Per my previous review, I mentioned I would strongly consider ordering office furniture from seatingmind.com. They did not disappoint this frequent flyer! Our organization has grown, and we were in need of a new reception desk office chair. The boss appreciates high quality, and I appreciate an opportunity to save a little money where we can, while still maintaining that standard. Found a GREAT refurbished Herman Miller chair that was absolutely perfect for the space and added a touch of class to our reception area. I love it and again highly recommend seatingmind!
This company has continuously told me that my order placed in January 2024 will ship out "next week" or 'soon' etc. The customer service rep refuses to send me to his manager after multiple requests and has yet to offer a discount for their delays. We paid $8 for chairs we haven't received yet and no one answers when you call customer service.
Purchased a Herman Miller chair from Seatingmind in May. Product was received promptly and was as described. The chair developed a crack in the arm cushion, possibly due to the support not extending the full length of the cushion or because of a material defect. I requested a replacement cushion, but was told that "the warranty doesn't cover that". There was no clause in the warranty that would have excluded this problem that happened after only 6 months of use. Customer support is not responding to my request for a reason why the item is excluded. Not happy about this experience.

Once you buy a chair online you are not sure if you will ever get it. They want to have a review of the buying experience and I do not even have the chair.

Good prices and good products but holding on to an order so long before shipping is not acceptable. I would have ordered last month if I knew this in advance.
I felt like I had to do a lot of research on the chair outside of your site. A lot of info was missing.
This item states that it is new. That is my expectation so if it is refurbished I will be returning it.
A bit confusing. Have to read carefully to see that this is not new, but rather like new, and to find warranty details. Not easy to see why there are differences in listed retail prices for chairs that appear to be same model, features and color.

- The fact that this chair I just bought is used was not called out clearly enough. It is misleading. I still bought it but I didn't even realize until the last minute.
- I wish I could buy casters separately, had to buy on amazon instead
Although we always appreciate feedback, we were surprised with the comments. The features clearly indicate the condition of the chair, and the chair comes with caster options. The white on white website without borders around the boxes did not show up well on my PC browser i had to go back and activate darkmode to see the button i needed to click to checkout.
Ok but it was hard to distinguish what Aeron chairs were new and which were refurbished and how the chairs are different.
Description doesn't clearly says it the chair is brand new or refurbished. This is false advertising.

There is definitely room for improvement in the shipping/delivery phase of purchasing from Seatingmind. Both times that I've placed an order, the tracking info provided stated "label made" but nothing after that. Several weeks passed without an update and when I reached out via customer service link, the items were shipped the same day and arrived two days later which makes me think they would have just sat there indefinitely if I hadn't reached out.
chair finally arrived three weeks after ordering, when it should have arrived in one week. Snafu at Seatingmind warehouse took a number of calls to straighten out. Other than that, happy with purchase.
I sent an email regarding shipping and assembly and the response was very quick. I appreciate that. However, I used the "make an offer" feature and the counter offer was higher than the listed price. This was a waste of my time. I just purchased the chair and I'm hoping for the best.
The only complaint was the delay in processing the order and shipping it. Then there is FedEx who delayed delivery for some unknown reason. The tracking showed the shipment reached a nearby distribution center at 6am. It should have gone out for local delivery that morning. It was not delivered on the estimated day even though it should have. It took entire additional business day for FedEx to move the item from limbo to being out for delivery the following business day. Instead of receiving it Saturday it arrived Tuesday. So not really happy with your preference of shipping provider (FedEx). If it wasn't paid for Saturday delivery it should not have been estimated.
Overall, I am very happy with the Humanscale Freedom chair. It has only a few scuffs and scratches (expected on used office chairs). The rollerblade style casters are very good. The price is very reasonable and it arrived in good and clean condition.
I am recommending Seating Mind to friends and colleagues who want a quality name brand office chairs for home. The junk chairs being sold for $200 break in a years time and even the chairs sold through Office Supply or discount box stores are terrible. Other office chair suppliers deal in bulk sales and you need an appointment. It was nice to find Seating Mind who will sell direct and ship to individuals.
It would be helpful to be able to communicate on line while ordering to ensure questions are answered before placing order. For example, does the stool come assembled?
