I will add one caveat to this review. If you payed for something and didn't get it the customer service is great, or if you try to upgrade your order like electronics, they are fast and very helpful. If not, it feels like they could give a $#*!.
So I did the custom powder coating on my saber with very specific instructions on where I wanted the powder coating. I also paied to upgrade the electronics in the saber to have sound. I received the entire handle powder coated and no sound electronics.
When i reached out to the customer service I received no help till replied to the emailed the person who helped me with my electronics upgrade (I was desperate at that point 3 days after receiving my order.) I was promptly told that the powder coating i received is what i payed for and they didn't do custom masking for powder coating. The electronics package was quickly sent out after i informed them i didn't get the sound electronics. I was still upset with the powder coating and provided examples of what i wanted on there website that had color from powder coating, black in the recesses and silver metal from the base handle and was told that the examples i was talking about were older models with pices that either came out or off of the handle which is why they still had silver on them. Which i think is a cop out and false advertising. I even asked about the fact that I put spacific instructions for something they didnt do why was I not contacted about it do see if it was what i really wanted or if that could be refunded from my purchase. I was given no answer.
In short don't expect much from customer service unless you didn't get something you actually payed for. Only reason I gave the 2 stars on satisfied with the product is because after I got the sound board I payed for the saber is really cool and it allows me to overlook the powder coating a little. But overall im dissatisfied with the product and customer service experience.

Where to begin? I feel as if I could write a novel regarding this abysmal experience. Firstly, let me say this - I never wanted to be the guy to write such a horrid review. I genuinely wanted and eagerly looked forward to obtaining a saber from SaberForge. Nonetheless, they've forced my hand; It would be a disservice to potential customers for me not to at least mention my experience.
After ordering the product on 12/31/2017, I expected, let's just say some basic form of communication regarding the production of my saber. Honestly, when spending nearly $500.00, this expectation doesn't seem too grandiose or unrealistic. However, to my initial surprise, I had to be the one to initiate any form of communication with this company. I was initially told my order would take six (6) to nine (9) weeks - which seems excessive in my opinion, but it is what is - so I thought. After the first six (6) week mark, I emailed Saberforge to ask what the status of my saber was. To my surprise, I was told it would now take twelve (12) weeks because of their production woes. Somehow building a $500.00 lightsaber takes longer than building a $350,000 house - for comparison. Nevertheless, I agreed to wait - and was polite the entire time. Keep in mind, they only have email for communication and they take multiple days to even respond, so you're simply out of options but to wait (most responses appear to be copy and pasted as well).
As the twelve (12) weeks came to an end, I had to message the company and let them know that I expected my saber to be completed and shipped my way immediately; to my dismay but not total shock, I was notified that it would be another three (3) weeks - minimum! Without hesitation I demanded my money back and they agreed. I was never offered any discount, meaningful remedy, or genuine care or concern. The lack of customer service knowledge, awareness, professionalism, and organization is beyond embarrassing - it's pathetic, shameful, and simply rude. It appears from online photos and videos that Saberforge makes excellent products, but having a superb product is irrelevant if the customer service and actual production time of the item is atrocious and poorly-managed. There's not much more to say.
I had to threaten to file fraud with my bank just to get them to respond to me by the end of my experience. I will never buy a saber from this establishment or even visit their website again, and I will share my experience with everyone I know who even entertains the thought of buying a product from Saberforge.
I was very happy with my saber blade. They hold up very well after heavy use.

The credits are very nice; metal and have a hefty weight to them. I'm very pleased!
