My signature scent "Baghavan Dhurrani" went the way of the Dodo some years back and while there have been a few other perfumes which have somewhat similar nothing captured the essence of this compelling, elegant fragrance. I tried ScentMatchers on a whim and was absolutely stunned when I received a stunning recreation bottled beautifully and bearing the name of one of my central characters in my political thriller book series. This could become a habit! Love it. Love it. Love it!
It has been quite some time ago when I ordered my favorite discontinued frangrance from ScentMatchers (GAP Earth). I'd moved on to something else, and yesterday, I was straightening up and came across my GAP Earth from ScentMatchers again and decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, it is spot on! I just love it. I don't know how they do it, but it is fabulous.
While the fragrance I received was not displeasing, it wasn't quite the scent I was hoping for. It took a couple of weeks from ordering to receipt. The overall experience of ordering and the product received were satisfactory.
"I ordered Escada The Collection. The scent wasn't right and you made it a second time. The scent still wasn't right so you refunded my money. Your customer service is wonderful. You did everything you could to make it right.
The company is very easy to work with. The perfume wasn't a match with what I wanted but they kept working with me to try to get it right and even offered the opportunity for me to switch to another perfume for them to match.
I was buying my special scent from a clothing catalog and when I went to re-order the perfume they had discontinued it! I was so disappointed because that scent was so special to me, it wasn't overwhelming. I could use it everyday. A friend suggested that I search Amazon for the fragrance, however, I had no luck. I did see the advertisement for Scentmatchers, and I used the description of the scent on the fragrance box to explain what I was looking for in a perfume. To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect. In a short time, I received a bottle of perfume that was pleasantly similar to the fragrance that had been discontinued. It is not exactly the same, but it is very pleasing. I use it every day! I don't like strong perfume, yet I like this scent very much. I am a happy customer!
Well, it is a TOTAL SCAM! They send you a fragrance, but if you don't like it, they give you a bogus address to send it back to. The one they gave me for 6301 Thorman Rd. In Port Charlotte, FL is for a vacation rental. This way, they can claim that they never received the fragrance so they will deny you the refund... buyer beware... oh yeah, not to mention the fragrance sucks! The other bogus address is for one in MI.
I had ordered a thirty year old bottle of Terme Di'Sola from EBay, I still loved the scent, but the lotion was ewww.I ordered lotion and fragrance from Scentmasters and They both were so wonderful. Thank you! Monika
I have to tell you all that this place is amazing. I saw their ad on Facebook and decided to take a chance on them. A company in Gaylord, MI can't be all that bad right!:-) Especially when I'm born and raised in Michigan!
I have always loved the scent Cherry Vanilla and thought lets see if they can recreate it. Well I got the bottle and it was a lot more cherry than vanilla. So I contacted them and they were amazing. They gave me a few options on what I can do. Having them try and recreate it was at the top of my list. So I talked to them and told them how they can tweak it and I have to tell you that I got my new bottle today and it is AMAZING! Now they will have this scent on file for me for as long as they are in business. Which I hope is forever! If you have a scent that they no longer make and you miss I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ScentMatchers. They are the best!

I ordered it a week ago and still haven't received it. Not happy! And now I have to add more characters to get this to go? Maybe I should go to BBB and make a formal complaint? I will make sure to tell everyone on Facebook NOT to order from you because you don't get what you paid for. Is that enough characters for you?
One night when I couldn't sleep I came across this website, and just for fun, I created my own perfume. It was so fun creating, and today my perfume came and it is my all time forever favorite perfume in the whole wide world. It is so cool to have a personalized perfume. My friends love it too. So... I had fun creating it and love wearing it... and it comes in a pretty black satin pouch. Customer service is excellent too. I love it so much I want to tell the ENTIRE WORLD!
The name of the perfume is Charles of the Ritz and you can no longer buy it in our country, and the ScentMakers do a wonderful job of making it for me. It has a beautiful smell and it is the only one that I wear. My husband loves the sweet scent that it has and tells me never to run out of it. The ScentMatchers do a beautiful job in making it and make the price of it sp reasonable that I make sure that I never run out of it. I can't thank them enough for making it for: me. All I can say it is great to have a company that is so good! Thank You?!
If ALL business operated their customer service the way this company does the world would be such a better place! I received the wrong fragance on Monday then the right one arrived on Wednesday making up for the dissapointment of the first bottle. Thank you for giving me back my MUSK by Dana! I ordered what was supposed to be similar to "Savanna by Isabell," which I love. I actually still have some of the original left, and what I got from ScentMatchers bore absolutely no resemblance to it. Even taking into account possible changes due to age, neither I nor several other people could detect any similarity between the two. I was willing to be forgiving of the extremely long lag between ordering and shipping if it meant I could have my all-time favorite scent again, but between the slow fulfillment AND the inaccurate scent, ScentMatchers is definitely "do not order" in my book. To add insult to injury, I don't even like the scent I received -- regardless of its similarity to what I ordered!

"This product shipped quickly! Honestly, at first when I tried the perfume my brian was positive it was Not going to be an exact match of the perfume I have worn daily for over 15 years! So much so that I sprayed it on and thought "close, but no". But then I thought "maybe?" So I set out to test by comparing with the bottle of the original... I sprayed on each wrist and went about my day. An hour later when I smelled them I couldn't tell which was which but one of my wrist kept the scent stronger... when I checked (I'd written down which was the original) it was the scent matchers that kept the scent! In love and will be buying more!"
I have ordered three times from Scentmatchers; Gucci No 1, Aphrodisia (originally from Fabrege), and the latest was the old Chloe from the 70's. I've been extremely happy every time. It reminds me of fun times when I was younger. With the Chloe, it reminds me of my sweet mother. I will continue to order in the future.
I saw an add for scentmatchers.com and I figured I would give them a try. The perfume I really like is discontinued. I told them the scent, but it wasn't exactly the scent I was looking for. The perfume bottles were packaged beautifully as well. The people who own this company are awsome. I got a refund, and they didn't want the perfumes back. I got to keep them. Please, give them a try. You have nothing to loose, and everything to gain. I'm telling all my friends about this amain company. Next time...

Shortly after Scentcrafters formed, Adam and Angela also started their life together as husband and wife. Literally a couple months after that, Angela found out she was pregnant with their first child. At that time Scentmatchers was also created. Needless to say, it was a busy period for the Schultz's!
Scentmatchers started after Scentcrafters' customers repeatedly asked if we could also provide a service to bring discontinued fragrances back to life. After enough people asked us this, we eventually woke up to the idea that, "Hey, we should give people what they want."
In 2013 we took the next step as a company and hired our first employees. We now have over 28 years of combined experience producing discontinued fragrances, and to date we have sold over 100,000 individual bottles of discontinued fragrances.
In 2014 we decided to increase our commitment to customer service and we hired our first full time Customer Service Manager, Pravin. We pride ourselves on providing quick and prompt customer service as repeat business becomes the cornerstone of our company.
In June of 2017 we increased the amount of perfume oil we used in fragrances by 50%, which we feel increases the quality of our product by it more potent and longer lasting.
In 2018 we created this new streamlined website on the Shopify platform that we are very excited about. We also added 2 more full time employees as the business continues to grow.
