My co-worker hasn't received the plant yet, so I'll update when I hear how it went. But the ordering process was very dishonest. It added a code for free delivery, but when I hit 'confirm order' it bumped me back to the shopping cart. When I went through the entire payment process AGAIN it no longer had the free delivery. When I asked about this they sent cut and paste emails saying a bunch of gobldy gook about how their 'sales' and carts work. AFTER I SENT PHOTOS OF EACH PAYMENT PAGE one w/ the discount one w/out! They didn't even acknowledge they knew what I was talking about! They just picked a cut and paste and sent. SEVERAL TIMES. I paid $85 for a $6 plant to be delivered and you can't afford a human to read my message?! Never using this bot-run site again.
DO NOT USE THIS $#*!TY COMPANY! Made a major mistake when I decided to give this company a shot for the delivery of my mom's flowers for Mother's Day. I specifically ordered the flowers to be delivered the day before mothers day as I know it gets very busy. Not only were they not delivered on the scheduled day, but when I called on Mother's Day to ask where they were, fafter waiting 20 mins to talk to someone, they told me they were "unsure" of the status and would call me with an update. Few hours later, called to follow up as I didn't hear from them, and after waiting another 20 mins to talk to a live agent they once again "didn't know where they were and could not guarantee delivery time". WTF?
It is now after 6PM on Mother's day and my poor mom waited all day for them to be delivered with nothing. Just called again and they are still "unsure" what is going on. VERY poor customer service, and huge mistake trying them out.
I ordered balloons for my son's birthday. He lives in Chicago and I am about 3 hours away. I paid almost $70 for the arrangement. After ordering at 8:30 AM on his birthday, the balloons were guaranteed delivery by 6:00 PM that day. I called, as well as used the chat option on the website to get an ETA. They couldn't give me one. Then I received an email stating that my son wasn't home when the shop attempted to deliver. So I called again and they again guaranteed delivery by 6 PM. They told me that the flower shop left a note on his door AND attempted to call him. I verified the address and phone number as well and it was all correct. There was never a note, nor did they attempt calling him. They were never delivered. I called the next day (with each phone call, I am speaking with a "manager"), and again they promised delivery by 6 PM, as well as promised a phone call when the shop opened. Yeah right. Never received that either. I received an email the next morning stating that the order was delivered. My son NEVER received the order and these people said they would refund my money and I still have yet to see that. This company is the worst and I highly recommend NOT using them!
I ordered a basic White Lily Gift of Thanks. I was surprised when I got to the paypal checkout that what was a $35.99 arrangement was now $53.73. I had to re-checkout w/out paypal in order to eventually find a breakdown of the extra charges. I went ahead with my order and after a couple hours I noticed I was getting a call from SendFlowers but I was in a work meeting at the time. When I was done with work I noticed that I had received an email from them saying the order could not proceed until they spoke with me directly. I called them back (probably 2 hours after they called me), looked up my order number and confirmed all my information and was told I would need to be transferred to someone else. I had to give that person my order number again, confirm my info again, put on hold again, only to be transferred a third time to someone else. Once again had to provide my order number and confirm my information (I was actually starting to think maybe I was getting scammed at one point) only for that person to tell me that my order had been cancelled because I did not immediately get back to them to confirm some mysterious information fast enough. I asked the lady what it was they needed to discuss with me prior to moving forward with the order and she said they, "needed to confirm my information" WTF. This company is pointless.
Didn't deliver my arrangement on time. Rescheduled to the next day. Did not receive a same-day delivery fee refund. Rude customer service. Will never use again.
They failed to deliver the balloons I ordered for my granddaughter before her first day of kindergarten. No reason was given, just an email. Terrible. Never again.

Ordered above mentioned. However missing balloons. Contacting CS only automated 20% refund. Very unfriendly Service. Didn't even offer to resend as there was time. Simply blaming their local partner!
Go to 1 800 flowers! I used Sendflowers and they were more expensive and didnt even get there till rhe next day! Called aeveral times and got a big $13 back off of an $82 order! Never again
Placed an order about a month and a half before Mother's Day for a Saturday delivery. Received an email with a delivery notice but flowers never came. I confirmed on the phone with customer service that I had the right address in the order, and when I explained that the flowers had never been delivered, the man and the phone asked "so what is the problem?" Yikes. He then told me their system was down and he wasn't able to look up my order for any more information, but that I would get a call back within the next hour. I never got a call back that day or the next. I finally emailed the company and requested a refund which I did get, but this was a complete waste of time and it really sucked that my mom never got anything on Mother's Day. Not a reliable company and terrible customer service. Similar thing actually happened to my own mom with her mom on Mother's Day, but that company at least still delivered flowers the next day, but fully refunded her. It feels like this company knows they are terrible, but somehow continues to operate. Do yourself a favor and order from a local florist.
Do NOT order from these people it is a scam! I ordered balloons for my daughter for Valentine's Day that never came I have spent hours on the phone with these people for a refund they were put out and only wanted to give me a gift card... ah hell NO! Like I would ever order from these people again! NOOOOOO STEAR CLEAR

The DAY OF HIS BIRTHDAY at college (as a freshman), at 1PM, I get a call that the order can not be accommodated and I can have it delivered in 2 days!

