I submitted a my complete (and I'm now realizing better resume than I would get from ResumeGo) in hopes of making it better. I also included some additional info to help the resume writer understand my current job. My first "draft" that was sent was incredibly disappointing. It was simply a rewording of ONLY my professional summary section with some adjectives added in. This draft did not include any other section beyond my professional summary…the work experience section had nothing filled in…
Based on this "draft", I had no confidence to continue with my writer.

When I reached out to ResumeGo for a refund, they refused to acknowledge or review this draft that was submitted: " To avoid any case-by-case arbitrary decision making we generally just follow our refund policy without making any exceptions. Our writers have different approaches when it comes to creating the rough draft depending on the specific situation of the client they are working with. Sometimes the initial resume is a very preliminary, rough draft that is meant to be worked on much more while in other cases, the initial resume is more refined and closer resembles the final resume the client will be using."

My response was: "I understand your refund policy is in place to avoid arbitrary decision making. However, has anyone actually reviewed the resume I submitted and the "first draft" that was given to me? To reiterate, this draft is my own words rearranged with adjectives added in. Though we are avoiding arbitrary decision making, this whole experience seems to be arbitrary. As a professional resume writing service, you should have guidelines in place for what a first draft should consist of both for your writers and customers. This lack of structure allows a resume writer to write a bare minimum draft of ONLY the professional summary and be paid $180 whether the customer decides to proceed or not. I have now spent $180 on a draft of less than 25% of my actual resume... The lack of definition of a first draft truly takes advantage of customers. The fact that you can support a first draft that does not include 75% of my resume including the actual experience section is concerning and takes advantage of your customers."

Very disappointing experience.

ResumeGo did amazingly well with writing my resume to prepare for the job opening I wanted to apply for. They met the opening's deadline and tailored things to the job which is exactly what I wanted from them.

They're AWESOME in all caps! I had a family emergency with my kids come up back to back for both times I had scheduled my 1-on-1 with my writer and she was perfectly chill and understanding about the whole situation.

Even more importantly, the resume I got was superrrrr well-written and better than even the pro examples you see online. This was definitely top notch service I was getting and I am grateful for their help.

I am impressed with how professional things were. After filling out the original questionnaire, I was prompted contacted by my writer to go over my needs. Within 3ish days, I received my resume and had another quick call to go over everything. Nothing to complain about and definitely would highly recommend to others.

I don't bother leaving reviews very often but my writer did such a tremendously amazing job with my resume that I HAD to shout him out. It's so rare to use any sort of service (whether it be tax services, going to the doctors, or a financial advisor) for the professional to ACTUALLY LISTEN TO YOUUUUUU and work WITH YOUUUUU to get whatever it is you hired from them done right.

This is by far the #1 positive thing I have to point out. My writer actually talked with me about what I thought would need to be changed about my resume and he offered his thoughts on my take and engaged in a product conversation that ultimately led him to write my resume in the way I wanted it to. This is by far the best experience I've had with any sort of career service

I am not a business owner just an individual looking for a new job. I ordered my resume from this company in June of 2021 and have yet to receive a finished product. Despite repeated attempts to contact customer service, customer service told me they would assign me a new writer. I attempted to reach out to them again and was ignored. This was a complete waste of time and money.

Their resume checker provided me with very useful information about my resume. I also used Jobscan's but it wasn't as comprehensive as this one's.

Got my resume a few days ago and was super pleased with the results. Still a couple of things to talk over with my writer tomorrow, but all in all this was an A+ job.

Really poor service. The writer got my original resume and messed up dates and gave minimal effort. She then ghosted me for 3 weeks. I asked for the money back per their guarantee and they denied it. Sham service.

I found their service to be amazingly helpful in helping improve my resume. I was also pleasantly surprised to have gotten the resume writer I wanted originally from their writers page.

The most noticeable quality of my new resume is what they changed around with my work history section. From talking to my writer, my original writer was too long, and wasn't very skimmable. What I got was a resume far more compartmentalized and concise, which from learning more about resumes online, is exactly the way to go.

Had to try 2 other services before finding one that actually PUT IN THE WORK like they are supposed to.

I would give a 5 star, but because the pay is higher for this service than the industry average, I feel like it's still not the ideal, ideal option.

I ordered the porfessional package + cover letter which totaled around $290. Like I mentioned before, the resume was stellar, and I really appreciated the time spent with my writer discussing it. The cover letter is like this review, a 4 out of 5. I feel like I could have written something like that myself or got close to it.

I had a really pleasant time talking with my writer about the ins and outs of my resume and what should be done to improve it. I don't like how their customer support is hard to reach by phone, but besides that, everything else was really solid and I have no real other complaints.

Their ATS program (or at least their resume scanner mimicing one) is definitely the best you can find for free online. It provided me with a lot of hlepful things that I need to work on with my resume.

Really really good resume - a few minor mistakes made with my job history so I dock 1 star. I think my writer was really experienced and qualified to write my resume, but could have asked me more questions to make sure there were no inconsistencies on my resume between what I've done and what she thought I did.

They wrote my marketing resume and did an amazing job. The resume written for me was way better than my old resume, and showcased mroe of my accomplishments in fewer words. I also really liked my writer and had a great experience.

Great resume templates offered from their site, I wanted to take my time to give thankssss. They really helped me with my resume

Resume was good overall but took too long - I wanted to apply for a job opening with a deadline in about a week, but process ended up taking around 1-2 weeks so I ended up missing my application.
