I purchased tickets to Madonna's concert for Sep 2023 in Miami and it has been postponed for end of 2024. I'm moving out of the country for work and they stated it's my responsibility. Even though I understand their point, they can't possibly expect everyone waits 1 year for a concert. And yeah, they can't give me a refund or be reasonable about it. Make yourself a favor and avoid this company
Purchased 4 tickets accounting to $200 noticed after purchase that I had a typo on my email, count contact them through anywhere and require order number to make a request, we'll you can't have the order number without your email. Tried a phone number I found to hear web, got out on hold by a machine and then they hung up on me the same way multiple times. Do not get your tickets through this website.
You buy the tickets, but they won't send them to you right away, as any normal company would do. They hold your tickets, until is too late before event or even make you loose the event. I don't understand how such a disaster company is still in business. Of course when you try to contact them, there is no phone number for customer service. Avoid them for your ticket purchase.
While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
After pressing the buy option for 2 theater tickets, Seat Geek sent back an ambiguous message saying the transaction may not have gone through and that I should check my email. When I checked my email there was no confirmation from Seat Geek. Presuming that the transaction had failed, I ordered 2 more tickets. A minute later two email confirms arrived for 2 tickets each.
I contacted Seat Geek's customer service immediately; they told me that all ticket sales were final, and that I should attempt to sell the tickets through their service. When I failed to get them to reconsider, I attempted to offer the 2 extra tickets for sale at a loss, but their service said they were ineligible!
I don't often feel like a chump, but I did after dealing with them.
3 days later, Fernando from their customer service emailed to say they had secured a refund from the box office. After it was credited, I altered the review from 1 star to 4 stars.

I bought tickets to a Ny Rangers game from seatgeek and never received. I was told that tickets would arrive in my email no later then 24 hours before my event. We travelled all the way to the stadium and I never received my tickets. Waited outside the arena for almost two hours just to be told that they double sold my tickets and they can only offer me a refund. They also lied to me numerous times over the phone. Customer service was rude and not helpful. Will never be using seatgeek again.
Bought tickets minutes into a presale. Quickly realized tickets in my confirmation email were not the ones I had initially selected. So bought others as quick as possible. Then called my Bank to get phone number *******335 for SeatGeek as you can't find it on their site. Talked to customer service within hour after purchase and later received email that refund was denied. So instead of fighting with them I sold tickets, which they charged another $50 for. Now I find out my money will be delivered after event in 6 months. I have used SeatGeek in past without issue on purchase. Sad to say I'm no longer a SeatGeek fan.
I have had an incredibly frustrating experience with Seat Geek and would never use them again! In contrast, I can wholeheartedly recommend Stub Hub. If you have any issues with your tickets from Seat Geek, you will absolutely never get a human being to help you. Buyer beware!
Bought tickets in 2019 for a Lauren hill
Concert …. It never happen, in fact she's on tour now doing other shows. They tried to tell me well it should be rescheduled. It's been almost 2 years give me my refund. "We will reach out to you".
Overall, I usually enjoy SeatGeek's services but I've had a couple issues with my tickets getting taken as I'm entering my payment info. They also need to go to strictly E-tickets... not "e-tickets" that you then have to print yourself or pay a ridiculous charge after standing in line at will call. Takes away a lot of the convenience of ordering online.
I bought two tickets for Springsteen in Columbus. Because of his peptic ulcer he had to cancel, it's so serious he has NO makeup dates. All I wanted was a refund, I emailed and texted, they just give me the runaround. Why? All I want is my money back. Do not use this company. I'll bring suit, but it's frustrating. Please stay away!
Accidentally purchased tickets for the wrong day. Called customer service within five minutes. After looking at my order, they conveniently told me that so sorry we cant refund your order, but I could sell them back. I will never use seat geek again.
Hi Chris, thanks for taking the time to review your experience. To further explain, SeatGeek only connects buyers with sellers, so we can’t actually change or cancel an order after it’s been confirmed. As stated in their Terms of Use, our vendors and sellers are unable to process cancellations, exchanges, or refunds. Due to the nature of the secondary ticket market, all sales are final and cannot be reversed once they have been submitted, mainly in an effort to ensure the security of tickets and avoid situations where they are double sold or invalidated.
Your best shot at getting your money back is to simply resell them. The majority of tickets on the SeatGeek Marketplace end up getting scooped up.

