Smooth talkers straight from the start to suck you in with false promises from Salted Stone.
They provided me with an initial quote that I agreed upon, once you start the website they start throwing in extra fee's that were never mentioned before.
Such as wanting to change content and image son my own, they said they have to do these changes for me and it costs their developers $75 per hour to make the changes.
In the past I had a website built on wordpress where I could easily make the changes myself.
I am having constant issues with the website taking a long time to load up or even timed out, my emails are constantly crashing and when I send an email to a customer they never receive it.
This whole experience with Salted Stone has cost me a lot of money and time and I wish I never went with them.
Found the whole process with salted stone a nightmare!
Salted Stone claim to have an office in Melbourne and America but it turns out they have no office in Melbourne. When I went to visit it the reception on the ground floor mentioned that there is no such business located at the address they claim on their website, shady offshore business.
The whole process of building the website was painful as simple tasks such as changing content and images they could not understand and would take 3 - 4 days to reply back to me.
The design they had sent was very unprofessional considering I had paid them $3,495 you would expect the design would be a lot nicer than a template I found online for $59
I strongly urge everyone not to use salted stone as you will be ripped off like I have.
