I bought 20 sweatshirts from Arena which weren't available in Australia, for a team of Australian swimmers. The service was excellent and efficient. I had trouble verifying my Amex via the transaction statement but the support team at Shippn found away to satisfy themselves. The host was efficient and my package moved quickly thru their hands and onto myself with FedEx- all with good tracking. It's recommended and I'd use again.
Shippn is not trustworthy. I ordered their Buy-For-Me for a product cost $241.62. Once they get paid, I then started a conversation with the host. But the host keep saying there is no response from seller for 2 weeks. Then Shippn cancelled the order. The host said he did not get paid for anything, and didn't cost him a penny because he just send email to seller without any reply. However, Shippn refused to refund. I then filed dispute with PayPal Mastercard. To me surprised, Shippn told the credit card company the fund is non-refundable and I have agreed their term-of-service when I order their service. This payment includes the cost of merchant, and shipping. Since they didn't pay anything, they shouldn't keep the money. What a thieve and scammer. Call the number on the website, never got answer.
The guy I was working with to receive my parcel was on vacation or something and wasn't even available to receive the item. Pretty ridiculous! And it was a limited item so I was banking on this service to work. It's not a scam, but I would say unreliable. Because why would you try to receive an item if you're not even home, lol. In the end I lost $15 that wasn't refundable and had very little communication throughout the process. I initiated most of the communication. Not a good experience but worth trying if you are desperate
My first purchase with Shippn was great. Customer service answered all my questions in a timely manner, received my products in 4-5 days, the refunded me for the change in weight and dimensions of my package. Everything was great until my sencond purchase...
I accidently purchased the service and paid with a card I had previosuly used. I asked for a refund as I was not going to use their service and they issued it right away. In my first purchase, I used a second card which was used to pay for the difference in dimensions, later refunded. This card was not used in the second purchase yet Shippn charged this card the verification charge.
Please note that the card I actually used was not charged the verification charge, but the other one did. My card/account was blocked due to fraud because my bank could tell that my card information was taken from a website/database and not an actual purchase.
I have contacted customer service and they keep saying they don't keep information, but based on this, they obviosuly do. I URGE YOU TO BE CAREFUL AS THEY KEEP YOUR INFO WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT!
This is the actual response from a customer service agent
"If the user uses more than one credit card, the system will try to verify both credit cards to make sure that the cards are only being used by their owners. This is in effort to protect our shoppers."
This translates to them keeping your info to verify ALL THE CARDS YOU HAVE USED!

We try to verify shopper's credit cards by placing a small charge less than $1 USD. After that they need to check their statement and enter the exact amount they see for the Shippn charge.
Our shoppers can delete their credit card information from their profile settings and also can request to delete their entire account from our database.
