When i joined, i specifically asked for white caucasian women.is that what i got? NO!
I recieved matches for afro american, asian hispanic ect. I complained and the c/s told me to terminate my non refundible membership. WHAT A SCAM!
I am a stained glass artist in the high end glass art and when I posted my art work they took it down and implied that it was someone else and that it was 2nd or 3rd party work. I threatened them with legal action on their liable statements and they allowed me to post. Then I guess a shift change came alone and removed more works and some that had been previously approved. I think there are enough people to create a class action lawsuit even if the lawyer gets all the money, I don't care I just want some justice... OH and I was sucked in with the free account - all of a sudden there seemed to be activity on my free trial and I paid and found it to be 4 statements from the company.
This website is a ripoff. Once you cancel, they continue to charge you for services. Once you dispute charges, they don't want to refund charges after speaking with them. Further, the quality members is extremely poor.
I agree, seniormeet is a rip off and they trick seniors into believing its free when it is not. They hook you in and then tell you it's free but then they need $11.95 a month for you to view messages. When you give them your card, they charge $75.00. What a rotten thing to do to seniors. Many of the men on the site are dangerous predators who have cut and pasted stock photos of nice looking American men, but when you engage them in conversations they can't even write in english. They always are in love at first site and want to talk off site with your phone number and personal information required. Be carfull, these guys are not looking for a date but for someone to rip off.
Huge scam. Fake profiles. Lie after lie. All about getting your money. While I was a paying client I rarely was contacted my anyone on the site. After I canceled my paid membership, within 24 hours I had 68 views on my profile, 17 likes, 15 yes's, and 38 flirts. Hmmmm you think it could be fake profiles? Haha
I have friends and myself who have tryed to have our profiles removed but they still have them on their site. Beware if u put a photo on, they will keep it forever.
Many, many are people who are no longer on their site. Beware.
Signed up thinking it was only going to cost me $12.95 for ONE month. Decided it wasn; t for me, so canceled the next day. Got my credit card bill... it was for the 6 MONTH sign up... over $80.00! Steer clear of this site for your own good!
Signed up for the trial and, expected good things to happen. Noticed right away the cancel none reoccurring monthly payment button was stuck. Also got taken for another $10 using some stupid attention getting app on the site. It's a very poor traffic site. Custumer services is unhelpful with, the same excuse lines. No phone directly to the actual company. They even lied to my bank saying that I remained a member and billed me after I, had canceled. Just don't get stupid okay? I dispise this company.
I signed up for one month of membership, a couple of weeks later, just wanted to make sure that my membership is not turned on to Auto Renewal (due to an earlier experience from one of their other sites) and guess what, it was turned on to auto renewal and I was charged 6months membership fee where I ONLY subscribed for 1 month.
Inspite of writing to them I did not hear back for over 48 hrs.
Be Aware... These websites with XXpeoplemeet.com have this problem. I had a similar problem a year ago with their SingleParentMeet.
These practices continue with these websites. Always check yr billing on yr card.
This is nothing but a gambling site with algorityms built in to make you feel you have plenty of contacts. These people aren't really writing to you, it's the site that is doing it so that you will respond to someone. It's really ashame that they are ripping people off and making millions.

My fiancee wouldn't talk to me for a whole day as she assumed that I was on your $#*!ing site cheating you $#*!s. How dare you invade my privacy and life with your bull$#*! page on my laptop you $#*!ers. Pull this $#*! again and I will report you the BBB. You suck and if you are that sucky a $#*!in singles program that you have to insinuate yourselves onto my desktop then you can all go $#*! yourselves got it!
I joined Our Time a year or so ago. I did find several people I was interested in, but they all lived 150 to hundreds of miles away. All others I found were poorly educated (some high school, high school, some college), quite conservative, and think that a turn on for a woman is a big, pot-bellied man holding up a huge fish he just caught (seems to be the majority of profiles). Of all the flirts and likes that I receive every day, most turn out to be repeats of old posts or bogus. Now my profile photo looks pretty good, but I have never had anyone favor me. The only person I actually met on this site, who claimed to be a caring gentleman (not!) turned out to be merely interested in using women for sex, then moving on to someone else. I too, cancelled my account and was charged the next month anyway. After months, I felt so lonely and decided to give it another try. This time I joined Senior People Meet and learned only later is is doubled up with Our Time. It's the same old story--several months of searching with no luck, and again, I will have to figure out how to really cancel so they don't continue to charge me. Have you noticed there is no way to contact a real person to complain? So I give up. Dating sites, I have concluded, are only wishful thinking and I'll just have to be content with living the rest of my life alone.
