They let you register, don't give you access to anything within the first 7 days of trial and then (when you think the registration was unsuccessful) suddenly start collecting. You can only cancel via the account, but they don't send an email with a password and the password reset doesn't work well either. If you try to cancel by e-mail, you are deliberately sent from pillar to post. After several complaints, no solution is offered and they continue to insist that the invoice must be paid. The positive reviews on the various websites seem to be fake. Often the reviewers have only posted 1 review. My advice: DO NOT do business with this company and stay far away from them.

Even though they say you can create the forms for free, they dont give you access to it unless you pay them. They dont tell you this until after you have already filled out the entire form. Giant waste of time.

I have had a rocket lawyer subscription for more than 2 years. I subscribed to the monthly plan of. 99 auto billing. Today I attempted to create a corporate resolution for an llc company that I am the managing member. After I created the resolution I went to print the document and was directed to a page that wanted $39 for a document that I created. When I called up I was told that my plan was only for personal documents. What BS. Cancelled immediately.

In June of this year I hired Rocketlawyer's incorporation service for several services. These included a corporate dissolution, an LLC formation, and two items that did not go well (filing to register one of my LLC's as a foreign LLC in another state, and doing a DBA for that entity in that state). It is now year-end and I'm still trying to get these two remaining items finished. I have been charged $614.99 for these services. After inquiring to get the services accomplished, and waiting for a response (for weeks), I finally heard back for a small piece of the work to be done (newspaper notices, which they insisted, incorrectly, had to be filed in the LLC's home state for the foreign filing. They should be filed in the "foreign" state). I have been going back and forth via email and it's like talking to a brick wall. Finally, today (12/30/2020), I got a call (my last reachout was on 12/16/2020) from the person who has been making the aforementioned mistake, and who has been MIA until now. Why is she calling today? As she explained in the voicemail, she wanted to get things done before their year-end close. In addition to all of that, I was charged another $625 - why? I have no idea. It is on my credit card statement, but not on my list of invoices on their site. Obviously, I recommend strongly that you find someone else to do incorporation services.

After speaking with a clearing desk, once I had a membership, I informed Rocket Law is not a Law Firm
They do not have attorneys in each US state that can write documents that would stand up in a court of law, but in fact are grifters
Apparently they do have a main group of attorneys that they shield which you may get through to eventually, but I never was successful
I was basically told by the gatekeeper lady, that there was a document I could download online and fill in the blanks, even though I had questions, but still was not able to talk with an officer of the court, because that's not what they do, they are not a law firm, per se
However, in the fine print they do have an automatic billing cycle which will automatically keep hitting your card every month I am trying to get that stopped is not difficult, it's just that their word is not gospel
First try was not successful, second Paul was successful and a refund was issued so instead of calling a third time I saw the refund of $39.95 on a US issued bank card
Ultimately what could've cost me $79.80 US currency only cost $39.95, so I suppose I should cut my losses and consider myself fortunate under the circumstances
However, in Europe this would be illegal and I thought instead of all these high ratings someone should show the other side of the coin
When I called today thanking that because I had paid, but not informed that by receiving the refund quickly, thank you rocket mortgage, I no longer even had the information of what the document was called, or apparently the right to receive the name of the document from the individual on the other end of the phone line … lol

Pay reasonable money to a real attorney if you need one, otherwise don't waste your time with this outfit, probably located in a strip mall in Poughkeepsie
The funny thing is that I never intended to go to court if my suit had not panned out, as the amount was under $10,000 that I would ask for, I would not stop this home renovation, As it's not our main home and we would've proceeded so yes so called law firm would've been off the hook all along

I started a free trial for Rocket Lawyer, thinking about starting a pop up bbq business and wanted to look at customer contracts. Free trial was for 7 days I believe and I forgot about the trial, well I looked into my account there is a charge. And even I contacted rockets customer service to cancel. They won't credit it back I never used the service in the first place. No email to advise of trial ending either. So be careful of this company, they could have sent an email. At least. My guess is this is how they make their bust money from people who simple are living life and forget about their memberships and they don't use the service. Free money for rocket lawyer!

