The perfume I wanted was "Eau de London" from 1969 by Yardley. Not only did you hit it on the button but delivery was fast. I loved the message written on the bottle. You people are fabulous. FOLKS, PLEASE USE THESE PEOPLE TO RECREATE YOUR DISCONTINUED FRAGRANCES.
They made it sound great. Even listed my Aveda "Eros" scent from many years ago. I couldn't believe it. Excited it was worth it to me to pay $68.99 to have this discontinued scent. It had a picture of their "team" and said all the right things. When it came, it was a disgusting scent of dime store smelling stuff. I told them they said all the right things to make me think they really tried and they asked if I had a sample. I had held on to a small vile of the scent and I mailed it to them. They sent a 2nd scent which was worse than the 1st. I asked them to send my sample back it was all I had. And they didn't. There was mix up inbetween these two deliveries with e mails saying it was delivered by FedX then by UPS and it never was. NIGHTMARE
I ordered the O. M. perfume duplicate. What I received is a very pretty scent... but does not smell like O. M. I will continue to wear what they sent though ;)
Not only did it take forever to get my order but it literally smells NOTHING like the original perfume. This place is a waste of time and money. I would not recommend it to anyone.
I placed in order in April, and have been trying to contact them via email and phone because I am unhappy with the scent. I am so disappointed especially because this service is not cheap.
I ordered 'Sheer Scent' by Ultima II - received it and it smells NOTHING like Sheer Scent and in fact smells disgusting. I have only had it in my possession for 20 minutes and have already called and e-mailed them that I want to return it immediately. Hopefully they will stand by their policy and let me do so but after reading some of the other reviews I see what a scam it is and am not holding my breath. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
My husband ordered a discontinued fragrance from them for me for Christmas and it was no where even close to the fragrance. The first time my husband sent them the actual notes from the website where the original scent was made explaining what ingredients were used to make the fragrance and the second time we tried again by sending a sample and it was even worse the second time. The smell reminds me of something very outdated or maybe a bad bathroom spray. Both times we have reordered they sent it in the wrong bottle (you can choose your bottle type). They will not reply. They have deleted my comments and have me blocked from being able to like or comment on their fb page and they refuse to give a refund.
I just want to help others from getting scammed by this company.
UPDATE: So my husband contacted the BBB about this situation and Scentmatchers replied talking about they've been in business for ten years blah blah blah and basically making us out to be just whiny customers instead of apologizing or admitting that they send out horrible fragrances not even resembling the scent you're interested in (even with the ingredients list from the maker and a sample)... and they agreed to give us a full refund.
I HIGHLY recommend that if you've been scammed by this company that you let the BBB know about it asap.
I was abit doubtful when I placed my order for a fragrance that went back to Avon in the early 70's... It was "Lemon"... When I received my order... I was AMAZED! It was like taking a fresh lemon and wearing T H A T light FRESH citrusy fragrance ALLLLL day! Perfect for Summer! But I'll wear it ALL year! Thank YOU ScentMatchers! I have used this company in the past... for the fragrance of Brown Sugar by Beauty Control... GREAT company! Will be back for refills! :)
WE HAVE A NUMBER OF NIGHT BLOOMING CEREUS PLANTS. WHEN THEY BLOOM (PERIODICALLY) THE FRANCE IS VERY DISTINCTIVE, BUT SHORT LIVED. WE HAVE OFTEN WONDERED HOW TO "BOTTLE IT UP". IN TRYING TO FIND THAT FRAGRANCE IN A PERFUME WE DISCOVERED SCENTMATCHERS. BECAUSE THE FRAGRANCE IS NOT LISTED, WE WERE SCEPTICAL AS TO WHETHER IT COULD BE RE- PRODUCED. HOWEVER, THE PROTECTIONS WHICH THE COMPANY OFFERS, AND ITS OBVIOUS POLICY OF GENUINE DEDICATION TO SATISFYING ITS CUSTOMERS CONVINCED US TO GIVE IT A TRY. WE HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE. THE FRAGRANCE TURNED OUT TO BE VERY AUTHENTIC AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AND HELPFUL THROUGH THE ENTIRE TRANSACTION. WE HAVE ALREADY PLACED A REPEAT ORDER FOR OUR DAUGHTER.
I love Halo! They stopped making it awhile ago. I'm excited to try a couple more scents I saw some on the list that I almost forgot about!

