Great job. I saw the postings on SJ and was concerned but i had a GREAT experience with screen country. Significantly cheaper price, great service, no issues with the monitor. As a business person myself i cann see throught the bad reviews. The guy that runs his mouth is a competitor and is getting his $#*! handed to him by SC. Get over it! Quit whining and find a way to compete with him or go away. No one wants to listen to you constant whining. Call your mom.

I didn't know anything about Screen Country. My daughter has a Sony laptop and broke the screeen. Not much joy came from palking to Sony about it. A guy at a local computer repair shop told me about ScreenCountry. I looked it up and the screen was $60, so I decided to take a chance. I am not much of a computer repairman, but I have lots of mechanical aptitude, so I figured I'd give it a try. Ordered the screen, which was here in two days, installed it, with no trouble, there was a little "how to" thing on the website, but its really just a few screws and a plug so I didn't really need it, it wasn't rocket science.

The computer looks and works fabulous.

All in all, a 10 out of 10 for ease of service, price, and not much hassle.

It took me awhile to decide if I should try to replace my cracked screen or simply invest in a new laptop. I finally decided to try to replace the screen and I am so glad I did. $80+ and the laptop is good as new! I did use their video to learn how to find the correct part #, ordered, received the order promptly and then used their video to learn how to install the new screen. No issues here! I did notice some of the negative comments on this site and want everyone to know that I did receive an email from Screen Country with this link asking me to comment on my experience.

I don't care what the bad reviews say. I checked out what they had. They had what I wanted, & at a decent price, so I ordered it & it arrived quickly. I was able to replace my Toshiba Laptop screen with the exact same Samsung LCD model that it used to have, at about 25% of the price Toshiba wanted for it, and it works great. Thus, I am a happy client, and I have nothing bad to say about ScreenCountry.com. They must be turning over a new leaf, if you believe any of the previous negative reviews..

I am reading the last review and I can explain. I was a customer of Screencountry who sold be a very reasonably priced screen for my laptop. About $100 with postage. They also had a great video to show me how to do the work my self.

They were recommended to me by the London Drugs techie who could only sell me a screen for about $700 and then another $100 for labour. (took about 15 minutes to do and I bought some small screw drivers)

It would have cost less to buy a better laptop (which I did not need). THis company is highly recommended by me and they sent me an email to help them get the work out in this system. I am happy to do so.

Laptop Screen aka Screencountry started badly on Sitejabber – they spammed the site in April 2011 with dozens of fake reviews and that annoyed quite a few reviewers. They also had problems with a handful of customers who had less than satisfactory service by the company and made their feelings known.

On the plus side, since this review was originally posted, they have revamped the company systems, organised to deal with negative customer feedback in more supportive way, and have garnered a whole host of (hopefully genuine) positive reviews.

Let's look on this as a win for Sitejabber, but also a win for Laptopscreen.com / Screencountry who have ended up with a better business and a much higher percentage of happy customers. I wish them success.

The lesson to all businesses is – don't spam review sites – the sh*t will hit the fan and take a long time to clear up!

Hey, I don't know what all the whining is about, I got an email asking me, that since I bought a laptop screen to replace a broken one, would I mind doing a reveiw of screencountry.com. Well the site is great! I easily found the screen I wanted, one actually better than what I originally had. I have opened and installed drives, memory and graphic cards on my desktop but never done anything like like changing a screen before. After checking "how to" instructions I was still a little hesitant but after shopping around I ordered from "screencountry.com" because their site looked very professional, organized, and I just had to click through a list till I found my laptop then select the screen I wanted. I upgraded to an antiglare screen, now my laptop look like a completely different one. Plus they have very clear video of how to install it. It was one of the coolest things I have ever done and I don't think I could have without "screencountry.com" Thanks guys again Mike Williams NY

Ordered a replacement screen for my MacBook Pro 15 inch, shipped fast and worked perfectly. I can't really speak to why so many people have trouble with their screens but mine hasn't developed any problems and it was the cheapest replacement screen option I could find anywhere.

BTW, one of the reasons for the influx of positive reviews lately may be because screencountry is sending out emails to customers asking them to write a review on site jabber, and no I'm not getting anything out of it by giving them a positive review.

Either my dog, or I put enough pressure on the top of the laptop I had to break the screen. Probably me. I had already made arrangements for getting a new laptop because mine was 4 years old and running Windows XP.

Because I like to repair things, and the only problem with this laptop was a broken screen, I decided to see if I could safely remove it ( only realizing later that there are plenty of model-specific hoe-to instructions on the web). So, after I realized that dis-assembly would be relatively easy, I looked online to see if the part was even available. Price being a factor when repairing an older computer, I decided on Screencountry.com. One thing I liked about their site was that the picture of the screen was not generic. It was a picture of the actual screen. The other thing I liked was that they provided the instructions for dis-assembly and re-assembly of the unit, though I already had it dis-assembled. I got the correct screen. I had it reassemble in a half hour (and that was being super careful, and checking everything over numerous times). Worked immediately, with OEM screen detail. Cannot complain at all. I have replaced LCD screen on cameras twice, so this was not completely foreign to me. Now I use this computer when I travel, to spare the possibility of destroying my new, larger, faster laptop. The only reason I don't give four stars, is that I have only one experience with this company. If you are going to replace your screen, you might want to remove you old one first. The part number on the back will save you from ordering the incorrect screen.

After one year and 1 day, (I'm not kidding) my Acer laptop screen died and as you probably know, if its past a year and you don't have extended warranty, Acer won't even talk to you. The store I purchased the laptop wanted to charge me $450 to replace it. Thankfully, I found Screencountry online, ordered my new screen for less than $100 and although 1 week before Xmas, received it within a couple of days and was back up and running. My boyfriend installed it himself and it worked perfectly.
I don't know what you are talking about re fraudulent emails etc,. But I am one happy customer. Feel free to email me back as I WILL respond.

A totally bad experience. Been buying screens from Screen Country for our repair shop in California since 2008. Almost all have either been the completely wrong model, or they come malfunctioning.

Customer service is terrible. They are slow to respond and offer no reparations for any mistakes. The last time I purchased a screen from them they first sent the wrong LCD entirely, and second they shipped one with pink vertical lines. Our client waited over two weeks and screen country didn't offer anything beyond fulfilling the original order.

Avoid technician Giedrius T*********, he's rude and will ignore you.
