Never again
October 10, 2019

List items they don't really have in stock. Then three days later they email you to say not in stock but for double the price we can special order it for you.Not worth your time dealing with them. Then you have to get PayPal envolved to get your money returned.

Ordered a part that was admittedly priced too good to be true but it was a strange item for them to have so I called the company and talked to somebody to ask if it was in stock and if it was correct. Dhe said it was. And if I ordered it it would ship in 48 hours

Turns out that reviews claiming a bait-and-switch on ordered parts costing many times more than what their website lists are true. I received an email from a Miguel they told me the price was $200 more than their websites listed price and asking if I would like to proceed with the order.

I suppose they probably do have all the parts on their website in stock and ready to ship but just assume that the price is incorrect and you will be paying MSRP or above despite whatever their web page says.

Missing parts

Bought tail lights for my jeep and the package was missing all of the wiring harnesses. Will never order from them again.

I can't, in good faith, really recommend this place. I can't prove it, but I'm pretty sure they drop-ship all their "inventory" and don't truly carry anything in stock that they claim to have.

I ordered a tail lgate liner from them that showed as "3 in stock" on their site. A few days later we were contacted that it was actually not in stock, but on back order but that we could call in to see what "similar items they had available." I should have just canceled my order right then and there.

Their customer service rep was very friendly and did truly seem to want to assist in any way she could. She was the 1 positive part of our experience. She ended up letting us know that they found the tailgate liner from one of their distributors without hardware, which was totally fine by me. We went through with continuing the order.

When the liner arrived, it was in a very thin box with no packing paper or anything to keep the liner from bouncing around like crazy. It arrived kind of beat up and CAKED in dirt and dust. It was no better than the liner I was trying to replace on my truck... So we called about scheduling a return and refund. Now, I was fully expecting to pay a restocking fee, as that is normal practice. But the business also wanted me to cover the return shipping, return processing fees, AND a restocking fee. This struck me as odd, as the item in itself was free shipping in the first place. This business is located in California but wanted me to return ship it to a building somewhere on the east coast. This is was leads me to believe that they are drop-shipping items from other companies and put any fees those companies would charge back onto the customer. After all the fees my refund would come out to like 4 bucks... so no. Lol. I ended just keeping the liner and now I'll probably just give it away to someone who could use it. (If ya have a 90's dodge, hit me up! Lol)

I was pleased with the customer service and how she wanted to help us but everything else about this ordeal was just super shady and left a bad taste in our mouths.

Need to improve their communications
June 14, 2021

I am a motorhome owner who does all of my own maintenance. We were preparing for a long trip and while inspecting the motorhome, I found that one of the leveler jacks was damaged. I went online looking for the needed component. RV & Auto Parts website indicated that they had it in stock and I ordered the leveler jack from them.

Item I received was the exact item ordered and needed and was delivered on time to meet my deadline. Since I ordered it early in the day, it was shipped that day and I was given a projected delivery date of the next Friday before the end of the day. Item was delivered Friday morning.

The issue I had was that they have a problem in their communications with the customer. After I placed the order, I did not receive an email order confirmation. I called, the order confirmation arrived in minutes. Went to check order status, it showed "In Progress" for two days. I called because the part arriving on time was critical, they again confirmed a projected Friday delivery, the email with the tracking number arrived in minutes. I'm not sure why their emails are not automatically generated as they are with most vendors, but better communications would improve customer confidence.

I ordered a
Winegard PL-7000R DISH Playmaker White Portable Antenna with Wally HD Satellite Receiver Bundle
From amazon for my place up north. I tried setting up and I have way to many trees after talking with support. Did a return through amazon. The return was approved sent item back. Product was received on May 1st and I still have not received my refund. This is very disappointing. I will nor purchase from them again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - these people accused me of fraud, made me jump through hoops to prove who I was, then cancelled my order anyway - tying up almost $1100 on my credit card for up to a week while they 'refund my money' - WASTE OF TIME, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL SCAM of a company. Absolutely disgusted, will make sure everyone in the RV community that I meet knows to avoid these crooks.

Sales people were nice and informative. Orderd Steps for my RV. Then things changed. Wanting to install My new steps10 days later but they never arrived. I called to ask what was the hold up & they said I NEEDED to pay extra $86.00 for shipping.
MIKE told me they couldn't use Fed Ex cause they tear up things, and I would have to pay a freight charge instead. Said he would refund my card then HUNG UP on me... Sorry I cannot say I'm Satisfied & think I will Let my 2500 Face Book Friends know also. I will make sure our Dealership Does not order Auto parts from them also.

Indifferent

Avoid these guys. Indifferent to whether they could help or not. Unsure of any solutions for customer service.
I ordered replacement rails for BAK Industries MX tonneau cover. 4 business days after I placed my order I was expecting delivery or at least a tracking number. Instead I got an email at 4:53 pm on a Friday before the holiday weekend that said sorry we don't have your parts in stock and we might be able to get it drop shipped from manufacturer, but it will be considered a special order and might be more for shipping. A lot of maybes and mights with no further information or suggestions for a solution. Poor professionalism and they were indifferent to my request for refund. No effort for a remedy. I do not reccomend ayone use this website or business.

Never buy from RVAutoparts. You will be ripped off. Shipping a little part for more than 8 dollars and it cost less than 4 to return. Ripped off!
