Beware -- when they say All Sales Final (in tiny letters at the bottom of the item description), that includes items that are defective. I checked the return policy (14 days) and missed the exclusion for some items. And this is really cheaply made merchandise. My advice -- avoid this vendor! I just wasted $55 on a charger that doesn't work.
I purchased the Microsoft Office bundle and tried to download and install it. I have tried multiple times and each time get an error code. MS Office support (at least that's who they say they are) has said I must pay $139 to get a software program that will secure my internet. Until I pay it, I cannot download the software. Buyer beware. This is a scam!
The support link site just takes you to "zendesk" and after agreeing to a bunch of stuff, to a a blank page. It is a scam. The external drive I purchased in not really a 2TB drive at all as does not function. Garbage.
I bought some software through MacWorld Shop and encountered some glitch trying to download the software from the supplier. The support staff was extremely patient working with me and did solve the problem to my complete satisfaction.
Ordered from MacWorld Shop (like their news, terrible e-com) and package was lost, they have NO CUSTOMER PHONE SUPPORT so I used their online support (no chat!) and my lost package complaint got a nonsensical response regarding the redemption of loyalty points. When I clicked on the "track Package" it just took me to the order, no package tracking. Very amateurish, site glitches... just terrible! Come on MacWorld do not ruin your longstanding good reputation with this terrible StackCommerce e-com site. Go find something better (by the way, just try calling the StackCommerce ph number... *******768 and they make it clear you will NOT be speaking to anyone!
I'm only giving them one star because youy can't give zero, which is what they deserve... or negative (minus 5). I purchased a "lifetime subscription" for Microsoft Office Professional, which seemed to work for 6 months, then failed, with messages that my subscription had expired when I tried to open and work on a powerpoint I had just created a few days prior! When I tried to reinstall the software, Microsoft told me the product key had already been used... well, duh! Of course, it was me who used it! I tried again and again, got repeated instructions from Macworld "Help" (Hah!) to do the same thing (Freud said that was the definition of insanity!) Then I went to Microsoft for help and after an hour of trying to help me, they researched the key and told me it was UNAUTHORIZED! I believe this company may be doing illegal business.
There is no logical path to ask why my lifetime license for MS Office is a recurring bill not the one time bill.
There is NO support and the company states that once the product key is activated the digital product cannot be returned. They have a detailed procedure for activating their digital downloads, but apparently it is just BS because the process does NOT work. I have just lost $81.96 ($79.97 + $1.99 handling). I'm contacting my credit card company and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If they have a Facebook Page I will make a public complaint there, too.