Do not join. They are affiliated with Match. Com. You will have to change your charge card to get off.
Why was the ability to contact SeniorPeopleMeet made difficult to impossible, for people to find. Nothing user / member friendly about conducting business that way.
I phoned the number given on my card statement and it was not a valid number. This leads me to believe the negative reviews, in reflection of my own experiences on the site.
Though I agreed to try it out for a month, my card was charged for 6 months last October and it is only now that I've found any information about this site, that will be given to those who are investigating this scam.
Yes it is possible to meet someone within your locality you connect with, though my 2 meets were bad experiences. Sure the one was married or in a committed relationship, with how he responded to questions over coffee. Asked if I ever seen him out and about with another woman, not to acknowledge that he had ever met me, but if I wanted to make plans for something, to call him in morning. Did once but he had plans, then the message came that he wanted to pursue a special interest. Totally convenient, as he knew I would not tolerate being with a cheat.
Found site a waste of time and to even think that another clown I engaged with in correspondence is probably some twit kid sitting behind the screen and having their laugh.
I joined SeniorPeopleMeet after reading a newspaper article on the growing number of silver surfers meeting up with each other for friendship and companionship. I must say that I was a little sceptical at first and did feel that there was still something of a stigma behind the online dating fad. However, my opinion has slowly turned around, to the point that im actually now meeting gentlemen in the city/ surrounding areas every couple of weeks or so! Its not all through SeniorPeopleMeet, I joined PrimeTimeLove.com too in order to compare it and have ended up using them both. I usually go for high tea or to the theatre (with pre-drinks) for the dates but would recommend going to a class with your match, as its a far better way to interact and see them out of their comfort zone! It also ensures that you always have something to talk about, for example if you do a pizza making workshop or salsa class, there is little room for awkward silences and you end up having a great night, even if you decide not to meet again. To conclude my review, I dont know if ill find the mythical L O V E, as a stout 54 year old I had all but given up long ago, but I have been pleasantly surprised by using two sites at just how generous and interesting most of the men I speak to can be. I guess you could say that Im very much converted to online dating now!
This company, People Media out of Texas is nothing more than a fraudulant bunch if lying thieves. They have "representatives" bombard you with flirts to get you to upgrade to a more expensive plan, then as soon as you do you dont get so much as a hello. And if you lodge a complaint they remove your photo, accussing you of attaching your contact information, knowing full well that no such thing happend. No photo, no contact. THEY ARE THIEVES THROUGH AND THROUGH
No complaints about SeniorPeopleMeet. Not sure if it will take me to the highs that primetimelove has done over the past 12 months but time will tell. So far so good!
I paid using VISA card. Account has been charged. BUT, when I click on messages or use a VIEW option the site takes me to the SIGN up page / renewal page. It is not working right. We need to FIX it or I'll notify VISA of a reversal for lack of service, HELP!
I signed my mother up for this site and helped her communicate on it. The MAJOR PROBLEM is that they don't mention that you're automatically signed up for auto renew. They told me that they did notify me at the beginning, which is laughable. I'm sure it was disguised in the smallest font type. It also took me a lot of searching on the website to stop the auto renew. PLEASE BEWARE. THIS IS A SCAM.
SeniorPeopleMeet makes it hard to get in touch with them. When you make a complaint they send you a form letter telling you what you 'should' do to handle it but they will not respond with any help With your problem at all
HERE'S THEIR PHONE #... *******065... if you want to try to talk to them... GOOD LUCK!
Answer: Yes, Brian, I would like to think the persons we are trying to meet maybe left the site or found someone. The bottom line is this, I have never ever heard anything positive about this Web site. It makes me ill sending you messages you can't read until you pay more than as you look at the advertising the clock is running. No worries we all got ripped off it happens
