Total Scam
November 12, 2024

Ordered item. Canceled item within 6 hours after back and forth with customer service. 4 hours later they forced a shipping label on a national holiday saying they cannot stop order. This was after I canceled the order. Had to file dispute with CC company.

After reading so many negative reviews, I was apprehensive, but since their price on my item was by far the cheapest, I decided to give them a try. I almost immediately received an email with an order confirmation, and the next day I received a shipping confirmation with tracking number. A few days later, my part arrived, exactly as I ordered it.
I seriously wish every online vendor was this reliable. I'll definitely be doing more business with them in the future.

I placed an order for two RV water hoses with RV & Auto Parts. Within a few hours I received an email saying the product was discontinued and my order was being cancelled. In spite of this my card was charged in full. I sent RV & Autoparts an email when I saw the charge on my statement requesting a refund. I did not receive a reply. I called their Customer Service department, gave them my order number and asked for a credit, since my order was cancelled. They said it was up to the accounting department and that it would take 10 business days. What? Which company charges, in full, prior to shipping? Judging from the other complaints with similar stories, I would avoid doing business with RV & Auto Parts. It looks like they bait you with products at good prices, take your money and then delay until you have no recourse to dispute the charges. STAY AWAY.

Stay the hell away

Do not do business with this company. They will sell you an item that is out of stock. That will be the end of any communication you will get from them. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews on here before you buy anything. It has been a year since I placed my order. Was initially told the item was on back order. I was patient enough and forgot about it. The day after I called to inquire, my item was shipped with an e-mail indicating they just received some back order items. More bad news: the item shipped was the wrong one. Sent multiple e-mails with no replies. This company should be investigated for fraud.

I only checked reviews here *after* ordering a fairly expensive Lippert repair kit, so I got nervous when I saw that lots of people have evidently had problems with rvautoparts.com. But my parts showed up within a few days (with free shipping), the kit was exactly what I would have gotten directly from Lippert, and the price was substantially lower. I'm definitely happy with my order.

Scam, lies, deception, false advertising...

This place is a scam. Plain and simple. They juggle prices, lie, take your order and then send an email telling you that your item was on close out and is no longer available. I received the same email that others published here telling me that my exhaust system was no linger available. They then canceled my order, raised the price and now show it as available. The big problem is that the manufacturer had the item in stock the entire time.

Lies, deception and bad business practices.

Item ordered missing parts - they promised to get me the parts - after a few emails and phone calls they stopped all communication and I never got the missing parts - they just made sure they stretched it out long enough it was past return period.- Dont trust these people!

I purchased a motorcycle seat. Thinking I had ordered the correct one. It was not the correct seat. This business does not have a RMA or return process. You pay the shipping. Don't forget the 10% restocking fee. Dealing with this POS business cost me $43.15 and all I have to show for it is a lighter wallet and a headache. Avoid these people at all costs. If you think you are saving a couple of bucks. It may cost you in the long run.

My experience with RV autoparts.com was as good as it gets! The price was competitive, the item was in stock, the customer service was quite helpful and the item was delivered per the expected delivery window, and the item received was ‘as described' on their site. I would recommend. Not sure, why so many other customers had completely different experiences.

Poor... beware!
Read the other reviews also!
They show lots of stuff in stock that is not in stock. They put you on back order after they show it in stock and you order it. Even after I cancelled my order it still shows that they have lots in stock, even though they don't! They earned interest on my money and everyone else that they can scam and hold there money... for the "Back Order" They make interest off of everyone that is tricked...
BAD COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH!

Also had to google to find where to leave feed back... they don't offer feed back on there web site!

Non-delivery

Found a battery box IN STOCK per the RV & Auto Parts web site. Placed the order. Was contacted that this item WAS NOT in their stock. Was contacted that this item was back ordered X 2. Was contacted this item was being cancelled due to their inability to 'acquire' the product. Honoring the order/commitment was not important to them. There is a pattern of this behavior seen in the reviews. Expect the worst and hope for the best.

Shop elsewhere. I should have read their reviews first. My range is beat up in 4-5 places (SEE PHOTOS). I sent these photos but since it's been over 30 days they're saying I can't return it.

These people don't need your business, no matter how desperate you are. When I ordered an item, it was supposed to arrive in approx 6 days. I was supposed to get email confirmation of shipping, and I never heard anything. After 8 days I called, and after great difficulty reaching some one, I was told the item was on back order, buy they had no problem charging PayPal. I am a long time RVer, and no other RV parts supplier has ever failed to notify me when a part was unavailable.

Trash company

Decided to leave my review here since there wasn't a place on google or on the review page here. I ordered a oven range for my van. Arrived used or second time shipped ( which for 700 dollars I expected something pristine) The shipping was only in a cardboard box that appeared packaged by a 5 year old. Then upon opening the back plate was rusted and all corners were scratched, dented, and paint missing. They did not have another in stock and there discount offer was 90 dollars which took them a week to offer. Now the oven sits in my driveway for them to pick up and give me a full refund. I was open to a discount but even the customer service rep said that was not a good deal. 1/5 experience. As far as I see the only redeeming quality was my customer service representative who was kind and patient. Otherwise id give 0 stars. Highly do not recommend. Now I am behind on my project and need to purchase a new oven range. I have photos to I can share. Now its been 3 weeks still waiting on refund

Stay away

Abysmal experience. Placed an order for a slideout gearbox. Paid +100 for overnight delivery. Called them and left a message to seek callback. Wanted verbal confirmation they understood this had to go next day air. Tracked order and was notified by UPS that sender (RV and auto parts) sent the product too late so 1 day delay. Got some meaningless apology from them stating it wasn't deliberate. Reminded me of my child explaining they didn't mean to sneak a cookie. Then when product got to my home state hub, it was returned because somebody over there is too careless to write legibly. Another meaningless apology. Cancelling order. I have proof of this comedy of errors. I write this on 8/2 (4 days after my original order where I paid next day air). I'm in my RV, no new part from company. They suck.

Need to improve their communications

I am a motorhome owner who does all of my own maintenance. We were preparing for a long trip and while inspecting the motorhome, I found that one of the leveler jacks was damaged. I went online looking for the needed component. RV & Auto Parts website indicated that they had it in stock and I ordered the leveler jack from them.

Item I received was the exact item ordered and needed and was delivered on time to meet my deadline. Since I ordered it early in the day, it was shipped that day and I was given a projected delivery date of the next Friday before the end of the day. Item was delivered Friday morning.

The issue I had was that they have a problem in their communications with the customer. After I placed the order, I did not receive an email order confirmation. I called, the order confirmation arrived in minutes. Went to check order status, it showed "In Progress" for two days. I called because the part arriving on time was critical, they again confirmed a projected Friday delivery, the email with the tracking number arrived in minutes. I'm not sure why their emails are not automatically generated as they are with most vendors, but better communications would improve customer confidence.

Do not purchases unless you are purchasing on site. They will send you the wrong item and you are responsible for shipping it back. I was supposed to reimbursed for my shipping and never was. They'll give the mom and pop feel to make the sell and once you purchase, it becomes all business and policies.

100% Disappointed
June 24, 2020

I order Class B cover on July 9th. Was charged right away but have not received the product nor ANY communication. I called and left a VM and have also emailed, and have not received a response. I recognize we most shipping is delayed but the customer service is the worst. Decided to check out reviews to see if the site was a scam-and am sad to see others have also had poor experiences. Hopefully my purchase will arrive soon. Hopefully.