When I called them Rosechelle was prompt at reversing the charges. Reversal MAY TAKE TEN BUSINESS DAYS.

I did have good use of retrieving needed Documents for my free trail time. But after opting out of the monthly I was still charged for 2 months.
I immediately called and made them awof this and they have assume that it will no longer happen and refunded my money. Waiting 7-10 days to return my money they took out 15 minutes ago.

I noticed fees coming out from my bank account which I did not set up in the first place, then contacted them by email from which I got a reply telling me that they have no cancelled my account and no more payments will continue to come out. I have no clue why they have my details, so I decided to go back and ask for a refund yet to find they have come back and said these words, we have now closed yur account and no more payments will be taken from your account. It is like they are not reading my emails, more like they are sending out a standard email. Then I noticed they have taken another amount of £29.99 from my account from which I emailed them again and they said that they have refunded my £29.99 which they did, two days later they took yet another £29.99 from my account. I yet again contacted them by email telling them they either refund and stop taking funds from my account or I will take things further. They responded with the same words from the other last emails they sent me. By this time I am way beyond angry. I sent them yet another email explaining again what they have done and I said that I have proof of the last email they sent me explaining that they have refunded my account. Then another email I got from this company saying that they have refunded me another £29.99 which can take some time. I waited for the time to come up and still nothing. So yet again I emailed them back and asked what the heck is going on. Then again the same standard email back saying we have closed your account and no more funds will be debited from your account. You can imagine how angry and upset I was by then. I sent yet another email telling them why have they done this yet again, yet too find a response back asking me for proof of the email saying that they are going to refunded my account again with the £29.99 which I did. The reply back I got from this email was exactly the same as all of the other emails this company have sent me. It is like no one is actually reading what people are writing and hoping they will just go away. This person as in me will not go away until I get my money back that you took out without my authority. Then again I sent another email explaining that this is my last email and now I will seek legal advice myself. How on earth can this company get away with doing such acts. Maybe purely down to thinking they are lawyers they can do what they think. Absolutely disgusted.

I signed up for their premium membership in Jan 2023 and was a member for 4 months. I cancelled my membership because of their false promises. They promise that as a premium member legal documents will be reviewed by attorneys in 24 hours. I submitted a document for review and the attorney didn't even read the document. I clarified the changes I had made and after that didn't hear back from them. I reached out to customer support who promised that someone will get back to me within 2 days and no one got back even after a week. Multiple mails to them have been ignored. At this point I feel like such a fool having wasted $160 on their subscription plan with nothing in return.

I recently tried the trial and created one document and edited one time exactly 20 mins wasn't satisfied with the layout and understood I had the 8 days to cancel so I reached out through their chat and not email because thought it would take longer and I do not have time to call because I work from home and homeschooling from home. The chat loaded and did not get me with an agent I waited each time so I figured it was down reached out exactly four days and finally got someone explained and they basically said I was lying that it doesn't show record of it when I have worked in a call center for 8 plus years so I understand if the chat wasn't loading for me OFCOURSE THEIR WOULDNT BE HISTORY OF IT. I did let them know also I really can't afford this charge and they said I should read better next time agreement rules totally dismissing that I said I have been trying to reach out TO AVOID BEING CHARGED I found it totally unconsiderate and shows the business is a money hungry waste of time. I was advised that I would be billed 39.95 a month once I entered my credit card unless I canceled the account. Upon learning this information I promptly cancel my account and documented It.
However today I just got an email from my credit card company saying I was billed 39.95. This seems typical of the free trial websites.

We also show that your membership has been downgraded (cancelled) and the charge of $39.95 was refunded as of 6/11/2018, please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to process.

Rocket Lawyer doesn't allow you to enter more than 500 letters in your question to them. This limits the information that an attorney has available, which automatically sets you and and the attorney that answers your question up for failure.
When you get your response back from attorney, and you can clearly see that they don't have enough information to correctly respond, you can follow up with another question. Unfortunately, there is a 500 letter limit to your response. GRRR!
I will not be using this service again because of their idiotic 500 letter limit.