Where is my order? I ordered a bottle of perfume and there is no shipping information and I can never reach anyone at the number provided. Very upset.
So far, so good. This company seems to really care about meeting expectations. If they don't get it 100% perfect they will try again, and I love that! 10/10 would buy from over and over again.
SO GLAD I READ REVIEWS and do my homework before ordering from any site/company I am not familiar with and I won't be doing business with Scent Matchers. What a shame, was hoping to wear a beautiful perfume again but honestly I don't believe ANYONE can make it but the original. I surrendered and suggest to everyone out there that you do the same. Go out and try new ones and with a little patience you'll find a new one you'll love.

Excellent customer service, excellent product. Will not disappoint. My scent was off. There was no problem fixing it. IN fact, it was right on point. They worked with me and never complained.
Very impressed. This isn't just about the perfume either. I ordered my favorite scent that was discontinued about 10 years ago. Scentmatchers sent me the bottle they made and it really did not match my favorite. I let them know and the following is the main reason for the five rating. They exceeded my expectations by giving me a few options. Refund, try to match scent again or pick a totally new scent to have made. They also stated I do not need to send back the other bottle, which I should mention does smell good, it just didn't match my choice scent., So my daughter now has some new perfume. Haha I chose the retry and today I received my second bottle and it is a perfect match of my favorite. Takes me way back and almost brought tears to my eyes as this particular scent was first purchased for me by my father only a week before he passed away. This scent holds a deep rooted special place in my heart because of that and I thought the ability to have it was gone for good. This company did a great job matching my scent and provided the best customer service I've had in a long time. Definitely recommend and I definitely will be a return customer.
I had ordered a remake of an old bath and body works scent that was discontinued over a decade ago. They sent me a bottle and it smelled like musty old perfume that was sitting on a shelf of an antique store for decades. I emailed to complain and they offered me a re-do. They sent me a lot to give them a sample, (a sample of a scent that I did not have because it was discontinued over a decade ago hence me ordering from them) however I digress, so I had to find the cheapest smallest body wash version of the scent on EBay. I put that in their kit and shipped it off awaiting my re-do bottle. Just got it in the mail, and it's as horrible musty and stinky as the first one. They had originally claimed that this is what their samples smelled like- so clearly their samples are very old and very expired too! I wouldn't recommend ordering from them unless the perfume you're chasing is still available for purchase elsewhere or if it was just recently discontinued- otherwise the scent profile is completely off.

Shortly after Scentcrafters formed, Adam and Angela also started their life together as husband and wife. Literally a couple months after that, Angela found out she was pregnant with their first child. At that time Scentmatchers was also created. Needless to say, it was a busy period for the Schultz's!
Scentmatchers started after Scentcrafters' customers repeatedly asked if we could also provide a service to bring discontinued fragrances back to life. After enough people asked us this, we eventually woke up to the idea that, "Hey, we should give people what they want."
In 2013 we took the next step as a company and hired our first employees. We now have over 28 years of combined experience producing discontinued fragrances, and to date we have sold over 100,000 individual bottles of discontinued fragrances.
In 2014 we decided to increase our commitment to customer service and we hired our first full time Customer Service Manager, Pravin. We pride ourselves on providing quick and prompt customer service as repeat business becomes the cornerstone of our company.
In June of 2017 we increased the amount of perfume oil we used in fragrances by 50%, which we feel increases the quality of our product by it more potent and longer lasting.
In 2018 we created this new streamlined website on the Shopify platform that we are very excited about. We also added 2 more full time employees as the business continues to grow.
Despite some initial growing pains, we are now considered one of the foremost experts in creating discontinued perfume and cologne. We look forward to recreating your memories as you become part of our story.

We are sorry you did not like your fragrance. Unfortunately, we are not always able to reach customer's expectations or memories, and for that we apologize. However, we do have excellent ratings with the Better Business Bureau, the most reputable business review organization in the United States.
That being said, please do return your product and we'll provide a full refund when it is received. Also note that almost all perfume and cologne retailers will NOT accept returns for any reason, but we DO provide refunds for any returns received within 90 days.