Called me when they discovered that the $1,400 worth of tickets I ordered were possibly not going to make it. I had to go day of the ND football game to pick them up. Promised a $200 credit and now won't return emails.
Also their price was higher than what my friends paid using stubhub
I talked to 5 different customer service reps who said they would call me back and none of them did. I tried calling again and now the phone number no longer works. I'll keep trying via email bit it looks hopeless. I could be out over $1000.
Bought tickets for two baseball games in Colorado before the Pandemic. Games were the first week of June. It is now mid July with no refund even after contacting seatgeek, and my credit card. $400 un-refunded. I understand the circumstances, but this is unacceptable if not criminal!
I've bought tickets through SG weeks before & the day off an event and every where in between. I've never been disappointed or had an issue. I have learned to take a screenshot of my ticket & blow it up. That seems to work better for the scanner at entry.
Prices very good. Lots of availability both as to events and ticket locations. Only problem is that a do not normally carry a cell phone, so the "easy" method of accessing tickets isn't easy for me - don't even have your app. Need to print tickets.
I have used SeatGeek on two occasions and have not been disappointed. Excellent seats for a great price and the concert tickets arrived within two days of me placing an order. Will continue to use this company whenever possible.
Excellent prices, and minimal fees. What more could an avid baseball fan ask for?:)
My only critique about seat geek is the inability to view the stadium section for each listing while scrolling, without clicking on it. Sometimes it's hard to eye ball it from the map. Also, more options like being able to filter your results by certain zones/areas of the stadium would be welcome.
Overall, excellent experience. Keep up the good work
Hi Brendan, that's a great suggestion! If you have any other feedback, let us know! Our goal is always to make the app and website as easy to use as possible for everyone, and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know what finds of features you'd like to see!
I've been using Seatgeek for a while now and I don't think I'll ever use another site for tickets again. Very easy interface. Decently priced tickets and rating system. My favorite part is probably being able to see the whole price without the hidden fees.
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
Answer: Hi Beth, Welcome to SeatGeek! In order to maintain our marketplace we do have fees, but we'll always show you a thorough price breakdown of your order before you can checkout. Plus, we've got options so you can actually search for tickets and see the fees included in the price from the get-go. Simply use the filter "Prices with fees" when searching for listings. You can read more about that here: https://support.seatgeek.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036685293 I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions-- Best wishes, SeatGeek CX Team

SeatGeek has a rating of 2.2 stars from 2,558 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with SeatGeek most frequently mention customer service, credit card and phone number. SeatGeek ranks 16th among Concert Tickets sites.
Hey Kevin, thanks for sharing your experience here! To address your biggest concern here: We totally know what you're feeling with those e-tickets needing printing, and as a tech company, we're on board with a ticketing world where ALL tickets can be used straight from your mobile device! Unfortunately, SeatGeek doesn't call the shots on whether mobile entry will be accepted for an event - the venue does. Different venues have different setups, and while there are tons and tons of events out there that you can absolutely get into with tickets on your phone, there are also events that do not have a setup that reliably allows mobile entry. If we have any reason to be concerned about whether or not a venue will let you in with tickets on your phone, we turn off our QR codes for that event and instruct users to print their tickets instead. We know it's a pain, but it's a lot less of a hassle than being turned away from your event because the venue can't scan your tickets on your phone!
Until we live in that world just beyond the horizon where all events are mobile-friendly, we recommend reaching out to the venue themselves in instances where you want mobile entry but you're stick with print-at-home tickets. They may not be able to change anything right away, but hearing this kind of feedback may be the push they need to prioritize getting new scanners, software, or policies that will create a more fan-friendly experience!
