same. Wait days, or not respond at all. DOUBLE RED FLAG! Plus in their FAQ's there is a 1) What to do if your package is lost in transit or stuck. I have been buying and selling online for over 20 years, and this is the first time a package has been "Lost in Transit." Very First. I called UPS, and they said they never took possession of this package. Only a LABEL was printed. So, now they are proven liars. And who has heard of a package being "Stuck!" RED FLAG! Support Heroes is part of Stack Commerce. I guess saying Support Heroes is supposed to give a person confidence that professionals are on the case. Believe me, if I hadn't kept pestering these con artists, I would have never heard back. And when I do, it's in SEVEN DAYS! I last heard from Maggie on 03 05/21. She said as soon as she hears from the vendor and has a tracking number she would be in quick contact. So, I'm going to not write anymore, and see if I'm contacted in 2 weeks. If not, I'm filing a dispute with the mountain of emails I've sent, along with a bevy of excuses, and I'll suggest they need their ability to use Visa taken away. At this point I know there is no router. Probably never was a router. I believe they are just going for 1 time sales, with no actual products to sell. This is COVID-19 scam service. BTW, they also sell software. And in their FAQ's there is a section on, "What do I do if my code (Software Code) doesn't work? It is there because they will never give you a code that works. In closing, stay away unless you like to be stressed-out and have money to throw away. If you have that kind of money. Give it to charity. At least your money might do some good. Because with PC World Sales and Stack Commerce, you're just giving them money for nothing. I hope this helps someone.

Maggie got back to me on the 25th of Feb., 7 days after our last contact. Took vendor 5 business days to respond to her. I found out the vendor is... Asus. Vendor told her that it was "Lost in Transit." I believe since only the label was created, it never left the shipping area. Vendor said they'd get right on it. Well, it's March 3rd, and nothing has changed. No new tracking number. No updates to my order on PC World. Yesterday I wrote to Asus. I'm sure it will be at least 5 days, if ever, that I hear from them. If this is how they do business, I'm sure customer support is a very busy place. I think I have been patient. Will write Maggie again on Thursday if nothing has happened. That will be 5 business days from when Asus said they'd "Get right on it." Haven't heard from Diana again after the one time she said she would, Personally look into this matter." Beware! I'll post again if any change... and if I can get a refund.

Tip for consumers:
My only tip is...Buy from someone else. No matter how good the price seems.

Ordered a router on 02/11/21. Next day I received an email it had shipped. After watching UPS tracking for 5 days, it said, and still says "UPS Ready For Shipment." Down below it says, "Label Created." Here were are 13 days from date it supposedly shipped, and nothing has changed. Contacted support... Support Heroes. The 1st hero, Maggie said, "so sorry for the inconvenience, I'll contact vendor plus give you a $10 credit for a future order." The old play fetch with the dog, but pretend to throw the ball, and hide it behind your back. 2 days later she said still waiting to hear from vendor. 5 days later nothing. So filed 2nd complaint. My new "Hero," Diana said, "So sorry, I will personally contact vendor. Still waiting. 13 days after it "shipped" UPS still waiting for item. Label created. I did today what I should have done before ordering, I googled shop.pcworld.com reviews. I can't find one positive review. I realize I'm screwed. In closing, in these Covid times, look up the company before you buy. Make sure they will give refunds. Heroes move mountains to help, but I got buried under an avalanche of debris.
