100% BS not to mention if you leave a comment about it which I did...
C/P it read - Gotta love when you search for a free phone number/reverse look up & you go to it, you wait till all the info comes up in anticipation, then you realize the result are blurry with a pop up that asks for $$$ it said "FREE"! What a waste of time not to mention false advertising! Scammers everywhere you turn! Reveal Name... my backside!
As soon as I pressed post it said it is not comment that would be approved ~ So I thought okay apparently the Truth Hurts I guess. Which is what I re entered in as comment as I am a lot of things, a quitter I am not...
As I enter Guess The Truth Hurts - Was I surprised that they did not like that comment/opinion either Ahhh not really!
So my opinion I will post here & on sitejabber... Guess they can't do much now! If my comment/experience helps one person, that's all that matters,!
Says they get their information from "publicly available sites" which is BS. Someone working at this company has a personal dispute with my family member and illegally posted their personal data which is NOT publicly available anywhere. We know because we have a private data scrubbing software that tells our entire family where each morsel of personal data is online. This company is illegitimate and uses shady practices that violate data security policies and will be reported for investigation.
Page headline "100% FREE, Get Full Name". Reality is each search is $5.99, regardless of whether they find anything, and you can be assured they will find nothing that doesn't already pop up in a Google search.
The icing on the cake of this joke of a company is the laughable search progress bars they use when bringing you to a results page, as if the website is collecting information on the phone number in real time (and that it takes over a minute to aggregate data automatically). In reality this process is instantaneous and the progress bars are used in an ruse to justify in their FAQs that the $5.99 fee is necessary for the resources of their "emerging search technologies".
Revealname falsely claims to be free! It also wastes your time like it is gathering *useless* info. After that ends, you get absolutely no information, unless you pay! You can find out more with just googling the #, or at legit # search sites like 1 800 notes. Who called. Etc.
No way would I pay such a shady unhelpful company!
There is no way to opt out, and the "Do not sell my information" link does not work. I also used a service, and they were unresponsive. I tried contacting them myself.
