With 8 years of experience in medical equipment sales, I've excelled as a Sales Manager. Achieving top sales status for Neurosurgical devices in Africa, I specialize in promoting leading brands like Integra Life Sciences and Codman. Proficient in hospital management and critical care unit promotion, I drive success through strategic sales initiatives and strong industry relationships.
Kinda bull$#*! that you help me go through the entire process of bolstering up my resume only to charge me at the last possible second just to download the resume that was fixed. Had I known beforehand that you'd be charging me to get MY OWN RESUME back right at the end, I would have chosen another company to go through. Enjoy your $3 because that will be all you're getting out of me. Also, saying "you must have put a 1 or 2 star review by mistake" is $#*!ing wild. Do better.
Creating the resume was smooth, although the rest of the experience was poor. Took me 8 tries of inserting my credit card info before actually completing the whole process and I tried to sign in on other devices to submit payment but no luck till various attempts. I also sent myself 3 emails to get myself logged in and the emails where either blank or showed the coding scripture of the page rather than content regarding my login.

If you want to charge me 2-6 dollars each time I log back in, make some changes, and download my updated resume, thats fine, but 24 dollars for not touching it for a month? I uploaded my previous resume and had to edit all the information the website ripped form it to make it anywhere close to legible. I shouldn't be charged 24 dollars just because I've used the website before. Ridiculous.
Familiarity, but I certainly won't be using it again after this.

Pricing model is given AFTER a long form. You know very well that people will spend a significant amount of time on the form, and THEN learn about the pricing options. This model relies partially on the sunken cost fallacy to hook new purchases. I did however find the tool VERY useful! So I'm going to make a purchase, but I would have appreciated more pricing info upfront from the beginning.

You should not advertise "free resume" when its not. Clever asking for payment after the completion of the resume.
Funny... I can only choose YES for making sure I'm satisfied with my order and not no. This is what they do in totalitarian countries... LOL..
I thought it was free.

Definitely bait and switch, searched everywhere to find out if you charged for your "free" template. Purchased out of purely not wanting to regret the time i already put into this one. Being upfront would not have deterred me. But the feeling of being deceived has damaged what could have been a great resource.

No pricing information until after you spend all the time on the thing building out your resume. When I click "monthly" it says what's due today is the entire year's worth?
The "all in" $2.95 trial then becomes a $34.95 every 4 weeks sub?
Yeah, i'm getting my resume and dumping this service. You people need to really lower your shady experience metric.
Because it had decent looking resumes.

I cancelled subscription 2 days ago got email confirmation. Today charged monthly $24.95. Emailed needed refund and provided screenshot of cancelation confirmation.
Response, as a courtesy we are refunding $12.95 (half) because we can only do full refund if you tell them the same day they charge your card. Yah, was charged today, emailing requesting refund today. Cancelled 2 days ago. Full refund should just be a given without dealing with this lame BS.

Where to begin, first I'm doing this on a cell phone. After uploading my old resume, I put my phone down and came back a few minutes later and my resume was gone and the app wanted me to start over. This happened multiple times. Most importantly, when adding references I couldn't continue without knowing an email address. I have multiple former coworkers that don't have email. Very disappointing.
I had used it years ago.

I spent a lot of time working on this without knowing about the paywall. Pretty scummy.
After spending all that time making the resume, my only choice was disappointment - either waste the time I spent making the resume without knowing about the paywall, or pay unexpected money.
Also, it seems like I can't even move on from this form until I submit an email. Triple scummy. Will neither return nor recommend this application.
Seemed like a handy tool. Warn people about the paywall though so they won't use a bunch of time and be disappointed about either spending money or letting their time go to waste.

Misleading marketing / intro. These are not FREE templates, and once you're so-far in it's pretty impossible to lose all that time/work and not pay to get the download.
I'd be more inclined to pay for ongoing support/upgrades (and recommend this service to others!) but at this point feel mislead, frustrated and eager to cancel ASAP.
Because I searched "FREE"

I can't copy and paste what I've entered into my business objective section to put into a cover letter(I"m not even given that option?)

Wasting my time and energy perfecting my resume just to get charged when your website said "free downloads". Tired of false advertisements.

I used this as part of a free resume template search. After building my resume, I hit a pay-wall forcing me to either pay for said "free" resume or start over elsewhere. (renewing at $24!) I HATE the bait and switch.
Searching for a free resume template to apply in a temp different career path.

The website said FREE. I spent a good deal of time filling out the various sections to update my resume. It was not until I clicked "download" that it asked me for payment information.
I find this very disappointing and misleading.
The clean and organized resume formats you advertised.

I really liked the ease and quickness of filling out a new resume, however, I feel as though you did a bait and switch by advertising it's free, when in reality, when you're finished you have to pay at least 2.95 in order to download and print it out. Not very nice.
I chose it because I was looking for a free resume builder, this one advertised that it was, but in fact it's not free.

Template suggestions ok. I am mad because it said free then charged me at the last second without downloading before paying. I also chose this because I need a curriculum vitae and the ad posted claimed I could create it here. I do not see this option, only a cover letter. Close but no cigar
Because I was dumb and got tricked

You need to be upfront about billing. I was referred to this site by worksource as a free site for resume building. After completing the work, I find out there is a fee to print/download my information. I contacted customer service and was told the text portion of my resume was free. The instructions provided did not allow me to access the text. I was then told to try another web browser. Too many hoops to jump for a template.
* ResumeGenius attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond
You said it was free but we get to the point to print or email and you throw a charge in there. It's very dishonest.

I spent 2 hours perfecting my resume thinking this was a free service. I finally finished, and was prompted for a credit card number. If I had known if wasn't free, I would have written my own on Microsoft Word. It is not properly cautioned that this is not a free service, and that after two hours of work, all your work will go down the drain. I wish this had been announced at the beginning of the process. Feels like a sneak attack.
Because I thought it was free

This website has been crashing all day. I have been trying to renew my subscription so I can update my resume and it has taken me over 5 hours to finally get to the payment screen / get it to work. I initially only paid a couple of dollars for this, but now I have to pay $25 to edit it. I really like the way this site designed my resume but I am frustrated with this. I guess I had a trial when I first signed up.
I chose ResumeGenius so I could update my resume that I had built on here previously.

Why do you have to sign up for a membership to make 1 resume? Why does it then jump to an auto renewal that is far more expensive than the product you will hardly use? Greed. That's why. The product its self is good but the obvious greed of the company makes it feel dirty and shameful. Why not just do a low charge for 1 resume instead of trying to scam people?
I needed a resume
