DON'T DO IT!...TRUST ME, DON'T - DO - IT!

I ordered a new LG washing machine control board. I received the wrong one and it was burnt. I don't mean the electronics did not work, I mean IT WAS ACTUALLY BURNED...SINGED. Bad enough if it was used but this one was actually burned. See the photo. Anyone who would sell this as new should be...well, I won't go there.

I placed my order in March. Months of waiting to get a "backordered" email 7/28. Cancelled my entire order 7/28.7/30 they ship 1 of 3 parts ANYWAY. Called for a return label. Return delivered 8/4, as of today 8/18, no refund. They did refund the other 2 parts tho... but I'm still receiving backorder emails about these CANCELLED and REFUNDED parts.

Call center is located in the Philippines..

They sent the incorrect part and refuse to return and reimburse. Come to find out that they sent the incorrect part because the correct one is discontinued. So now I have a Kenmore washer that is completely useless due to a broken $30 part that is no longer available (8year old washing machine) I do not recommend Kenmore appliances or Sears parts direct.

Sears part direct is very difficult to deal with. Placed an order said that it was going to be here Tuesday. On Tuesday it never showed up. Talk to a representative said that they would expedite the order and it would be here Thursday. Order never showed up. Call back to find out that I couldn't talk to anybody that night and then I needed to call back on Friday. Call back on Friday. Spent another half an hour on the phone to find out. They don't know when the part will be shipped out. They need me to wait another three business days before they can find out as they have to send this information to another part of the Sears direct division. Too many clowns running the show. Or they're not really running anything, very frustrating. Still don't have a part or any information about when it will be here. It's already been a week and no information.

Refund issue
August 7, 2021

Trying to cancel an order that was on backorder for about a month. After 2 phone calls telling them to cancel it and filling out a form online, im still waiting for a refund. They didn't even get back to me regarding the backorder form I filled out online. And when I asked for the supervisor, they only tell you one name and tell them if I want to look for them again, then I can just ask for that person given the one name. So I will sit and wait and wait and wait for my refund. 10 days and counting.

I ordered a lawnmower part. The part was placed on backorder & the ship date kept being extended. After some time I canceled the order & asked for a refund to my sears Mastercard. The refund was never processed. I called twice more to try to get my refund. I then received a email saying it had shipped & I'd have to return it for a refund. That was obviously done on purpose. But to add insult to injury, I never received the part. So I called sears Master to dispute the charge & they only referred me back to sears parts. About 3 calls later I finally was able to file a dispute. Another important side note: the guy at sears parts told me I couldn't find the part locally. I found it 5miles down the road. They should be under investigation for fraud.

I ordered a part on March 24,2023. There was no communication about the order until I logged onto Sears website on April 4 and learned that the part shipped and was delivered March 29th. No part came. No proof of delivery. When I finally found a way to talk to a human they confirmed the part never shipped and referred me to what they call their back end team. It's April 7th. I have since ordered and received the part from a competent company. Still no part from Sears. Still no way to get in touch. The sooner this outfit closes up the better for everyone

I had a really bad experience with Sears customer service. I ordered oven range part on 1/3 with guaranteed delivery 1/5, on 1/8 it was still processing. In a week they still did not have tracking number claiming that Samsung parts are being shipped overseas. Nobody told me that when I bought a part over the phone. I ended up canceling the part and reordered via Samsung directly. I received my part next day from Samsung. Huge delays with Sears, DO NOT ORDER FROM SEARS it will take months to arrive.

No matter how important the item is DO NOT order from them!
The website indicates that the item is in stock and you place an order and a few days later you get an email stating that the item is backordered. When you contact them they try and say its the manufacture who notified them that the item is backordered and they have no idea when the item is going to be available. I asked them to cancel and refund me and after a week neither was done so I had to call my bank to get my money back.

Never again

I needed a part for my Kenmore washer. I placed the order. When I received the confirmation Sears Parts Direct had put in the wrong part. I canceled the order and was refunded ONLY for the part. I was charged for the shipping. Do not use Sears Parts Direct. No wonder Sears is going out of business.

