I would just say dont have the customer selected, as automatically signed up for the subscription. No one wants to spend $40 a month on a resume. All I wanted was one put together resume. Ill pay $2 for that, if you accept that and try not to scam others, who you have agready made unaware of their purchase, you will have a smooth operation going.

There was no disclosure about $39 fee after 14 days. And its has been 5 days I havent heard from anyone. I need a respond back. Can someone one contact me back on regard to this problem.

On 10/4 I contacted customer service at Resume genius regarding a refund. I was contacted via email by Betty Ko. I was informed that my refund was processed and would be refunded in 20-25 days. I was also informed that if I left a positive review on this site that she would expedite the refund. I informed her that I would be happy to leave a review AFTER the refund had posted. I'm still waiting!
Here it is 2 months later and no refund as promised. I reached out via email a second time to inquire about the whereabouts of the refund and got no response.
Do NOT do business with this company. They are thieves I will now be contacting out CU and the BBB to file complaints..

WASTE OF TIME- SCAM

These templates did not improve my resume at all, in fact I received more responses from the resume I did myself and NO responses from the resume I built using this rip off site. Called to cancel and requested refund. Betty has not responded to any of my follow up emails. Dont waste your time or money.

I recently subscribed to ResumeGenius.com and it was most helpful. After a miscommunication regarding my cancellation of their services within the allotted time and still being charged the full rate, I was able to communicate the mishap with their new customer service management person, Betty Ko, who has rectified the situation and is processing a full refund for the charges charged to me after canceling the trial subscription.

I found charges on my card that were not mine from and email that was not mine on this site. Luckily they are working with me on it however it has been met with some resistance right now it seems I eventually will get my money back

BETTY KO IS A FRAUD

Cancelled account, customer relations BETTY KO, tricked me to write a review on your website, saying, she'll take care of it fast, and now won't refund me monies due. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT FALL FOR HER LIES. I've called 8 times, each time being told she didnt receive screenshots, and today was told it's to late, and I sent her a screenshot of her saying she did receive all necessary paperwork, FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD

It was alright.

I only wanted the one time free of a dollar for a resume and then later deleted my account after figuring out that you have to pay more in order to use it. I then get charged twice for 32 dollars or so and ended up getting frauded by it. I would just like my money back.

Fast Customer Service

I canceled my account due to funds shortage. Juan the manager contacted me after I had contacted the customer service department. He promised to contact the accounting department after I was still charged for the site fee of $39.95. Money I needed to live on. I explained the situition and he was very nice and understanding. The program itself works great in helping to present a better resume. I made one during the trial period and have yet to test it out on an actual potential employer. But it was nice and easy to use.

Looking at some of the reviews here it is amazing how many people do not read the information before the purchasing. I signed up and canceled before the 14 days because of the fact that I know I had to cancel before the auto-renewal.
I'm very satisfied with the template I chose, furthermore, I'm so excited because I received a couple of calls for interviews the day before yesterday after submitting my resume, I'm really proud to have found Resume Genius!

BS service. I wouldn't even give them one star if I could. They make you THINK you have two different subscription options - no such thing. When you sign up for what you think is a short-term low-cost subscription, they're actually signing you up for monthly $40 deductions and then they'll refuse to refund regardless of what you initially signed up for, or the fact that you haven't even used the month subscription. Save yourself the money and don't sign with them!

Very Effective!

I must say my resume was very effective, I provided assurance to the interviewer using an amazing template, I noticed how he became surprised when he read my resume! I'm so happy because at the end of the interview he told me that the company would be proud to have me in the team. Job obtained!