I ordered chocolate basket and a bouquet for my best buddy's birthday. Both I ordered previous night(8/29) and choose same day delivery. Its 4.30 pm in New Jersey and till now the order has not been delivered. I was really hoping by atleast noon the delivery would happen, but no. There is no sign. When talked to the representative they are not aware of the current status of the order. Their reply was that some Local Florist will check on delivery and update as soon as it gets delivered. This online delivery costed by $110 but for what use? I really wanted to surprise my friend as I couldn't be there for the birthday. What is the value of the gift if it can be delivered on time? What my friend will do with those flowers and chocolates at the end of the day. I would have been okay if the representative would have given me the exact status of the order - in transit or will deliver by some time etc. But the cold response made me to put down this note. Wish the delivery happens atleast before the next birthday. Hahah... Pathetic experience! Wish there was any choice of not choosing a star.

Ordered flowers for Mother's Day (as I have with other companies, many times and without incident) and instead of flowers my Mom has a card describing their half assed attempt at delivery. Her condo has both a phone with her room on the condo directory, and (if they had tried and couldn't have reached her) an air conditioned room where they could have left them (as dozens of other florists had before), but rather than that she eventually found a card (in that same room) saying they had been there but without information on how to now receive the bouquet. We both looked up the number, called and left messages (none of which were returned) and on the day after mother's day when one (of the many) attempts to reach them were successful, they were extremely rude and unapologetic. So I say again, use this company only if you want an extremely frustrating homework assignment, not if you want flowers.
On May 5th my husband and I placed an $84 purchase of a potted pomegranate bonsai tree in a ceramic pot for his mother to be delivered May 12th. On May 12th she received her plant; broken tree, broken pot, exposed roots. To my horror, my husband explains what has happened. I immediately call customer service and after a very lengthy hold session; I speak with a representative. This person promises this is not typical of their company, places a redelivery of the plant and offered and 10% off coupon. Not exactly happy, but ok at least my mother in law will get the plant we ordered. Or so we thought, redelivered today May 16th and all I can say is that the only thing NOT broken was the pot this time. I again call customer service l, who tried to pacify my dissatisfaction with a 20% refund and a 15% off coupon on a future purchase. No redelivery. Yeah, I had to nearly come to screaming before he would escalate my call to management. After another lengthy hold, management can only off a 50% refund and a redelivery that they can't give a date on due to shortage in supply... never using them again!
Placed a order to send to my girlfriends work the day before. Told them she gets off at 330pm they could not say it would get there before she left. I called the next morning to find out ETA, they looked into it and said they could not find a florist to deliver them. Now its 6 hours before she gets off work. I finally spoke to someone who knew a little bit of their job, she found a florist and placed the order. I then had to call back 3 hours later to find out it was on the truck and going out. Why should a customer have to track every step on a delivery service that you pay for. I usually use Pro Flowers and I am definitely going to go back and use them for my next delivery. I should have looked at reviews for them before I placed a order with them. Who would think a flower delivery service has such bad reviews. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO NEVER USE THEM.
Order Flower Dec 23 2020 for my 50 wedding anniversary wen they arrived they look good but after one day and half they start going down 3 day later they look dead i call because of holydays office was close ontill jan 5 i call back the answer was OK I LET YOU KNOW that was jan 6 2020 still no answer i send email whit pictures still no answer so no replacement no call no email don. T waste your time and your money look at thr rating 1.5 star
AVOID THIS COMPANY. I asked for flowers to be sent 48 HOURS BEFORE my uncle's funeral. I could not go to the funeral because of the pandemic. SendFlowers said they could do with no problem and took my order and my money. On the day of the funeral - NO FLOWERS. I called the company and was told repeatedly how sorry they were but that the "local" florist could not fulfil the order and so NO FLOWERS were sent to the furneral service. THIS COMPANY SUCKS. THEY TAKE YOUR ORDER AND RIP YOU OFF. $#*!-HOLE PEOPLE.
Ordered flowers to be delivered to my mom for Valentine's Day. 9 roses in a clear ginger jar vase with greenery and babies breath. She received 3 puny roses in a bud vase. $66 for 3 puny roses in a bud vase. I contacted the Florist who delivered to say the flowers were not right - they would accept no responsibility and offered no help. Emailed Sendflowers. Took 2 days to hear from them. I was told I would get a discount because the flowers were not correct. I told them no discount mattered and I wanted the correct flowers delivered by 5 pm the next day. A new arrangement came 3 days later. The idiot that delivered them sat them on the porch, they fell over, and several stems of greenery broke and one rose fell apart. I emailed again that I wanted a full refund or I would contact the BBB - might still do that. They assured me I would be refunded the total amount and that they would still send the correct arrangement. I have received the refund - the only flowers I have seen are growing in my yard.