Beware, they will do everything to prevent you from returning a part! I ordered a large drawer for the frig. It did not solve my problem so I wanted to return it. It wouldn't fit in my car. They would not send me the return label. They ordered a pick up from ups and said UPS would have the label. They would not give me a date for the pick up. After a week of putting this huge box out every day, a week later UPS picked it up. One business day later, what do you think was on my doorstep? Yep, the huge box was BACK, Apparently They never gave UPS the return label. I finally called UPS myself. I had to pry the return address from customer service. And the first time I called they gave me the wrong address. I finally got it from a post on the reviews. They won't let you give a negative (0) rating. So RUN from anything to do with these crooks!

We have a Kenmore refrigerator/freezer with an icemaker. Our home has a whole home water filter, a water softener, and a reverse osmosis system; thus, we do not need a refrigerator water filter. I can not get searspartsdirect personnel to comprehend that I want a bypass. I ordered the part given me several years back which was totally wrong and had to be returned. Last week the gentleman refused to give me the part number of the item and I received the exact same wrong part. Today I was given the part number for the filter itself. And each person I spoke with had the same issue - they did not understand the word "bypass". Last week I was told to "replace the filter" to solve my issue.

I ordered multiple parts from SearPartsDirect.com because they all showed IN STOCK but a day later I got emails that they weren't. Some were listed as backordered for several weeks. I cancelled all the parts over the phone and 2 days later got emails that the parts were shipping. I was charged for return shipping. I spent several hours on the phone getting my money back and trying to explain what happened. Decent customer service after you get through to someone but not a reliable company to order from.

They lie to say a part is in stock and take your order. Then they say it is backordered.
Later, they show the part 'In Stock', but they never ship your ordered part out.
When you chat with them, they say anything to appease you, but do not ship the part.
The last time I chatted, they cut off the chat before I could get into details with them.
You are NOT dealing with Sears anymore, but Transform SR Brands, a user of the old trusted name. Transform SR Brands is not honest...

Don't order from sears parts direct they are scammers! I'm calling the better business bureau on them!

Sears Parts Direct salesman assured me on phone that part was correct for my specific model Craftsman Shop Vac. Upon arrival part is incorrect and does not even come close to fitting. Online return states that item cannot be returned. Unable to reach customer service to straighten out issue after multiple attempts over several days. Funny, I can reach Sears sales immediately on phone, although requesting customer service is a phone prompt nightmare and endless waiting. It appears that Sears is intentionally diverting post sales issues in hopes that customers will simply give up... SHOP ELSEWHERE AND AVOID THIS COMPANY

UPS said they handed off the package to USPS, USPS said the package wasn't in the container. UPS won't refund because they handed off the package, USPS won't refund because they were not the "original shipper". Finally talked to a Sears rep after days of sleuthing for a phone number to speak to an actual person. Person assured me that they would refund my credit card. It is 18 days later and I have neither the parts or the refund. Easily found abundant complaints online about my exact issue. Such poor service. Wish there wan an alternative to my house full of aging Kenmore appliances.

I order 2 items on line on 6/7/2020. I received 1 item out of the 2. Never received any email notification of the 2nd item I was waiting on, in which was much important of the 2. I called their call center. Wasn't much help. The rep could not answer any of my questions. Then I get a generic email stating they looking into it with the manufacturer and I would get a email update within 48hrs. I still have not received anything from them. I have been very proactive on my end calling and sending emails and no clarity.
If you find any item elsewhere for a few bucks more I highly recommend going that route! Save your self some headaches and time and order elsewhere.
Today's date is 6/23/2020 and I haven't received my 2nd item with no updates but someone will send you a shipping tracking once order it shipped.
STAY AWAY ORDER ELSEWHERE!

I ordered a main control board for my Amana oven. I received it on time. Then my electrician told me that the board wasn't the problem that it was a bad breaker in the electrical panel. So he changed the breaker and the oven worked perfectly again. I called SPD several times to get a return authorization number/form sent to me so that I could return it at the UPS store. They never sent me that form. I had to get the bank involved. This is not the sears I remember growing up.

Ordered this part on June 18th, the website stated it was in stock and I would recieve it by June 21st. Didn't recieve it so I contacted customer service and they told me it was on backorder and they couldn't give me a date that I would recieve this part, yet if you go on their website, it still says it is in stock. I experienced nothing but poor customer service,poor communication, and poor website management with this company. I will not order from here again and do not recommend to anyone!
